If you can't answer a question , don't waste my time don't waste yours , I dont need answer from a " supposedly tough guy" , question was simple , political tension , answer should be yes or no , never I mentioned gaming girls or pussy , looks like you got a lot to prove buddy , I'm not impressed , do yourself a favor and stop attacking people who ask simple stuff
Bushido 路 2017-01-22 22:22:00 路 #1868
Yes there's some political tension.

Will it affect your trip if you keep your mouth shut while here? No.

The blog is a blog about fellowship , where people around the world , share and offer guidance to those in need of it , we are here to learn and to teach , no need for harsh comments , the root of respect is respect , you reap what you sow

Think of this forum as an exclusive gentlemen's club. You just walked into one of the function rooms where the regulars have been coming for years. We mostly know each other and share certain values. We are suspicious of strangers, but respectful newcomers will be accepted over time.

At such a venue, it's better to keep a low profile early on and make some helpful comments where you can. Offer value. Asking obvious or repetitive questions that have been answered a thousand times will annoy some of us. Getting some flak is standard fare for a newbie who asks a silly question. However, challenging senior members might get you thrown out of the club (i.e. banned). I suggest you act accordingly. And write your posts with proper punctuation.

@Tanapiko: I'd take any thing from Govt of Canada's website with a grain of salt.

Anyways, I was there during summer of '15, less than 1KM away when the bomb went off at Erawan. Every girl on my LINE was panicking. I still managed to meetup with the girl I was waiting for to have dinner. End of the week: I still smashed. Get my point?

So my warnings: You might have too much fun.
You might not want to go back to Canada.
You might get laid too much.
You might question the viability of living in the West.

Thanks for the advices , my goal was not to disrespect anyone , was just trying to get some information, the governments usually blow things out of proportion, that's why insight from people in the field was more valuable for me.

How's your match rate for girls 21 and younger (college age). I'm getting very few matches compared to where a huge percent of girls I was swiping on I matched with when I set it to mid 20s. Flake rates within normal range with other SEA countries? Just trying to work out logistics for upcoming trip, and whether to double book.

Can anyone recommend a private Thai tutor?

I've tried messaging a few on the Bangkok expats Facebook group but half of them want more per hour than it costs for private tuition at an accredited school
Jack Of All Trades 路 2017-01-30 01:01:00 路 #1877
then just sign up at a school, prices aren't that high either plus you get to meet people
slowpoke 路 2017-01-30 01:29:00 路 #1878
Thanks for your reply but as I said I'm looking for a private tutor. The main reasons being I don't want the fixed schedule of a class and also want to learn faster

Are Thong Lo and Sukhumvit areas in BKK still decent areas to stay in?

Most people seem to think so. I stay in Thong lor and barely leave Sukhumvit

I'd say anywhere between Phrom Phong and On Nut is ok, as Nana and Asoke has too many tourists and rip off taxi drivers

Just got a place in Thong Lo, or at least that's what I typed in on airbnb lol

Props!

Thong Lor is a great place to live if you have a bigger budget. I like it for the fact there's a Villa, Tops and Foodland (I cook a lot).

As for private tutors, you can get them for around 300-500b/hr but they won't be amazing. Try reposting again in the Facebook group, also worth posting a listing on Craig List for one.

I've got a trial lesson with one today for 350 baht p/h from FB so will see how that goes. Have also got a list of names off craigslist to try.

Worst case, Duke language school on soi 13 does private tuition for 500 p/h but I plan on doing around 10 hours per week so if I can save 1000/1500 each week and not have to keep travelling back and forth to the school it would be better!

If I find a good one I'll post in the thread so others can PM for contact info if interested

About to wrap up my week trip to BKK. Really not even close tinder is where it's at. Pipeline one week before gather 20-40 contacts and just set up dates.

High quality girls on tinder you'll never find in the nightlife or protected by their Thai orbiters. I would say I've banged some legitimate 7s and one 8 (could easily be a model).

All off tinder. If you are a light skinned East Asian, this place is easy. Bonus points if you're Chinese. Contrary to some KG posters here, got many girls who said they love the Chinese look (non mainlanders). Thai Chinese occupy upper part of society not really a surprise.

Route 66 had much more pros then I expected, with Korean guys making up half the guys approaching aggressively. Quite funny to watch. If your gonna get contact digits just get a table next to your target and slowly talk to them. No need to go all in.

As usual most farang guys with piss poor game and hitting on 5s. A few with solid ladies.

I wouldn't exactly go around bashing nightlife while glorifying tinder.
If you are part of the top guys in looks, maybe. But it's not for everyone. Very white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes would get you far on exotic factor. Korean look too I imagine, with certain girls. However, keep in mind that a lot of these tinder girls go on the farang cock carousel quite a bit. Would not be surprised if you were eskimo brothers with a bunch of forum members.
Putin Closes 路 2017-01-31 22:07:00 路 #1886
Nightlife carousel matches tinder quite well. Funny I matched with a few hotties who go to demo quite often. Demo has much higher quality then route 66 and very few foreigners.

I'm not white, but probably a Eskimo brother with some Asian players on roosh. Yeah I do agree you have to have a certain look, and it's not a shoe in requires meeting for drinks and running proper game. Not like they will come to your hotel and bang. The girls I hooked up like local guys and say I look mixed Thai.

Almost all denied ever hooking up with a farang, but I'm sure they sneaked in an experience or two.

I find myself exhausted though, dunno how you guys can find multiple fresh quality pussy per day. One new girl daily seems to be perfect balance.

Yes double and triple book though. Many girls especially 7s flake like no other. The 8 flaked three times before we hung out and it took some serious effort.

Hey just a question,
While I am using AirBnB I am aware they charge higher prices and would like to try different websites for condo rentals , like six months or so.
What websites are good in your in opinion?

Airbnb isn't supposed to be for long-term leases. You can find plenty of listings on the Facebook expat groups and Prakard, but most Thai owners will want a 1 year contract. If you shop around and negotiate you should be able to find 6 months, but the price might be slightly higher than for 1 year.
