Well but I don't see that Friedmans argument doesn't work. If America imposes tariffs on certain goods, this means that the average American has to pay more for these goods and that it leads to less demand for American goods from abroad.
Or maybe let's talk about some examples. What tariffs would you like to see? Cars? Electronics? Food?
So all Americans have to pay more for these goods in order to provide some with a job.
What about tariffs on bananas? Make it more cheap to produce them in the US and you got some new jobs.
Its interesting how the guy starts raising his voice, since he was trying to regain control of the out of agenda statement. When people raise there voice like that they fear losing control.

I believe this is a reaction post phone-call interview with the Donald.
I like how the other guys' jaws wanted to drop when she began talking against the narrative.
She's got an interesting background. She's a Polish/Czech hybrid which the forum should approve of. When you look at her upbringing and her father's career, the fact that she said what she said is probably grounds for her to get fired from MSNBC confirms one of my suspicions about Trumps comments. Plenty of people on the left know there's a problem, and whether they like it or not, Trump is the only one posing solutions.

It's a free world and you're both entitled to your opinions.
I don't agree with some of the policies his orgs advocate.
But it's easiest to criticize, easy to have an idea, hard to make something real. Like he did. And you?
What did you do?
Plenty of evil men had special, even awe-inspiring personal qualities. So we shouldn't criticise them because they're talented?

They did not consider how international markets could be manipulated to turn groups of people into slaves for the sole benefit of an elite few. I don't know many libertarians who support slavery, so usually when I point out the above analysis they quickly change their opinion on how free trade is supposed to operate.
Let's be honest. Most economists tend to be a bit spergy and they frequently forget to take into account the human factor. An example would be a simple supply and demand graph. Economists ignore the fact that those who fall into the triangle shaped box under the point where the two lines converge, all starve.

Countries, such as China, who refuse to comply will be met with huge tariffs that will force American companies to think long and hard before they start opening up sweat-shops in these countries.
That's probably the real reason why the elites hate him.

Bingo. That's the reason why the elites in both parties are out to get him. They can't come out and say that though, which is why they resort to calling Trump a fascist, racist, bigot, etc.
Nothing makes me sad more than seeing national alternative and anti-globalist movements in Europe try to score points by attacking Donald Trump. It's crazy that any organization that suffers a lot from the globalist media would follow the globalist media claims about Trump and attack him as "primitive", "intolerant" or even a "warmonger".

Donald Trump is threatening America with a promise to put Sarah Palin in his cabinet if he is elected president.
According to Politico, Trump said that he would put Palin his cabinet or seek her advice:
“She’s really somebody who knows what’s happening. She’s a special person. She’s really a special person. And I think people know that and she’s got a following that’s unbelievable,” he
continued. (Palin has more than 4 million Facebook followers.)
“I’m looking at some of these candidates, they’re weak, they’re ineffective and to a degree that’s almost hard to believe. And, you know, they like the Sarah Palin kind of strength. You just don’t see very much of it anymore,” Trump mused.
He noted that Palin has come up in his interactions on the campaign trail. “I’ve still got people saying, ‘Oh, get Sarah’s support, get Sarah’s support.’ No matter where I go, everybody loves her.”
There are only two things that Sarah Palin has ever been good at, and they are failing and quitting. If America did not have enough of a reason to vote against Donald Trump, the idea of Palin serving in a presidential cabinet should be enough to scare voters away in droves.
The Trump circus is an out of control joke that has now added Sarah Palin as a featured clown. It is impossible to imagine Donald Trump’s cabinet because this man is never going to be elected president. It is natural that two phonies who have been playing Republicans for years with empty bluster and cartoonish behavior would team up to suck all of the oxygen out of the 2016 campaign.
Just when voters thought that the Republican primary could get less intelligent, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump have teamed up form the ultimate dumb Republican dream team.
This Sheik Al Waleed Bin Talal al Saud ISIS loving and funding scum bag is the same one who tried to give Rudy Giuliani a check for $10M after the 9-11 Towers collapsed along with a lecture of how you (Giuliani, NYC and USA) need to be more sensitive to the feelings of the Saudis and with the 19 Hijackers who attacked US due to a lack of cultural sensitivity of Muslims and the Saudi protectors of the faith by the USA. Al Waleed is still hated in NYC ...
Giuliani on live TV told him to take his $10M blood money Check and basically stuff it and GTFO of his City...

The problem with free trade as libertarians preach it, is that it is an utopian ideology. It stretches far beyond scope of economy.
Any economy that isn't totally utilitarian, stripped of any religious rituals (DONT TOUCH MUH FREE MARKET), has some kind of ideology ingrained into it. Hence we name them, socialism, capitalism, whatever.
Purpose of economy is to serve people. Since people are by their nature wicked and imperfect, so is their economy. To imagine an infallible economic system in an world filled with crime, war, fraud, corruption is the next most stupid thing in the world after communism.
Point is, don't meddle in free market as long as the benefit outweighs the cost. If cost becomes too high (huge income gaps, corporations becoming stronger than state, interests of corporation hurting population such as waste, global warming, oil prices), then intervene and fix the problem.

And everyone who is responsible will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Dick Cheney and the other scourge like you.... I am looking right at you."
He could put Joe Arpaio as the head of FBI. That would freak the hell out of Obama and co.
Halliburton I read makes like $100 each time a soldier washed his uniform. No wonder he was so for sending troops to Iraq. (Cheney). He is the war criminal.

She might be dumb but she is not any dumber than other knobs in the cabinet. Put her in charge of the EPA and roll back some regs.

Leaders, which leaders?
They are bureaucrats, custodians, administrators, officials, functionaries and magistrates.
They don´t inspire their people, command neither respect nor loyalty.
They are rulers.
But certainly not leaders.
As if the donald would pay for an anorexic granny who shops at Plato’s closet to be his newest arm candy. Lol, Even Ivana has held up better than the alaskan skank.
I never got the hatred for Palin, but I never got the love for her either.
I understood it in 2008, because the sense was that she was a conservative whereas John McCain was a liberal, and so everyone was happy to have an actual conservative on the ticket. But now? Who cares about her?
