Hope a few of you got in on that while they were around, I was on the target website, looking to see if they were going to restock the nuka cola and saw a related ad for the pip boy edition of the fo4 game from the target ebay vendor. I was astounded that they were actually selling them.

It's just a repackaging of a berry lemonade drink with fo4 nuka cola quantum labeling. Target is selling the nuka cola quantums for $3, the resale on ebay is just silly, $50 a bottle. I would want to buy one, drink it, put it on my shelf next to the pip boy as a neato keepsake.

Supposedly they will restock the nuka cola's. They should absolutely market the hell out of this, I'm surprised we haven't seen more of this sort of thing with gaming products in the past.

Can't really say I have a thing for those kinds of collectibles. I remember I got a Fallout 3 lunchbox, but that's only because I bought a physical copy and was offered that one for the same price as the regular version if I recall correctly.

The only time I've bought a game collectible was when I got the $150 version of Halo: Reach to get that statue thing. Sat in my room and collected dust. Was a waste. Never doing anything like that again.

Games are games, but physical collectibles cost money, take up space, collect dust, and are mostly useless. I prefer to be a minimalist. Plus you'll end up throwing it out. And let's be honest, they're a little beta. No point in wasting your money on them. But that's just my debbie downer opinion.

The only game I've ever paid more than the standard price for was Halo 5, but that's because I've always said I'd get a collectors edition of a Halo game and I'm a bit of a Halo nut.

Agree that it's a waste of money, unless you're obsessed with the game of purchase. I'd never buy a collectors edition of FIFA or CoD but that's just me - I know my brother does (because they're the games he plays the most).

Oh, absolutely. And As my avatar on here suggests, I am somewhat obsessed with fallout. I missed out on the pip boy 3000 clock that was part of the survival edition of fallout 3.

This pip boy could actually be used as a costume piece for halloween, just get a fallout vault 111 shirt, wear the pip boy, and that is a decent costume.

The only other game gear I have is a resident evil 4 chainsaw controller.

   

I had to pass on the fallout 4 loot crate, it had a brotherhood of steel flag, a nuka cola poster, some bottlecaps, a hoodie, a plushie of the dog, looked really underwhelming. If it had some hellfire armor and an enclave helmet, I might have bit.

   

Since I am posting deals on this stuff, here is a black friday deal from dell.com for the xbox one system, the fallout 4 game, 2 controllers, and the gears of war bundle. Sell the controller and the games on ebay and you can have an xbox one system for about a hundred fifty bucks. Not bad at all.

Well it only took me three rounds to rediscover what I already know about Halo.... its super gay. It takes way to many shots to kill someone. The out come of half the modes is dependent on who captures the powerful weapon spawns. Gayest game I have ever bought, and I once bought a computer game called "I <3 wieners in my mouth"

Also I lost the mouth piece for my headset so I couldn't tell Goldhawkstar that the right trigger shoots... I feel like I need a protein shake and foam roll after carrying his weight around those last two rounds.

I would trade Gaylo 5 for the new COD in a heart beat if it were possible. I would trade it for a broken in two, scratched, and pissed on copy of Mid Night Club for the PS2 and I don't even have PS2.

Whats up with the crazy HP bloat in Fallout 4? I can empty a 30 round magazine into an unarmored woman's face and she'll just tank it and start wailing on me with a tire iron. This is really immersion breaking, hopefully a major rebalance mod comes out soon.

A few thoughts after playing with Cr33pin:

-Overshields shouldn't exist in Team Doubles.
-Fuel Rods shouldn't exist in Team Doubles.
-Our emblems were bright and gay. We did a fine job representing RVF.
-I have a game for him that he should play instead that's made for people like him who can't play video games:

At least on normal difficulty that only seems to be an issue with the boss enemies with a skull next to their health bar. Are you keeping your weapons upgraded with new mods along the way, or replacing weapons with better ones?

I'm level 19, 30 hours played (I kind of wish the save game names didn't include played time, it's a scarily addictive game), and particularly tonight I'm starting to run into some pretty nasty enemies.
Had one boss fight on a side quest where I eventually gave up on my small arms, mines and molotov cocktails and went back to get my T-60 power armor and a missile launcher. Still took five or six missiles, and some minigun and flamethrower fire to take him down.

I was planning on ending the night with taking over a settlement on the East coast. Once again leaving power armor and heavy weapons at home. After disabling plasma and nuke(!) mines, I got my ass blasted off by 5-6 enemies with strong radiation weapons (first time I've come across those so far).

Still so many parts of the map I haven't set foot on yet, supposedly joinable factions I've heard about by haven't even met yet, and I'd be surprised if I'm more than a fourth of the way through the main story line (if I am then it's pretty damn short).

After playing Gaylo 5 this morning I noticed when I went out for my morning cup of coffee I wasn't finding these tiny thin feminine Asian girls cute... But the little Asian boys were looking extra doable. I'm fraid just three rounds of Gaylo has turned me queer. I bought the new COD BLOPS III hoping to reverse this homoism.... Wish me luck brothers.

Also if you dont like penis in or around your mouth, aka don't play Halo. An have a Xbone and COD shoot me a dick pic... I mean private message with your gamer fagg... I mean tag!!! Damn it, I'm getting gay

Yea, I was playing on the second hardest setting, turned it down to normal now.

I usually like playing on hard but if harder just means more health there's no point.

What's the RVF approved faction choice? I've been going Brotherhood of Steel so far and purging the Commonwealth of degenerates.

I am having disgusting amount of fun with FortressCraft Evolved! and Fractured Space nowdays. I can recommend them highly.

