It's just courteous to give a little more info isn't it.
I think of forums as real life forums. Ie you have to put in a little effort to get people to invest back.

Has anyone tried purchasing a water gun and walking around shooting pretty girls with it during the holdiday? I still haven't seen anyone with a water gun! I'm staying near Phrom Phong bts.
This seems like a good time to do a lot of day game since the girls are off work all week?
Cheers!
Happy Songkran

Aren't you the guy who was scared to travel alone in Thailand? Do you need a hug cutie or may be some spanking from Papa Sado?

I've been reading through the thread and was hoping I could get some of your opinions on this. I know it's kind of selfish for me to crash in here and ask for help right away, but I'll trade Phils info for BKK info if anyone wants.

I'm planning on taking a few months off to travel, and I'm considering BKK as one of my destinations. Not sure if I will actually go, or if I do, how long I'll stay. BKK appeals to me since it has good food (I love Thai/spicy food), it's relatively modern, cheap, has beaches, and doesn't too sound hard to get laid. I will pass on temples and parks unless I'm really into the culture and history of a place, though I'll go out of my way to see a place if it's truly a unique spot on the globe.
I'm not overly concerned with getting laid or chasing quality, though it's always a plus. As time goes on, I'm moving away from purely chasing notches, and more towards spending a good time and connecting with feminine women. From what I've read, it's going to be hard to do that with Thai girls from their limited English and my nonexistent Thai. But if it's easy enough, I'd be all about banging 6/7s, and I'm not too picky (I actually have a thing for SEA women). Not really into nightgame as much, and I generally focus on online. I'm pretty short (5'6), but in shape, and generally dress nicely and come off as educated.
Based on the above, do you guys think it'd be worth it for me to come to BKK for a while? If not, I'll probably just pass through a few days to grab a beer with some of you and get a quick idea of the place. Insights are much appreciated.
I just arrived from Makati after staying 2 months. It definitely feels a lot more modern here in BKK and the culture is way more interesting. There just is a lot more culture here than in the Phils, which is more westernized, possibly because Thailand has never been colonized.
I found the girls here really attractive when I arrived a couple days ago. This seems like a must stop trip if you haven't been here before and have a lot of time.
As far as quality, I was getting quite a bit better quality online in the Philippines. I think it's a little harder here. Probably because there's a lot more foreigners.

For day game, do you guys find direct works better in BKK or indirect?
I can say I did about 25 day game approaches, and went on about 20 online dates last year when I stayed here. The quality I got on the 25 day game approaches was superior to what I got from mass hours setting up and meeting girls online for the 20 dates. I recall towards the end of my trip, I was watching tons of pretty girls walk by me at Emporium mall while I was waiting for my online date I met at Thai friendly. She didn鈥檛 look like her photos, and was a little chubby. Also, she started off with a little bit of an attitude and tried to get me to follow her. I just ended it and was realizing that day game was probably way superior. I was sitting there timing it, and I realized an approachable girl was walking by me at least every 5 minutes during peak times. And there was no competition, at least directly.
For the last 3 days of my trip last August, I tried stopping girls over at Paragon and T 21. And opened some direct, some indirect. My online game was on Thai Friendly and Thai Cupid. Now I鈥檓 just getting started again. Wanting to do a lot more day game but also interested in hearing others experiences. And working with Tinder this time as well.
I鈥檒l be here for a couple months if anyone wants to meet up for a cup of coffee or possibly a drink, hit me up! Also, I have a tennis racquet if anyone wants to hit sometime.
Cheers!
TG,
You're one of my favorite newer frequent posters on the travel forum, man, and you've always got a lot of interesting insights. I'd suggest to you that your insights, often, are more in depth and show more understanding then much of the other clutter about Asia (which I probably have spent too much time reading).
I'd suggest to you strongly that you make a point to visit a bunch of places and see what you prefer. Of course, hit the usual suspects (Bangkok, Jakarta - there's a reason they're held in high regard for various reasons, BKK in particular) but don't sleep on many of the other less travelled locations.
Beyond Borders and I have made the point about the sheer size of these countries and the benefits of getting a bit off the beaten path. Thailand is heavily travelled, tho many areas aren't. Hua Hin may attract a lot of tourists, but what about the beaches a few towns south in Pran Buri. Or less travelled islands like Koh Chang. Not many guys have been to East Thailand where all these cute Isaan girls originate from.
Cambodia is worth a jaunt, for those who like a bit of grit. Malaysia is largely undiscussed on the forum, and I find it to be one of the best values and most pleasant places to travel (both West Malaysia and Borneo), with great food and things to do (scuba, jungle treks, climbing, beaches). Girls may be a bit more difficult to pull on single night lays but I doubt given your write-ups that you'd be so focused on notch counts. I recently spend time in Sumatra - I brought someone with me for part of the trip, which was interesting with some beautiful scenery and inexpensive great cuisine - I'd recommend that kind of trip for you during your time off of work.
Anyway, you don't need to excuse yourself to join the BKK forum, you've provided plenty of intel on the Phils thread and Im guessing many of us have a look at both.

