I personally think that the average "good" Kiev girl is not a party girl and rather goes for a walk in the park or eat cake and drink tea on the weekends rather than getting drunk and get approached nonstop by locals and foreigners.

And finally over the past five years nightlife is on the decline everywhere in the world. Even places like Ibiza or Moscow are not the places for nightlife anymore that they used to be. The smarthpone/instagram/tinder culture keeps younger people away from partying and hooking up in clubs and bars.

But yeah it has been discussed already several times her on this forum. Kiev is ideal for a guy like me who loves to party hard Fridays and Saturdays and spend the other days with working, going to the gym go for dates and in general enjoy quiet evenings. This is okay if you stay in Kiev a couple of weeks but if you just come here for a week and want to hit a bar or a club every night you might be disappointed.

The nightlife has never been fantastic in Kiev as far as I can remember, but I certainly remember it being better back in 2009-2014 when I first started coming to the country. Salaries fell off a cliff in Ukraine after Maidan, the average salary in kiev went from approx $410 to $230, thus spending on things like nightlife went out of the window.

Yes Vodka bar was always Turk central, that was their clubhouse in Kiev, nowadays it's probably Forsage. Nevertheless I did get some results from there.

For those who spend extended time in the country it's best not to rely too much on nightgame, sometimes you can have a good result, but most times you come home with a couple phone numbers and think "I could have got that in 30 minutes doing daygame"

The problem with weekends in Kiev is that they can be a huge cockfest, not only are the local guys not working, but you have the weekend warriors from Turkey and other places. So I prefer to sniff out weekday action.

Agreed, a good approach is to meet girls on the street, then in the evening take them to a cafe, or lounge bar. Usually date three you have the bang.

As far as good girls goes, generally speaking clubs are not ideal, nevertheless I have met many of my ex flames in nightclubs, some were good, some were not haha.

If you look and act like one of the many wife hunters here that come through after paying 5k (airfare not included) for a 1 week wife tour (who are the main complainers such as yourself and online) and stay in a $20 a night hotel that is included in your 5k marriage tour package, you will be treated as such.

Many foreigners find this city by accident, such as being scammed by a fellow American by paying him 5k for a $20 a night hotel for a week and paid girls, they learn from their mistakes, stay and have happy lives here.

Nikolaev and Kherson are associated to those 5k love tours that is a fact, and southern girls (Odessa Oblast) are considered by many to be the better looking in Ukraine in general.

What I know about Nikolaev is that it is a bit hard because there is little going on in terms of nightlife, even the streets are empty during day time and the busiest club has an MMA octagon in the dancefloor.

MMA is big there though. Many guys doing it. A good place to train a bit and get some bruises.

It was not recommended to me by my buddy who was there a few years ago, and also he did not returned. So I think CTOA should not be that worried about the revelation of his paradise. There are other places similar or better, also outside the beaten track, and even closer to Kiev, like Cherkasy or Chernigov.

I have been to Nikolaev a couple of times, both times it was pouring down with rain so I couldn't get an accurate idea of that the city was like, I went to one club in the centre called Caprica but it was dead both times. I like the long street in the centre, people like to parade up and down in the evenings, and there was some nice park at the end.

When I was living in Odessa, there was an old American guy who had a girlfriend there, she was abusing the poor guy, he kept giving her money until he had nothing left and was completely on his ass by the end of it, almost died, and went back to America.

"'knees bitch" says that the girls are more wholesome than they are in Kiev there, from what I've heard I would say the opposite, the city is notorious as being a "city of brides" and they have regular sex tourist buses coming in with old guys looking for their Princesses, finding wholesome girls over 23 there will be tough as the normal ones have left town, got married, or left the country altogether,there are exceptions of course! in Kiev you actually have some career girls who have decent salaries and are not interested in being sponsored.

If CTOA(and GOYKB) are having a good time there, then good luck to them. There are also some similar sized cities around Ukraine where I have had great success, Western Ukraine especially! which get's ignored to some extent on the forum.

