Welp, here we go.
Prepare for the next shitstorm of media and liberal hysteria.

The liberals who will bash trump online, Facebook etc, wouldn't even vote for him anyways, so I doubt that they will make a big difference even if they do vote.
Banning all Muslim immigration is either IMHO gonna make him more popular or remain the same. He's not stupid. Look how Belgium, France and England have turned out. Those countries are a mess.
Now trump said temporarily,,, I doubt the media will put that in.
Trump's greatest advantage is his ability to get facts into the public mind. Look at this from his statement:
"Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing "25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad" and 51% of those polled, "agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah." Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won't convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women."
How many people do you think know that statistic as of today? How many people will know it 2 weeks from now? And do you think it's going to change a few minds?
I've never seen anything like this. I've never even imagined anything like this. A presidential candidate who actually tells the truth? Wow!

Someone's paying attention to the problem.
Stuff like this is why I love the Trump campaign.
The normal blueprint that GOP candidates follow before the primaries is to be just a little more right wing than the other candidates, but no so much as to ruin their appeal during the general election.
Trump has completely destroyed that blueprint. None of them are going to be just a little more right wing than trump. None of them will go further than saying they want to stop all muslim immigration.
However, having trump in the running gives them the opportunity to swing further right than they would if he wasn't in the race. I imagine the rhetoric for most candidates would be a lot more moderate if trump wasn't in there shattering the blueprint.
This is shaping up to be one of the most interesting presidential elections in our lifetimes.

He can also show the polling of just how many Muslims in France, the UK, etc. are sympathetic toward ISIS and think that Sharia law should be placed above national law. These are the so-called "moderate Muslims" the left has a love affair with.

I commented on this in the wake of the Paris attacks:
Quote:I was mulling over some ideas about how you combat situations like the one in Paris.
Bombing a random country isn't going to work.
Deporting a bunch of people based on religious affiliation but who might be otherwise 2nd/3rd generation natives isn't going to work.
Both will just create too much blowback and resentment and in effect, create new terrorists.
So what options are left?
I think one that is semi-realistic (although I'm not sure how effective it would be) would be the immediate shut down of all Islamic mosques, religious buildings, or anything that appeases Islamic culture in any shape or form within Western borders until further notice.
One thing that I don't see a lot of in this thread or anyone's commentary even outside the forum is why aren't so called "moderate" Muslims being held accountable in some way out of all this?
I can't imagine that many of these so called "moderates" aren't aware of a hardcore type among their social circles but don't act on it and report it to authorities for whatever reason. Maybe sympathy. Maybe fear. Maybe laziness. But these people, the so called "good Muslims" who allegedly claim they disapprove of what the extremists do, are essentially on the frontlines of this war. However, they refuse to fight for their respective host nations that have been very gracious to them.
Why is it on the Western world to unfuck the mess within their religion? If they can't organize themselves in a manner that keeps their beyond friendly host nations safe (Europe has been ultra understanding of Muslim bullshit after all), then they forfeit the privilege to practice and engage in whatever non-sense they like. As of today, these moderates who have an inside view of things and are the closest link to extremists or potential extremists, have suffered no real losses from the numerous cold-blooded attacks on various Western societies. It is time for them to get some real skin in the game.
A couple of things could play out:
1. The so called "good Muslims" actually get serious, get organized, revolt against the extremists and flush them out for the authorities to scoop up.
2. The so called "good Muslims" show their true colors, become enraged and start becoming extremists themselves (either covertly or overtly). They have now marked themselves for authorities to scoop up.
The end result is the same. Islam and all its followers, even the moderate ones, MUST be shamed into potential extinction and excommunication from the Western world to reign in their extremists. If the shaming and temporary full stop rejection of their religion (by shutting EVERYTHING Islamic related down) doesn't do it, nothing will. At that point, I think the permanent ban of all Muslim/Islamic establishments and culture must be a serious consideration for the western world to thrive; to the extent that the religion is socially associated in the same context as the Nazis, the KKK, hate groups, African tribal rapist militias, Rosie O'Donnell, and other scums of humanity
I'm so glad we have someone like Trump in this country, a serious contender for President with a virtual unlimited war chest to fight off all the bullshit, that is willing to come out and call it as it is. And now, he is putting all the "moderate" Muslim appeasers/sympathizers on the hook and forcing them to get some skin in the game. They have gotten off WAY too lightly in the past and its time for that to end.
No one has a RIGHT to enter the United States of America. It is a PRIVILEGE. And that privilege can be revoked or denied.
Want a case study on what happens to a country when you allow a bunch of Muslims into it and want to know what the end result will look like? Take a look at the UK, Sweden, France, Germany. All treated these Muslims like saints and look at what they got in return? Stabbings, beheadings, Sharia Law appeasement, mass shootings, and a dilution of the native culture. The final insult being a limp dick response time and time again from the so-called "moderate" Muslim community.
They have been on borrowed time for quite a while. Time's up.
Email from Rand Paul today makes points very supportive of Mr. Trump:
Dear Deepdiver:
In last night鈥檚 address, the President continued his failure of leadership and his outrageous quest to turn a necessary discussion on terrorism and national security into an unnecessary and ineffective gun control debate.
Aren鈥檛 we all tired of this by now?
I think Americans can agree, we need a leader who supports the Constitution and stands for the 2nd Amendment.
Let's be clear: disarming more law abiding citizens will not stop mass murderers and terrorists. We should be advocating for more concealed carry ability for law abiding Americans and an end to unconstitutional gun free zones.
It鈥檚 also important that we reform our border security, including refugee and visa programs. While the President paid lip service to this fight, he plans to keep the failed current rules in place and allow tens of thousands of refugees to enter our country.
I couldn't disagree more strongly. Immigration, visas and refugees from countries with active terror networks must have halted while we determine how to better secure our borders and our people.
Finally, we must stop doing the same foolish things overseas that the President advocated for throughout his remarks.
We must stop arming and training allies of ISIS and al Qaeda. We should not double down on this failed and dangerous policy that the President called for tonight. We must arm our allies the Kurds and insist on Arab boots on the ground for our allies in the region.
There are answers here to make our nation safe, but once again the President seems incapable of finding them.
His Administration is focused on gun laws that won't stop terrorists while pushing policies that will let more of them in the country.
It's 100 percent wrong and proves the need for new leadership for our country.
I will lead.
Will you stand with me?
In Liberty,
Rand Paul

