I have literally started to debate almost everyone with this one picture since it fits so many things - no need to discuss with them anyway. If someone wants to change his mind, then he may doubt a bit, but researches more, though most won't anyway:

I don't know of a better argument for repealing the 19th Amendment other than being forced to watch that video. Simply put, too many women are too emotional (not that emotion is always a bad thing, just not when it comes to civic responsibility) to be trusted to vote intelligently.

Exceptional chess move. Poach of your competitors for talent they don't even know they had. This is common in sports with GMs poaching prospects for washed up talent that has the big name.

Tulsi was the fresh new blood the Democrats needed and represented the new progressivesite quite well. Trump brings her on his side to bring real change a day she won't pass it up. He now slows down her burn towards going against him in 2020 while also getting more credibility as a centrist. Democrats also get poached leaving them with nothing.

Berne Sanders looks even more silly not trying to link with Trump now as well.

Short of shutting down the entire internet the people will find a way to connect and their world views will be vindicated. But given it usually takes 3-5 years for an economic recovery to occur, I don't think the recovery gains will occur between 2018 and now. He needs to make a strong gesture against people like the Clintons or else Trump will demoralize his base.

"All talk, no action." Democrats will use it against him relentlessly in 2018. Mid-term elections are for the base - not regular people - if you don't have an energized base then you're fucked. Look at what happened to Obama in 2010.

I don't think the Democrats would want to badger Trump or Republicans over why they didn't prosecute Hillary, That would make them look ridiculously stupid and be a huge admission of guilt on their former leader's head.

"Why haven't you prosecuted Hillary yet President Trump? You know she's crooked, we know she's Crooked, and the republicans haven't done enough to lock her up!"

Trump could just say "If you think she should be prosecuted so badly why haven't you Dems done that yourselves yet in the last decade? I've got work to do, MAGA."

I think this is true as well. It's incredibly easy for someone a year from now to start talking about "new evidence" they found, and all of a sudden the case is back open.

If this does not happen, however, I don't think it will hurt Trump at all. Trump has the most energized base in the history of the republic, and the idea that they're going to suddenly abandon him over something that was never a serious priority strikes me as far-fetched. Look at all the good-will he gained from his base just for that stunt with CNN yesterday. You think someone who's slavering over the thought of CNN and MSNBC being called onto the carpet is going to drop him over a decision not to throw Hillary in jail? Anybody who cares about that stuff already loves him way too much. I also can't see the Democrats using, "He didn't throw the democratic candidate for president in jail, ergo you shouldn't vote for him" as a serious tactic. Hillary will be old, old news by 2018. No one will care.

The 2018 elections, if they're not driven by some unknown event that we can't foresee (Invasion of Canada, anyone?), will center around the economy, health insurance, and to some lesser degree immigration. Clinton's name won't come up any more than Al Gore's name came up in 2002, or John Kerry's in 2006.
