Main place in Kyoto you'll wanna go for nightgame is around Kiyamachi, and generally the area near Sanjo, Shijo, Gion. That's wear the main nightlife of the city is.

As far as clubs are concerned, Kyoto kinda sucks. The main nightlife is to be found in Osaka, mainly Namba and Umeda. Kyoto is pretty good for daygame, though, particularly in the places mentioned above. If you wanna try nightgame in Kyoto, the only clubs I've been to are Ibiza and another club closeby whose name I can't remember. The latter has pretty good quality, but I've only been there twice for short visits. Butterfly is also supposed to have good quality, but I've never been there. Scotch should be able to provide more info on that place. All of the clubs mentioned here are in Kiyamachi.

For foreigner-friendly and/or English-friendly places, you can try out the Hub and a place called Zaza. These places are kind of hit and miss. I've been there several times, half the time with Scotch and the other half rolling solo. Sometimes you find some good prospects, other times it's all 5-ish girls. Kyoto can also be a pretty good place to insta-date, as well, if you live close by enough. There are also lots of students inhabiting the city from various parts of Japan, most of whom are enrolled to Ritsumeikan and Doshisha Universities.

Nara, on the other hand, doesn't have much of a nightlife from what I know. Other than tourist attractions and deer, it's mainly a sleepy little town with little going on. I can't say much about daygame in Nara, as I haven't done much of it there. Most girls from Nara go to Osaka to party, though.

Kyoto is a sleepy town compared to the debauchery of Osaka and even Kobe.

Flamingo maybe good, as is Metro. I'll go there soon, so I'll report on that.
World is horrible some nights good others. But all these places be prepared to deal with shitty music and the same top 40 crap played over and over and over. And lots of scratching, like they have just discovered. This for butterfly and Ibiza.

Japanese djs are really terrible on average... But when they are good, man, it's pure poetry. Cf FPM. . .

And the girls are pretty goody two shoes unless you speak the nihongo. Then game can do wonders for you, gaijin.

I went to see their once a month famous and old running 'diamonds are forever' night. . . It's a head scratcher. Excellent music, from disco to reworked today's hits (to fit into disco theme) but the show itself it's weird.... Think transvestite show, but where don't even try to look feminine, rather over the top caricatures. Kinda like clowns trying to be sexy women... Just weird. Good vibes all around though, and the young chick I was with seemed to get a kick out of it, so what do I care.

The place itself is not much to look at, so your mileage may vary. The show itself is, well, interesting.

I've had that a few times. Usually I will just schedule the date and go radio silence until the day, unless they text first. There are lots of majime women working long hours and looking forward to her date with you in two weeks. And even if they are meeting a FB in the meantime, it's not like I care anyway. They still will show up on the date.

In one case when a particularly cute college student tried to schedule a month out, I texted something that framed me as a player who would be meeting lots of girls in the meantime. (Of course coming across playfully, not butt-hurt.) It worked, she wanted to reschedule sooner.

You can play it slow. 2weeks - 1month is pretty normal for Japan. But you are right, the sooner the better. Yes you are losing out on bangs with these "maybe next month" girls. I had so many line contacts built up that every month I would just text "how was your weekend." Girls from as far back as 3-4months ago would respond and only when they showed up for a date did I remember them.

If I get a "maybe next month" j-girl I don't text anything back. I just make a mental note to myself to mass text one weekend in future.

Before I was married several times my friends and I had girls schedule dates one or two months in advance. The flake rate on those was about the same as same week dates. I think some girls schedule out so far in advance because so many social group/family commitments fill up their available weekends.

By the way, lately, when I've been walking around Tokyo I've been practicing smirking at every girl who walks by. I think it works fairly well because it's not as confrontational as full-out smiling. About one in ten will smirk back, sometimes without making eye contact, which I still think is an IOI. Anyway, I'm always in too much of a hurry to stop and approach, which I need to start doing.

Your instincts are correct. She is bringing her wife-to-be game. I have dated several girls like this. In fact, they are my bread and butter. I love these girls.

On the bright side, at least she is young so you have some time to lead her on for a while. The older ones don't wait around long. This is a tricky one. Personally, I just go along with the day they suggest but make sure the time and place are bolted down. You never know what they might have going on and better to respect that - as long as she turns up, you are probably getting laid.

Before I got married, I had four regulars and three semi-regulars in my harem. I only went out looking when none of those seven were available to meet up. I found it very enjoyable because I didn't see any of them often enough for it to get stale. I probably would have kept it up indefinitely if other circumstances had not intervened. Interestingly, after I announced to the other six that I was getting married (I married one of the semi-regulars), four of them made it fairly clear that they were willing to keep seeing me after the marriage.

Doesn't surprise me. That housewife I banged last year was the same age. There are quite a few women here who get married and have kids early.
