Trying to get back to japan for years without blowing up my career. Can we get a definitive list of USA government websites and federal contractor jobs for overseas bases in Korea japan and Germany?

These jobs are the equivalent of a James Bond life style or the British raj

Start with doing a "Japan" keyword search on indeed.com
That will bring up a few contractor positions.
Other than that, Serco, Vectrus, SAIC, KBR
Plus USAJOBS, DOD non-appropriated fund jobs

It's important to focus on specific skillsets that will get you there. Once you find a mutual match between skills companies or US government is hiring for in Japan then target people working to try and get a internal referral. Cold messaging on LinkedIn works if you spend time researching which roles and skills they need to boost their performance. Yes even for government jobs this works because if the individual you contact can get your resume to the Hiring Authority then you maybe able to make to the final 10-15 resumes that get referred versus hoping to get picked from the mystery box that is USA Jobs.

What skills and experiences do you have OP?

Isnt Japanese culture very closed off against westerners? I've heard nothing but bad things about that place.

Can you elaborate on the protocol for the individual to get the resume to the hiring authority? I assumed it had to get through HR and jobs.gov first.
