Whether we like to admit it or not, the increasing exposure of this forum is partly to blame for bitch shields in Bangkok rising at a rapid pace. I was there in 2014 and 2015 and noticed a dramatic difference then so dreading what this year has in store.

There are millions and millions more foreigners showing up to BKK every year, I highly doubt a few dozen extra RVF'ers would have even the slightest effect on the city. I'm pretty sure about 98% of guys at clubs at BKK haven't even heard of RVF. I think it really has more to do with a combination of 4 factors

1. Tinder / Dating Apps - It used to be that these shy Thai girls would have to just day dream about meeting a foreigner. Now they have access to tens of thousands of horny farangs on their Tinder, it sends their ego through the roof. Especially now that they are matching more due to more horny farangs showing up (see #3).

Dating apps also make girls want to go out less as well, and when they do go out it makes them less eager to go home with a guy. This is true everywhere, and applies to BKK as well.

2. Increased wealth - Thailand as a country is still pretty damn poor, but salaries here are going up, tourism is increasing, women here can increasingly take care of themselves with tons of office jobs available. Also more local wealthy guys to choose from. Add that to the stigma about dating foreigners and the bad reputation farangs have always had here, makes dating a westerner a lot less attractive.

3. Increasing flood of horny dudes. - Its true Tinder and before that Thai Freindly/Cupid have been around for a good few years now but there was just so many girls looking for a farang that the amount of foreign dick could never fully supply the millions of Thai girls looking for a farang, or so we thought. This would create a demand based market for girls where they would have to be aggressive. The equilibrium has now been reached in my opinion and has rapidly shifted the other direction as less Thai girls are looking for a foreign guys and more foreign guys are looking for a Thai girl.

4. Western attitudes - It used to be in SE asia that women are taught that they are the ones that are supposed to work hard to find a good man, but as the cities here become westernized they absorb that "fuck you, i'm the prize" type attitude that we've been trying to escape.

Combine these 4 together and its pretty clear BKK is not the easy poosy paradise it once was. For me it doesn't feel that different from going out at clubs back home anymore where i'm just talking to every single girl i'm attracted to getting rejected over and over again until I finally find one that sticks. Thats the game that works back home, and its pretty much become the game here in BKK too unless you want to be all blue pill about it. Maybe if you're very tall with blond hair and blue eyes or some of these features you still have a little bit of an edge here in Bangkok, but for the average guy its done.

Lots of local guys have been telling me they get laid like champs. I don't doubt that. If you stay here a year, learn Thai, and build a good social circle you can still date the hottest girls in the cities, even if you're pretty ugly, I do not doubt that. You can still get a ONS here pretty easy too, esp off the tinder machine. All i'm saying is I come here about once a year and every time I come I notice the difficulty level goes up about 25-30% compared to the previous year.

I've also realized the prices and city haven't changed THAT much @Cleanslate is right, its just the Nana area I'm at that has changed a lot. Maybe thats why I went into such a shock when I arrived, perhaps the rest of the city is more or less the same.

(Though I do disagree on the part about JKT only being indo-chinese 1 upping each other, I only saw that at one very specific club called "Domain" where I was told it would be like that, 90% of the clubs are not like that at all unless they are a "chinese" club. Its true JKT is not night life oriented but I kind of like the fact its quiet Sun - Wed, it lets me focus on work and setup dates during the week, but Thurs - Sat night is always a big party somewhere, respect ur opinion tho, but I fuckin loved JKT i had such a great time there.

@Cleanslate - Sad to hear the clubs in Manila are closing at 1am or even earlier, will check it out and see.

Also keep in mind Bangkok has a lot of other stuff going for it then just girls. Year round warm weather, the internet is fast AF here if you work online, there are cafes and coworking spaces in every corner. There are networking events with other cool entrepreneurs virtually every night. Great cheap flight connections if you want to take side trips. Its really not such a bad city to live in.

Now that the weekend has hit i'm also getting more matches on Tinder too. Maybe i've jumped the gun and things haven't gotten "that" much worse in BKK.

And increasingly if you have the money for it, there are incredibly good fancy restaurants too. Theres lots of good gyms here too. Its not such a bad city to live in and everyone tells me if I stayed here for a year and learned some of the language I would clean the fuck up. Everyone tells me that. I do believe them. I'm just saying for someone coming in with no social circle relying on online game and night game and even day game, its getting much much much much harder, to deny this is denying reality.

Since this is the "travel section of the game forum" i'm focusing on women, but I still think it will be many years until it truly becomes "hard" to get laid here. However, I do notice every year its getting tougher.

I still encourage people to come, its a really great world class city, even if its not the anything goes wild place it once was.

Yea I agree stay away from Bkk! I'm in the top .0001% of farang here as I am fluent in Thai, ballin as hell, and ripped. I also check into many cool and trendy places in Bkk on Facebook so my status is also huge. And even I can only get Isaan 5's. It's like being back home in the winter! Awful. On the other hand I heard Lagos Nigeria is the new pussy paradise and it's extremely clean and cheap! I'd say everyone head there for 2017 and jump ship out of Bangkok.