FortressCraft Evolved! is a tower defense/open world crafting game. I love those games which are highly complex and you can plan automated factories/defense installations.

I am having the most epic space battles in Fractured Spaces ever. That game is a heaven for those who like huge battleships and Sci-fi. This is the first space game where they did the capital ship battles right. I always hated fighting with a small space fighter, give me the big guns dammit. My prayers were answered finally.

Just fired up a new party in this PS1 classic:



This game might be better than FF7. The gameplay, the music and the plot line (translation issues aside) puts this game in a class all by itself.

For those who have played: I definitely made sure to have ninjas before the end of Chapter 1. Ran an assload of randoms at Mandalia plains.

I knew a kid in junior high who got to level 50 running randoms at Mandalia plains. Ran them all before he went to Igros Castle for the first time. Probably logged over 35 hours pwning goblins, red panthers and chocobos. Reminds me of that South Park episode where they level up in WoW beating up on hogs in the woods. Lol -- misspent youth.

Built a massive wall around my settlement that would make Trump proud, with only one door leading in and out manned by turrets and border patrol, and then what happens? The raiders and super mutants just spawn inside the wall during attacks. What the fuck Bethesda?

I even did an experiment where I corralled everyone into the center of town and built a tiny pen around them, the raiders spawned INSIDE the pen with them. This game has a lot of stuff that needs to be modded.

I just downloaded the Black Mesa mod, which is a complete modern re-haul of the original Half Life game. Lots of fun so far. Here is a link to the free download. I don't think you need any prior download. Another tip-- Half-Life 2 is $3 on Steam right now.

None of my settlements have been attacked yet in over 30 hours (although I'm having trouble attracting more settlers anyway - still only 10 in the largest, despite resources, defense and recruitment tower).
From what I've read as long as your defenses are reasonably high and include some turrets, raids don't stand much of a chance anyway.

Meanwhile on another note, combat has suddenly started becoming a lot more difficult for me around level 18 and 19 (still playing on the same difficulty level, normal). My weapons are reasonably upgraded so it seems to be a mix more difficult enemies spawning now - both human(oid) and creatures, and perhaps exploring some areas that are supposed to be more difficult.
I've been getting my ass kicked exploring the Eastern side of the map and trying to take over a few settlements there. Looks like I might need to come back in power armor. Latest incident - after yesterday's massive assault on me by radiation weapons - was taking out three fairly high level humans, only to have a mirelurk hunter burrow out of the ground and absolutely slaughter me while I was backpedaling and trying to find a weapon that could actually do much damage to it.
Investing more in agility and VATS related perks might prove useful after the mid game.

Just saw something pretty cool. Three BoS vertibirds - plus a few ground troopers - attacking a factory occupied by super mutants. In poor advertisement for the Brotherhood, two of the vertibirds crashed into the ground. I'm not 100% sure if it was from gun fire or questionable AI.

If your defenses values are higher than your combined resource values, raiders won't bother.

They remade this game for psp as well. I think you can get it pretty cheap on amazon. From what I remember everything is the same.

A couple notes for the Halo 5 squad.

• The Big Team Battle playlist is speculated to go live tomorrow. Warzone is cool and all, but I'm long overdue on some classic 8v8 action. They're throwing in four forged maps which is a bit of a disappointment as there are no legitimate dedicated big-team maps as of now. But I'm sure that may come in a future DLC. And this way we'll get a peek at the new forge canvases.
• If anyone's curious, I found out today that the max spartan rank is 152. Even more interesting, the experience points required to level up drastically slope up in the hundreds. For example, it takes the same amount of experience points to go from SR1 to SR120 as it does going from SR146 to SR147. Needless to say, the max rank will always be something to work towards but will probably never be achieved (by most); unlike Halo 4 when I reached the top rank with ease just months in. This is a good thing.

Man I'd better be getting something good with those promotion packs into the hundreds then! I'd be seriously peeved if I reached rank SR147 from SR146 and was rewarded with even more Needlers!

With Fallout 4 I was completing a quest with the Minutemen, kind of like the final mission for them. Came upon a huge enemy that was pretty hard to kill. Had no power armour with me since I left it back at Sanctuary, so struggle with health. Not even my missile launcher made much of a dent, and that takes time to reload so I kept dying and dying and dying. Had the brainwave of laying down bottlecap mines in the enemy's path, but it's ranged attacks either killed me, or hit the bottlecap mines...which killed me.

Eventually killed the bugger but it didn't autosave, so when I went on to try to finish the quest and some Legendary enemy spawns and kills me...I die and have to do the whole thing over again!



Rage quit after that.

Got the achievement for "maximising your relationship with a character". Went with Piper (as you get her fairly on in the game). She keeps going on about "doing the right thing and helping other people blah blah...." but the best way to do it is just to pick locks of safes, buildings etc. (as long as they're not owned) and she'll like that.

Well Faak my life... I can't seem to find any matches on BLOPS III. Either its cause I'm in Asia or cause no one is playing it... So I pretty much wasted 60 bucks on it cause I bought it strictly for multiplayer.

Fallout is crack... so much to do, it really brings the ADHD out in me. I get so side tracked I hardly every finish the original mission I set out to beat. I got some slutty woman companion with a checkered past with me now. I finally got the option to flirt with her and much like in real life my advances fell upon deaf ears. (speaking of, I matched up with a deaf chick here in Davao on OKC, I can only imagine the way she'd moan while taking the big white bone)

I really like that the robot companion calls me by my real name... its a cool feature. I'd really love it if he called me Big Poppa