As everyone here knows, western society is on a downward spiral. The way I see it, this election is America's absolute last chance to turn things around. If Hilary is elected, we have a dictatorship, hands down, and WWIII will be knocking on our doors in no time. If Sanders or any Republican candidate other than Trump is elected, we will be living in Neo Mexico or Islamistan. Even if Trump wins, there's a good chance he will become a dictator as well. I am convinced that democracy's days are numbered at last, and it's probably for the best.
On a side note, as a fellow forum member said in an earlier post, I would have no problem with Trump becoming a Putin-like figure so long as he remains a strong nationalist figure. Might be the only recourse left for western society.

Commenting on the San Bernadino shooters he said:

As usual, Trump knows what the deal is. This terrorist chump was sexually frustrated and stuck with an uggo, which made it easier to fuel his rage. Heartiste talked about this recently.

I haven't posted much in this thread lately (or on the forum at all, I've been busy), but I wanted to jump in and point out that Trump's proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the country is a watershed moment not just in Trump's campaign, not just in American politics, but in the social history of the country as a whole. This is indicative if just how quickly Trump has shifted the Overton window to the right in the span of just a few months. You didn't even see this kind of rhetoric being thrown out immediately after 9/11. What does this mean? It means that the level of anger and frustration that's been simmering under the surface of a huge swath of "average Americans" is nearing a boiling point. Trump is the only candidate who perceives this - or at least the only candidate willing and able to act on it. With this proposal, he has forced his opponents - Democrats, cuckservatives and the media - into the hopeless position of defending Muslims while they slaughter innocents in terrorist attacks and invade Europe in vast swarms. There are going to be more attacks in the near future by Muslim terrorists, both in the U.S. and Europe. We know this, it's inevitable. And with each attack, Trump goes up in the polls. His opponents will rightfully be perceived as apologists at best, traitors at worst. Soon it's going to become obvious even to the moderates that Trump is the only real choice.
Trump is about to run away with this thing. At this point he can only be stopped with a bullet. I pray that does not happen, because if it does the aftermath will be less like Bobby Kennedy or George Wallace and more like Julius Caesar or Franz Ferdinand.

