With all this talk about he's authoritarian/literally Hitler, I almost wish we were in a right wing fascist state. Media would be jailed en masse, bankers would be exiled, white liberals would be banished to Canada and other white majority countries that they want to run to, Mexican/Central American illegal invasion would be turned back (Imagine how easy Operation Wetback 2 would be).

Both balkanization and secession are pretty much baked in at this point. The country is going to become increasingly polarized around racial identities. If we were to make a deal like that, we should get the full $25 billion funding for the wall, and some changes to immigration law as well, regarding chain migration, and the ability for border control to kick illegals right back over the border immediately with no rights to a hearing if they didn't apply ahead of time.

It's not like they can't access the internet to file an application. If the law provided for instant repatriation upon capture, and asylum was only available if they applied online before reaching the US, then human rights groups would make sure they have internet access to apply before reaching the US.

We need a hard core deal to control and reduce immigration before we give up and accept that these DACA kids that grew up here as illegals will be allowed to stay.

LDN, I think criticism in that regard is not directed at migration and flooding the West, but more directed at the total incompatibility between a marital partner/children and "race realism"/"muh-IQ"/"racial superiority" theories. The former makes perfect sense and is not hypocritical at all, but the latter is a lot harder to reconcile.

To be fair, I don't see you obsessing about race/IQ in every thread like some other posters so I don't think it's fair to attack you on that point unless you yourself bring it up like with that comment about TLOZ.

I think Michael Cohen was the source for the Buzzfeed article. I think he might be a compulsive or pathological liar. We have had enough guys on this forum to know when dealing with one of these types. I have ran into several in corporate America as well. I still have yet to see one not eventually get fired or walked out. The examples here is Nasa Test Pilot and his clones and cronies.

I highly doubt Trump or members of his family are so fucking stupid to witness tamper by talking to him at any amount. My lawyer would never let me speak to him if he and I were tangled up in something.

The reason why I say this is because I think one of the reasons Mueller is taking too long is because of Cohen and his information. Cohen is going to prison for lying to the FBI, fraud, and tax issues. He pleaded guilty to the lying to work out a deal, if I recall correctly.

Here is the issue. This is not a dope case. Trump and Cohen are not drug dealers. Dope dealers and other non white collar criminals lie all the time on each other and they usually always still get the full sentence.

Cohen has massive credibility issues. In something this high profile, great defense lawyers can attack poor credibility if your only witness is a habitual or pathological liar that is going to the can for lying to investors.

So even if Trump is likely safe in an actual criminal court case, he is very vulnerable to this guy because he is saying anything with reckless abandon. Impeachment is a political matter but if Mueller team has been tail chasing every stupid lie Cohen has made, this could run another year. Also if he tells congress the same things they will want to use it for new investigations on the same matters, unless Mueller’s final report ever comes out and debunks it. Cohen could also tell them new lies to force more calls to Mueller to reopen or add to the investigation.

This is a circus.

Either way the House will run impeachment once the government reopens, won't matter if Mueller has something or Cohen gives them new lies to chase. The Democrats will look super stupid but that isn't the issue. We are not going to get new converts and we are losing the demographic war. Doesn't look good fellas but it is far from over.

Republicans need to quit saying they need 60 votes in the Senate for a bill passage. Only a simple majority is needed. Make the Democrats filibuster a bill that would re-open the government.
