Like guys were saying on the last page, I've noticed non-practicing Sikh's are pretty alpha. Christian Indians (mainly practicing Catholic, they take it seriously) seem more alpha too since they're more westernized from having less brown friends, often from being sent to Catholic schools. Hindu's on the other hand... Also, generally the wealthier one's background, the more westernized and alpha they are, unlike the 2nd generation kids who still seem like FOB's from growing up in immigrant neighbourhoods and going to immigrant schools.

Kind of hard to feel sorry for that chick getting stared at. She's wearing a miniskirt in India. Doesn't take a whole lot of common sense to understand that you should not dress that way in a country full of thirsty men.

I can't imagine there's too many dudes in India rocking New England prep style... They can tell you're visiting from overseas. It's pretty easy to tell if an Asian or brown dude is from overseas just by looking at them here, you're experiencing the reverse of this.

A few years ago I was at my sister's wedding in India. Her white friend came along. She was a 5 at best.

She was annoying as a fuck because she would jump in on family conversations uninvited. WNB

On the wedding day, a whole bunch of Indian dudes lined up to take a picture with her. So bad that this line was longer than the line for bride and groom pictures. I was like wtf but not surprised. I guess they saw a 9+ when there truly were other attractive girls there.

I think a lot also has to do with just seeing them as easy here . So like going for the sure thing. A lot of then obviously don't realize how supply and demand works, and the fact that they are inflating the shit out of her price.

And then they go back to their countries and keep the 9 tag they were given.

I was in Punjab a couple of months ago, and for many of the guys aged between 16-25 it's impossible to tell if they're from India or western born and raised Indians (UK, US, Canada etc) just by looking at them. You can only tell when they speak. The younger guys in Punjab (who are mostly pretty Alpha) are dressed pretty decently now because of satellite TV...however very few of these guys make out of India, cos a lot of these guys are not educated! They're too busy taking drugs.

Is it me or do Indians love wearing striped tops/shirts in clubs?

From my experience, the Punjabis (Singhs) are a different breed than the Gujaratis (Patels).

Most of the IRTs I've met are Patels.

I actually support feminism in India, because in India women actually are abused and treated like dogshit. Not like in America, where women have more rights than men and yet still claim to be an oppressed class.

disclaimer: not all indian men are like this, and there are certainly some cool indian men. but for the most part, most indian men do fit into the category of what we are describing here.

Feminism in india would be a disaster. It's already a highly repressed culture. Feminism is about furthering a social ideal which pedestalizes all pussy. What India needs is to take traditional roles into the "modern" era of at least the 1950's. Right now they are hovering around the medieval period.

There are places in the world where people with less power are frequently abused. These places require a solutions, but it sure as hell isn't feminism.

First of all, feminism wouldn't work, because its mode of operation is to use its political influence for force society to give women free stuff.

It can change things in the West, only because women already are politically represented there.

The problem with India and places like it, is that the powerless have no power to begin with and that isn't going to change any time soon.

But aside from that, feminism wouldn't fix anything. True equality might.

Both of you are right, I take back what I said about supporting feminism. What a place like India needs is human rights, not men's or women's rights. Men are also very downtrodden in that country and it's actually quite a misandric country.

India definitely needs to modernize. They are still living in a colonization mind-set and see westerners and non-indians as evil oppressors, which is bullshit. The amount of racism and classism in India is off the fucking charts. Indians are racist towards their own race, what to speak of non-indians.

Poverty is also a big factor in India. People have no way of upwards mobility, and once they are stuck in poverty or even worse, poor in a rural area, there is no hope of improvement.

The new PM Narendra Modi might be able to fix India's problems but I doubt it. Remember back in 2008 when everyone was saying "Let's vote for HOPE AND CHANGE, aka Obama" and how did that turn out? Things are worse than ever in America. If technology became more available towards the poor and downtrodden, things might begin to change. Governments generally never solve shit. And in many cases, big government leads directly to mass genocide.