I agree. Right now it's on a knife edge as to whether the whole climate in politics and society just flips. This is bigger than Trump, but he's the catalyst.

I had posted earlier about a female friend of mine and her boyfriend who are both Bernie Sanders supporters. She had said that if she had the opportunity she would kill Trump herself, and her boyfriend had said that if Trump gets elected he will be assassinated within a year's time. It's very possible he will.
But the leftists better hope not.
If Trump is elected and killed while in office or before taking office, there will be a reckoning the likes of which has never been seen before. The silent majority can only take so much, and if this happens it will most certainly be the straw which finally breaks the camel's back. These are the people who are most being steamrolled by the left: white, heterosexual males like my Uncle who have been divorce raped and his children been turned against him. Christians who are tired of the rampant degeneracy and secularism. Conservatives who are tired of being called bigots, and who at this point frankly no longer care. These are the people who possess the guns and the will to fight. And who will face the backlash? The ones who are most aided by leftism: blacks, Jews, Muslims, women. There will be houses burning, lynchings, rape, and I do mean REAL rape, chaos and devastation.
And it will be their own fault, and there will be no one to save them.
Leftists better hope that Trump is not assassinated. Because whatever he could possibly accomplish in office could not be as bad to them as the fury of millions of God-fearing, well meaning people who simply cannot take any more.

How can you prove one isn't Muslim ?
Put bacon in front of their nostrils ?
Say Ahmed is a pedo ?
Ask them their views on Israel ?
Have them get a lap dance ?

There's some pretty major details that need to be made.
A good start is Muslims without a US passport should be questioned.
Stop playing the victim and help the states out if you don't want to be scrutinized and get these isis rats out of the woodworks and your mosques.
...Problem is that most devout Islamists are already ISIS sympathizer rats if not active supporters.
Actually the process here is simple - systems already exist - Trusted Travelers Database for US Citizens and all others coming in from suspected ISIS vacations or ISIS friendly nations (EU UK ME etc.), scan all pages in their passports, any been on a ISIS Vacation next stop GITMO.
So Headshot NO Burqa - Faceprint, voiceprint reciting from the Quran so as to be culturally sensitive and translate into english ... finger and thumb prints - upload to DHS and FBI facial recognition and NSA SigInt systems and flag alerts to local law enforcement whenever these people are seen moving about in crowded areas with facial recognition systems already in place and scanning. Also track all financial accounts for suspicious purchases - pipe bombs, burner phones as well as their neighbors who the SB islamo-murderers used as straw buyers to buy AR-15s, 9MMs and bulk stockpile ammo for them...
So yes you have to monitor their relatives and extended communities as well - NSA already does this folks no new surprises here expect for Trump shining a spotlight on the problem that the Obamunists have created by refusing to observe existing laws and giving Radical Islamists an Obamunism Hate America First pass.
Sometimes I find America to be a very strange place. I don't understand how people can be OK with this kind of surveillance from the government but NOT be OK with gun control? That makes no sense to me, they're both restricting your "rights".
But back to Trump's comments on banning Muslims. It seems like a populist knee jerk reaction statement that is designed to do nothing other than create headlines. The proposal would not really be effective in preventing terrorism in the short term (those people are most likely already in your country) and as it has been pointed out, how could it be implemented?
Do you block anyone with an Arabic or Muslim sounding name? That's going to block a lot of Coptic and others Christians from middle eastern backgrounds.
Do you block anyone from a Muslim country? So no Indonesian's can visit the US?
What about people like Farook who are US citizens but want to bring family over? Yes if they're from a non-Muslim country but no if they are?
What about "Christian" countries like France that have large Muslim populations? A Muslim French citizen could easily be radicalized, so how would you stop them?
The whole proposal is just not feasible but it is polarizing and guaranteed to generate headlines.
This has probably already been debated ad nauseam in this thread but do people here actually think Trump is electable as President? I can see him getting the GOP nomination (if they actually let him) but the Presidency? I can't see his appeal being wide enough as he'll drive anyone in the political centre to vote Democrat.
