Anyone watch Game of Thrones?

The scenes with Cersei were excellent tonight, some of the best the series has had.
I really hope stormcunt dies in the end and we don't get the corny Jon and Dany on the throne story line.
Littlefinger needs to forget about Sansa and start getting back to playing the game. He should've killed Jon during the battle with Ramsey.
What's Euron going to do now?
This show really needs another 2-3 full seasons to finish off, I really hope they don't cut them short like i've heard is going to happen.
Very strong episode. Many things went down. Great cliffhangers. Lots of questions but left the season on a high note.
Last week's episode had me wanting to stop watching the series altogether (mostly due to grrrl power and Jon Snow continuing to act like an idiot).
Tonight's was great though, and well done throughout the whole thing. The stretch of scenes leading up to the explosion were fantastic . . . and Cersei's "shame . . . shame" was well played.
Like some of the guys who already posted, I also immediately noticed the different feel and music in the first half.

Next season will kick off with overwhelming grrl power. Dany, the Sand bitches, Old lady Tyrell, a eunuch, and a midget who falls in love with whores. They're being taxied by a bull dyke and her eunuch brother. Cersei on the throne, which is the weakest it's been in forever. Dany is a piece of shit. I really hope she dies. I really hope they don't wrap it up with her and John Snow getting together, because as we all know, she'll be the queen before he's the king.

The way they've set up Dany's character, she'd kill Jon in his sleep. She's only shown loyalty to the rough dude who destroyed her vag.
So much for the Tyrell master plan, I need to watch it all again to digest it all. Good episode.
But my first thought is that this severely weakens the Westeros monarchy even further and makes them even more ripe for Dany to invade and take over.
I wonder what LF is thinking...Sansa got straight up leapfrogged even without the reveal.
Also what is up with Varys borrowing LF's teleportation machine? In fact Varys and Dany have never met before, what happened to that conversation?
Regardless, Daario = Vary = Euron = Arya = Jaquen = Syrio confirmed.
Spoilers
I don't get why Arya went after the Frey's before the Lannisters. But ah well. And why are the sand Snakes even back on the show? To kill off the rest of the Lannisters? They are working with Varys, and apparently Dany by association.
I wonder how long Cercei's reign will last, can't be very long.
I also don't get why Benjen didn't chop off Bran's hand at the wrist to get rid of the mark. Either he is working for the Night's King, or he very stupid. I have to think he is not doing a double cross, because all double crosses have been dropped from the show.
That was pretty damn good! I got to say, the woman who plays Cerci is a solid actress. She plays that role perfect.

Benjen might not know about the mark on Bran's arm? Which doesn't really make sense since you figured they'd have a conversation about why they were on the run, where the three-eyed raven was, etc. The first answer is Bran talking about the vision, the mark, and the breaking of the protection seal and that's that.
In which case, Benjen as a double agent would make sense & is something I hadn't really considered. If the only way for the Night's King to get south is by Bran going there, he gives him the illusion of getting away and uses the only agent at his disposal that Bran would trust to take him there.
....though that's a bit of a risky venture considering the hordes of skeletons and wights bearing down on him with the full intention of murder.
...........and Benjen talking about the magical protection on the wall should enlighten Bran that he's going to fuck things up like he did in the cave.
In the end we'll need to chalk this up to so much on the show nowadays: bad writing.

Go after the low hanging fruit and work your way up to the top. Easier to kill a Frey than a Lanister. Besides, her list should only have a few people left at this point. I'm curious to see if she heads north or south.
The sand bitches are back so there can be several episodes of unadulterated grrl power next year. But an alliance of women is like herding cats.
Cersei's reign will last until Jaime takes it upon himself to kill her.
They didn't have to chop off Bran's arm. I think we all know the wall is coming down regardless.

Great episode, solid observations.
Whereas the other characters feel real and project their growth and experiences from episode to episode (credit to solid acting) Dany sucks because she's so bland and one note (shame, shame, shame on poor acting). That she's being used by the feminist agenda makes it even worse.
It'll be interesting to see what I presume next season will be a battle in the north with the white walkers, juxtaposed against a battle in the south v the invasion. Any predictions for the first main character to die next season?
Spoiler
Great episode but it took me a long time to get through. I kept going back to Tommen's death scene to masturbate

So why the big plot to kill Pycelle? He was heading off to the trial to be blown up with the rest anyway, and if he had survived that by luck, it's not like he would have been an immediate threat to Cersei. The guy's a nonentity.

That was personal. He want to enjoy Pycelle's death. Watch it in person.
Those Dragons going to fly for several months straight over an ocean?
With the freys gone, the Starks hold on the north is total and complete.
I wonder how long Arya Stark will stay in stealth mode? Operating behind the scenes without Jon and Sansa's knowledge.
What is Littlefinger countermoves to all of these: Dany, Varys, Jon Snow, Tyrells, etc? Littlefinger cannot penetrate Dany's circles with Varys and Tyrion holding guard. I cannot imagine Tyrell breaking off the alliance with Dany and the Sand Snakes(forged by Varys)-- they have undying hatred of the Lannisters. Speaking of which, The Lannisters are soo fucked. Enemies on all sides. The Starks wants the Lannisters dead, total and gone. Same for Dorne. Same for Tyrells. Same for Targaryens.
I was glad to see Tommen go. The weakness of his character was so bad, it had me wishing for his brother to return. The actor also looks like he has a malformed head. Although his chin isn't recessed, it's not pronounced either, and his head looks like a volleyball. His bloodline clearly didn't receive the much needed infusion of American DNA during WW2.

If you look at a map of "The Known World", and we know that Dany and her people are headed for Dorne, that's a journey they could make without ever losing sight of land except for when they cross the narrow sea itself which is quite narrow.
Remember, Varys traveled from Mereen to Dorne, and back to Mereen in the course of 2 episodes. It seems like it should be far, but it really isn't.

Fantasy and real world intersects here. The narrow sea is based on the english channel. It's supposed to be the fantasy equivalent which separates massively different cultures.
Only difference is that the GoT equivalent of the european continent comes pre-pozzed with lots of semitic and moorish looking people already living there. So you could say that the continent outside of westeros is a blend of african/arab/semitic. The Dothraki are based on a blend of huns, saracen, and mongols.
Westeros is a blend of the european main continent and primarily England. The Wildlings are obviously based on Vikings. Dornish = southern europeans.

Whether or not Benjen is a double agent, the Night King must want Bran to get past the wall. It would explain why the WWs never caught up to them. There were hundreds coming and Benjen fought off less than a dozen. Then nothing. It's like the Falcon leaving the Death Star, they're being tracked.