Is there a way to transfer money from my European bank account to my Thai bank account without using an ATM? I just recently got an account with SCB but there is no money in it and I am pretty clueless when it comes to using it.

Have you tried citibank? They wave charges for many european banks.

This is not the least bit useful for Europeans but I have a bangkok bank account and usually transfer from the stateside (New York) account to the Thai account. No real fees there beyond basic exchange rate.

I'm not sure about the other banks but they seem less reliable when it comes to just about everything. The big bank heists, id thefts, and atm card cloning scams you hear about usually happen with all those other banks but i've never heard it happening with bangkok bank. Consider that.

Bangkok bank also has a solid presence in other parts in asia too which is very helpful if you need to route money beyond just daily expenditure.

I truly doubt that nightlife will continue shutting down at 2.30am.

The army will occasionally go into epic enforcement mode with many of it's policies but the politics at play in Thailand.. mean that if they step on two many toes the Army will find themselves in a revolt.

The police also make a damn killing from nightlife, so once the responsibility is back in their hands, the status quo will carry on.

I'll be surprised if this time in a month the same thing is occurring.

And is Thailand "farang'd out?" I've felt maybe it is, but it isn't really. The name of the game is switching things up and finding the party, and finding where being foreign is still a hot commodity. And there is many places. Much nightlife to be found around the universities, Khao San Rd is still a damn gold mine because all of the foreigners are truely dumb as shit, not too mention dressed like shit. Talk to Thai people, show some knowledge about Thailand and boom you're in. Applies especially if you live here. Thai people go to Khao San Rd to look at stinky ass backpackers like it's a weird reality TV show, for many a well dressed and well spoken foreigner is like a fantasy.

Route 66 is dead though. That's for sure. Fucked out by hordes of white dudes and the epic thirst of East Asian rejects.

To me, Thailand is faranged out, meaning there's not exotic factor anymore, but that doesn't mean the girls are not still better than back home. Bangkok has become so ridicously easy to navigate and stay in that Suk 11 seems like it has collected the douchebag, fistpump, tribal tatoo brigade from a dozen countries around the world. People who'd have gone to Bulgaria or Ibiza at most in the past.

Small perk. If you get an apartment with a view to the east with no buildings getting in the way the Full Moons are insane there. Could have watched it for hours from 17th floor.

Thailand nightlife has been completely uninspiring for me so far. Although I've picked up 6 notches (3 locals, 3 tourists) in the space of a couple of weeks solely from night game, it's very slim pickings. After banging a couple of Asian girls my first few nights in Bangkok (KSR and RCA), I was bored of them already and decided to focus on tourist girls but there seems to be a real shortage of >7's. In Bangkok, this didn't surprise me but I expected to at least see some Russian/European/South American talent down south at this time of the year. Maybe Koh Phangan and the full moon party will provide the goods.

I think I'm just done with SE Asia to be honest, having been here 3 times now. I love the 24/7 party, lawless society and weather but there's not enough here for a guy who isn't that into Asians (but will still happily bang them) and hates the P2P scene/seediness of the nightlife to stick around. If you put South American or European women in South East Asian society/culture, I would be in heaven lol.

By the way, got robbed by a lady boy at 5am last night! This thing was over 6'0 tall. It walked alongside me, grabbed my balls with one hand and yanked a whole 20 baht out of my pocket with the other. I then got aggressive and told it to fuck off and it retreated. Ahhh, Thailand!

Its a bit disheartening to hear considering im taking off on my very 1st trip to Asia in my whole life. Ukraine was a gold star but is certainly no cake walk. You just cant beat hot white girls. Im more into tan white girls tho and there really arnt many in some parts of Europe. Is there really not enough >7s in all of asia??! or just mostly Bangkok. I will be going to the phils 1st and am focusing on breaking into high society by living there for a while. You aussies have it great having a semi short flight over 2 asia for the looting and pillaging. Come on theres gotta be some cute homegrown girl next door/modely lookin asians somewhere in asia!!

I find the hottest to be Japanese with Vietnames/Taiwanese as the runners up. Philippines is one of the worst places, you will be hard up to find many girls higher than 6 let alone 8s and 9s unless you have low standards.

Personally, I have been to Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and now Vietnam and Korea and Japan are probably tops for me and Vietnam hasn't been bad so far. But I am generally into pretty faces and lighter-skinned girls, which you will find more in Japan and Korea (pretty face being subjective, lighter skin fairly objective. Though in reality, Korean and Japanese girls aren't actually all that light, they just avoid the sun like the plague and use lots of makeup). But if you are looking for tits and ass, Korea and Japan are generally bad for that

I don't know about trying to break into high society in the Philippines but I've never been there so I don't know how it works. For example, in Korea, no matter how hard you try, you will never be Korean. Don't think I have ever seen a foreigner hanging out with Gangnam (more or less SoHo of Korea) crowd