Modi is not Obama. He has a proven track record in making his home state the best and most efficiently run. He is not a PC bitch. He is an old school guy.

I'll put my own spin on this and also throw in a compare and contrast to the US of A.

The caste system in India created a wide rift between the haves and have nots, the remnants of which exist to this day. The richest in India still hold more wealth and the poorer a lot less proportionally than many first world western nations, where the wealth is more evenly distributed. Over the years, Indians started attributing wealth and power with color and beauty, with higher caste generally white skinned or more attractive people appearing more dominant in contrast to the lower caste generally darker skinned people who were more submissive. For example, an Aryan princess in ancient North India could have still made a merchant caste man her bitch, very easily. The lower castes basically just looked up to the upper castes which created a perspective of "status."

Today, Indian men with lower means and less social education come to the rescue of a prettier girl because this mindset has been somehow passed down. It's true "white knighting." In reality, the people with means today are descendants of those higher caste people that ruled ancient India. Just as they did back then, today the higher castes may still have better access to wealth, nutrition and exercise.

The reason that feminism in India doesn't have the power to help the masses of women is that lower class women don't have the wealth and power to weild it since they are in the lower class of income. On top of that, the upper class minority of women don't need it. The white knights that come to their rescue do so right before going home and slapping the shit out of their wife because the roti wasn't warm enough that night. The richest still get to control the masses this way and they sleep well at night.

There is no caste mentality in the west because we're such a democratic society. I'm being sarcastic but want to add that feminism has seemed to replace it. Let's take the USA. Having a vagina pretty much provides power especially with a strong liberal democratic political landscape which India doesn't have. It's the landscape in which equal rights have thrived and have allowed powers such as feminism to take a hold while allowing conservative ideals such as the red pill fall apart.

This landscape defers power to the women because 95% of men that are influenced by it give them that power. Surprising fact is that the 95% includes famous celebrities as we have seen recently. However, the landscape also defers power for the top 5% men because they are still conservative and eventually bang those women as the white knights self immolate themselves slowly like tibetan monks.

The "white knighting" here has taken pussy pedestalization to the extreme because it serves the liberal and supposedly democratic status quo. There is no ancient culture to dictate this; just media manipulation and a more recent tradition of empty female empowerment driven by beta fathers that actually buy into this shit because they have no strong male role model. The recent mainstream shaming of the Manosphere just goes to show how diluted in the culture white knighting really has become.

I'll stop there before this stops being about Indian Trolls and more about white knighting in the west. We already have premier threads for that. And for fuck's sake .. like Chris Rock said in Friday, "It's friday, I aint got no job....I ain't got shit to do."

I noticed the same thing, that indian men don't put all indian women on a pedestal, they only put the light skinned indian women on a pedestal. And the dark skinned or medium dark skinned indian women they treat like garbage, as you pointed out with your comment about "slapping her for not cooking the roti right".

So I will rephrase my original question- could feminism in India help benefit the darker skinned indian women?

The reason I ask that is because it appears that indian men take their women for granted, the same way American women take American men for granted. I've noticed that many indian men have the same entitlement complex that American women have. So when feminists say that indian men have an entitlement complex, I am prone to agree with them.

Feminism isn't going to do a shits worth little for MOST women in India because they're poor and don't have power, dark skinned or not. They have their husband's and kid's roti and laundry to worry about. That's why I said "socio-economic."

And as tough as it is for me to say this, it's just like how the manosphere can't reach MOST men in the west because they're also poor, well socially and lacking balls. They have their netflix, porn and facebook to worry about.

One thing makes both scenarios different: Western men have a CHOICE to go to returnofkings.com or rooshv.com.

Poverty isn't really such a bad thing because it keeps women well behaved. Look at the behavior of women in 3rd world countries vs that of women in first world countries. Or since we are talking about Modi, look at the behavior of Gujarati women as compared to the behavior of Bengali women. The more wealthy a country or place is the worse women will behave.