Yesterday I didn't notice anything, but today, it's crazy on soi 24. Waterguns and hoses everywhere. I got splashed several times!
I saw them splashing guys driving by on motor bikes too haha

I guess this is not news to the locals here.

I think if you are looking for connection with a feminine girl, Bangkok is a right place. But you will need more than 2 days for that. Be careful they fall in love quickly.
English is not as good as in Manila, but you can find a good speaker in a medium class. Aim for students, they speak better English too.
I you are only willing to see and experience unique tourist attractions in Thailand, and have limited time, I suggest you do one day trip to Ayutthaya. Old Capital. 40 minutes drive from BKK. There you will get the feel of old Buddhist temples in the jungles and get to ride on an elephants. Grab a date (you are willing to connect with) with you, so you save some time. Also it is nice to visit temples in Bangkok with your dates. Majority of them will be Buddhists and they will show you some rituals, great cultural exchange. Temple of lying Buddha is a must see IMO.
It is also very funny to see how Thai girls avoid coming next to Buddhist monks and if they pass by you they will kind of try to hide behind you.
Another good day trip is the Erawan National Park near Kanchanaburi. Just google the pictures. It is a great place to relax, hike a bit and swim in the natural waterfall pools. Similar to the Kawasan Falls on Cebu Island, in case you have been there, but a lot bigger. If you leave Bangkok early in the morning around 6 or 7am you can reach the falls around 11am and then return to Bangkok in the evening. The best way is to take a minivan from Victory Monument to Kanchanburi and then take the big bus to the Erawan Falls from the main bus station there.

Probably because Buddhist monks are not supposed to touch women, nor desire them. So, out of admiration for the monks, the girls take it upon themselves to make it less likely to happen.
Yeh if women want offer food or something else at the temple they will have a cloth for you to set things on infrasonic donating. Another thing that acts as a barrier between the monk and a female.
Monks give up women and live a chaste life. That includes touching them as well.

I did it. Though, I could celebrate Song Kran just one day because I was at Kho yao yai before and there nothing was happening at all. In BKK at day time it was pretty good around Siam, many parties and bands playing on different stages. People would shoot you themselves, if you are carrying a water gun and a waterproof pouch with your phone and other stuff in, they know then that you are up for it and in evening I celebrated song kran at Khao san road, it was definitely one of the craziest and the best time I had in my life.
Any personal stories or stories from other travelers of them getting a parasite while in Thailand?
Any homemade or non antibiotic cures? I've heard of bentonite and water works for parasites

If you're sick you should go to a clinic and see a doctor. It's cheap.

What type of parasite? I get stomach bugs every time I go to Thailand for some reason. Helicobacter Pylori was the first one I caught, which still hasn't been cleared because it's a superbug and was resistant to the first line treatment of antibiotics, so now I'm waiting on a lengthy public hospital system to try second and third line treatments. The bug is common and nothing to worrying but results in bloating, naseua, and a lack of appetite and requires reflux medication to keep in check. The second time I went I caught another really bad stomach bug which had me over a toilet seat for days and the foulest looking/smelling crap I've ever witnessed. It might have been "Thai Belly" but it definitely felt like some sort of parasite eating my insides away. I needed Imodium and a couple other drugs to get through it. Wouldn't mind betting that I caught both on Phi Phi Islands- can't even seem to go there for a few days without getting sick due to the shocking hygiene and terrible food.

It's online game, so if you are better looking than all the hundreds of other guys on the site it shouldn't be an issue. Still, if I recall correctly you can only send one message every 20 minutes on the free subscription which doesn't make chatting easy at all.
I think TF it is one message every 10 mins.
Make sure to filter out hard, heaps of photoshopped pics etc. Getting replies shouldn't be a big issue though.
Most often girls ask you to change to Line anyway. I usually let them offer the change to another media - and they seem to like it.

I caught H. Pylori in the Philippines.
Finished up the first round of antibiotics a couple weeks ago, and now waiting on test results to see if it worked.
Hopefully it does. Hate taking all kinds of antibiotics.
Good luck with yours man.

If you have severe shits I would recommend using pepto bismal first to see if that works if your not keen on getting raped with a medical bill for simple tests.
For std's I also recommend avoiding getting tested in hospitals as they rip you off massively. Tests cost like 20x the cost of the med's. Just get azithromycin without a prescription for like $5 assuming it's just the usual suspects you have acquired. 2 500mg pills within 1 day will do the trick.

the thing with antibiotics is, that they are not very selective. you will fuck up your stomach with it even more, try to get gut flora supplements (different strains of bacteria in pill form). you will need good bacteria after the antibiotics and they will compete with the bad stuff.
Satoshi 路 2016-04-26 16:23:00 路 #1438
I don't think girls actually use Adobe Photoshop to edit pictures. But they do like to use "filters" to change the colour of the pic making them look whiter.

This is bad advice. I don't think anyone with any sort of health care background would advice popping some OTC antibiotics before consultation. Are you positive that you can determine if you have a viral vs bacteria infection? Many symptoms are the same for different infections.
That being said, I had the shits for a week after coming back from Mexico. I drank some ACV and was back to normal after a few days.