I was going to go to the Bahamas this winter, but just cancelled, me and 25 of my drinking buddies are booked for Nikolaev in January, gonna be awesome!

Was in Kiev recently for 5 nights to visit and to meet a girl with whom I had a mini-relationship last summer. Here are my impressions as a late 20 year old guy who had to chance to hang out among locals, many who spoke little to no English.

Logistics:

I booked a communist era 60 square meter AirBnb next to the palace of sports for under 30 euro a night. The place was very clean with solid wifi, no complaints there. The palace of sports is about 15 min walk (1 metro stop) to Independence square, the very center of the city.
A metro ticket costs 25 eurocents and they use a funny plastic pocker chip system.
Tip: save your money and take the skybus from Boryspil airport. It has 2 stops: one at Kharkivska subway station and the second at the main railway station. Better to get off at Kharkivska, you pay only 2 euro instead of 3 lol and you save 30 min as there can be a lot of traffic in the city center area. The metro is old and noisy but very fast. It took me around 40 min from the airport to the flat.
Overall Kiev is the cheapest "European" capital you can visit in 2018.

Main attractions:
I'm not going to list all the touristic attractions as you can google those but I was very impressed by the statue of the motherland (it's taller than the statue of liberty) and there are some very pretty orthodox churches that are unesco sites. You'd need about 2-3 days to check out a museum and see all the nice architecture. Throw in another day for a visit to Chernobyl and you're done.

I was surprised at how many parks there are in Kiev. Tons of viewpoints around the city center where you can take your girl for a walk.

Lastly, there are many cool restaurants, try Last Barricade on Independence Square. It's a bit hard to find and you need a password to enter but it's worth it.

Nightlife:

The girl and her friends showed me a neighborhood called Podil. There is a big street with a green space in the middle next to Kontraktove Ploshcha metro. It's good for nightlife as there are quite a few bars around, I recommend Habana. Closer to Khreschatyk I liked Buena Vista and the shot bars that sell cherry vodka.
Very few people speak English in Kiev. Moving there without speaking the language could be depressing. Learn Russian as Ukrainian is useless, the locals speak both.
We also went to a couple clubs, Skybar among others (recommended here on the forum). They were all small, crappy and a waste of time, plus they have stupid dress codes. I don't see why any guy with game would even hang around the Arena, that's like p2p central...full of strip clubs, thirsty foreigners and drunk local guys who piss on themselves.
Also, beware if you're Turkish. Don't even talk about Turks as you will trigger the girls into a rant about the whole Turkish invasion, let's just say that they really don't like them. Dubai is another touchy subject don't say I didn't warn you.

Daygame:

For daygame I recommend Independence Square, Khreschatyk and if you want to avoid the center then Petra Sahaidachnoho or the various parks.

Girls:

The group I was hanging out with had little interaction with foreigners, only my girl spoke English. However, I didn't feel like I was getting any bonus points. In fact, I felt a bit out of place. On one night we were 4 girls and 4 guys, all couples and girls seemed very happy with their local boyfriends. Most foreigners who go there short term will never have access to such girls. I would rank them a solid 8 although some of them can abuse the make-up.
They do like to complain a lot and they're dreaming big about nice houses next to the beach or expensive cars (they seem very knowledgeable with regards to the latest car models which I found odd) but I didn't get the impression that they would like to leave Ukraine.
Tip: do yourself a favor and install an app called Telegram. It's basically their version of Whatsapp which is not so popular over there. Also, forget about Tinder. I received dozens of matches but none went anywhere. There's a lot of attention whoring going on online.

I'll maybe add a few more comments in a later post as I have to go but overall I think Kiev is far from being an easy place for finding a ONS, mini-relationship or even LTR. In fact it can be quite depressing if you don't speak the language. The quality is just a bit higher than its Polish neighbor which I think is a much better place overall.
