She is a moron. Especially funny how she lives in New York and does not understand Trump has been in many positions not always to get what he wants. Trump wanted to build the tallest building in the world and failed three times to do so via a number of factors from public pushback, market fallout, etc.

As a developer to make money, you have to dodge land mines at every level or the process. First, you have to win over rabid community groups stuff filled with rich or overzealous ass holes to make sure your project gets approved. Next, City Hall will fuck with you and put up mountains of red tape and zoning you have to dance around and try to massage to make your deal work. Plus, you have to get contractors and vendors not to fuck you over and get stuff done on time.

All of these steps have the potential to self-combust and fuck you over. An excellent idea with a solid plan with tons of money pumped into due-diligence and planning with a great ROI planned out can burn into flames from a bunch of salty grandmas who don't want their views ruined.

Trump has seen many projects die out of forces he can't control and has also been able to massage and maneuver all of these forces to get something done. I can't think of a better testing ground of having to deal with both public and Govt mechanics than doing RE development in Manhattan, one of the most cutthroat environments for this on earth.

If that little boy wanted me to listen to his whinging he wouldn't have had Ivanka clips playing in the background the whole time.

Donald Trumps first major victory was annihilating the rotting power structure of the Republican party.

The GOP was all but dead before Trump became the nominee. Rubio, Cruz, Carson, Ryan and Kasich were old guard, born of the GOP machine that consistently saw defeat, over and over again. The party was all but over had any of these men became the nominee. Hillary would have surely won had they been nominee.

I gave up on being a card carrying conservative during the George Bush administration. How he handled the post 9/11 America is a complete and utter shame. How the economy was decimated is his greatest legacy. Beyond the destroyed economy, pointless war and not getting true justice for 9/11, the true legacy of cuckservatives was protecting Dennis Hastert, the darkest and lowest point the GOP ever reached.

I worked on the Bush campaign in a battleground state during his first election. Being a child of the 80's I could have a Reagan chest tattoo, more than anything I believed in politicians who promoted the conservative ideals of smaller government, safe streets and self reliance. But somewhere along the way that message was lost among the loud voices and open pockets of religious zealots, corporate influence and "compassionate conservatism". Somewhere along the way I became uninvolved and uninspired by politics no more.

If Trump accomplished one thing this week, it was sending these blackberry carrying tools back to their local Brooks Brothers figuring out where they should work next. Hopefully they never go back into politics.

I'm 5/8 Scandinavian, 1/8 German, 1/4 Pennsylvania Scots-Irish (not real Scots Irish), which is a pretty good mimic of his ancestry (our eyes for example are quite similar). I joke that I could get away with claiming that I'm Trump's short and ugly nephew.
