Yep I noticed that, the pound dropped quite alot recently too and was expecting to get raped on the exchange rate once again but this balanced it out to its usual 5-6 zloty to the pound.

On the surface, from a daygame perspective, the cities are somewhat similar, though Szczecin is obviously smaller. The differences seem minor, but here are a few I picked up on:

So would you say that Szczecin trumps Berlin as a gaming location, be it daygame or nightgame?

Hehe. Remember, that was relative to Gdansk, not to the girls. Relative to the girls, in my opinion, the guys are dating at about their level or slightly better, which is true for most of Poland. In other words, it's not like the West, where guys date down relative to the girls, but it's not like the FSU, where guys date up relative to the girls.

@Feldeinsamkeit - I've never been to Berlin, but I have been to Leipzig and Frankfurt. Szczecin trumps both of those for daygame. I don't nightgame much, but it's known that Poland is daygame / house party territory. If nightgame is your thing, Berlin and Germany may be more fruitful, since I've read on the forum that that's where the action is in Germany.

It's been 4 years since roosh created this thread. However since then it seems a lot has changed in Poland with regards to women. Is the atmosphere still as positive toward foreign men as in this video below? Or are we at the point were the anglosphere and EE are starting to converge in this respect?

IMO, it's still better than the Anglosphere.

Also note that some other EE places, like Ukraine, are less Westernized.

A quick one about Warsaw. Does anyone know or can recommend a bar in the nowy swiat / old city area that is amenable to escalation - ie lots of comfy couches where you can sit beside the girl and escalate rather than sit across or too far away from her? Having lots of dates at the moment so this kind of Intel would be super helpful

Check Foksal street, if I recall there is nice places in this street. As well in the cross road of Nowy Swiat and Chmielna.

Due to the migrant crisis I decided to cut my stay in newcastle UK short and just permanently relocate to poland asap. I now live here and am transitioning smoothly.

A word of advise to those who make their money in the UK and want to relocate to Poland, to avoid paying tax in both countries (ie country of work + country of residence) there is a double taxation agreement between the UK and Poland. This means that if you apply to this you only have to pay tax in one of these countries, I have not completed my application yet but this seems to be a legal necessity for those who work location independent.

But I haven't noticed that many migrants kicking around in Newcastle. Is this your main reason for wanting to relocate to Poland, may I ask?

They have made it as far as Leeds last I checked. However immigration continues while nothing is being done about it.

I dont want to stick around for when shit hits the fan, I was gonna stay in Newcastle for a year but after November I just started looking for someone to take my tenancy I just wanted out asap.

The west is far gone for me, Id have actually moved to Hungary had I not already started learning Polish. It worked out in the end though Poland elected the PiS who are anti immigration and pro nationalism so they might prove as good a leadership as Viktor Orban.

I'm still considering a move to central Europe, too, although I'm more concerned with the issue of increasing misandry in the UK than with immigration at the moment, I must admit. How do you find the dating market in Poland in comparison to Newcastle?

I find it good albeit limited until my polish gets better. English fluency sucks here so it helps to learn the language as much as possible.

Still dont have a proper rental until the 15th march, until then chilling in my AirBnB, I'll post what I end up going with but otherwise then I'll have to wait till the 15th to test your recommendation.

Ended up going with Millennium, no residency card asked for and can make foreign transfers so I'm good with that.

Edit: Also for foreign transfers of cash between accounts im using TransferWise, it will save you tons of money on international transfers for anyone out there who needs to do the same shit as me.

I will be in Poznan from tomorrow (23rd Feb) until Sunday. Has anyone been recently that can give me any heads up so I don't waste any time?

As I type this I am sat in a bar on the main square in Poznan. I landed 3 hours ago and this town is like a ghost town. When someone makes a noise I want to tell them to keep the noise down.

I spoke to a hot bar maid in the Londoner pub (ironic) and she said that's where it's at tonight (Tuesday) and also Club 22 but she said not to bother as its too pretentious now.

They do make sense, but likely not in the way you want. My guesses, in order of importance:

1) I see a lot of elderly women (and men) walking around during the day in Poland. They're probably not in the workforce. My perception is that this observation explains a good chunk of the statistics you're seeing, along with point 2.

2) I've met girls in Poland who've worked elsewhere in the EU. With easier access to better pay in certain parts of the EU, working-age Poles are more likely to leave their country for work than other Slavs, including the Czechs. (As an aside, the working-age Belarusians probably go to Russia to work, since I believe they have similarly easy access to the relatively higher pay there.)

3) Girls 15-23 are less likely to be in the workforce, since they're likely studying.
