I want to be more specific. (if you're running looks game this does not apply to you).

These are the main reasons girls don't reply to the first message:
1) The opener is clearly copy and paste
2) The opener is too directly sexual
3) The opener is boring

These are main two ways to categorize your matches:
1) girls who know they want you to fuck them (yes girls)
2) girls who don't know what they want (maybe girls)

A) girls who just joined tinder
B) girls who have been on tinder for a while

With yes girls you are just running don't fuck it up game so I will focus on maybe girls.

A maybe girl who just joined tinder normally needs indirect game that makes her feel comfortable and like she's having fun.

A maybe girl who has been on tinder for a while has already had seen plenty of copy and paste openers, overtly sexual openers and "how is your day/weekend" openers. (Months ago "how was your weekend" was a stupidly gold opener and now it is dead). They are sick of that shit and need something else if you're not counting on looks game. If your opener has been posted on straightwhiteboystexting.tumblr.com then you're running looks game.

So I'm rolling down I-20 through Texas at like 85 mph, and swerving all over the road like every other idiot cause I'm Tindering. Was trying a hybrid between online game and Emech road warrior game. So I hit like on like 40 profiles and didn't get shit back for an hour. Finally my phone chimes and I get excited. I pull over to get gas and see my match. It was a fucking tranny! SMFH.

I've gotten bangs on Tinder, but like all online dating it runs hot and cold. I put my best pic forward, wait for the match, and use an elderly opener, like "nice hair, how was your weekend?" If they don't respond in a day or so I follow up with something like "it must've been epic!" I get a good response rate with this formula.

I'm still not 100% on Tinder, but have been using prior knowledge to speed up the process. On Pof, I am lethal and can pull diglits in lesx than 10 messages and always open with a heavy neg. Okcupid requires some thoughtful shit and longer timewise for the #. I think Tinder is inbeween but I've not found my sweet spot.

My original profile message was about a paragraph long and highlighted, travel, overseas, and cooking. Boring. I just changed it though posted up some real racy shit. I believe girls initially swipe you, and then later read your profile. This is a different dynamic than other dating sites. I'm beginning to think it don't really matter after you match though. Will keep plugging away at it till my % is higher.

I do though know that after the match move quick, because they will get bored and move on. Use the same technique as you would after getting the number off online dating sites.

Whenever a girl wouldn't respond to my opener or just go radio silence after a couple of messages, I would just use this: "I made a graph to show how well this conversation went ", the great majority would reply positively so just push for the number from there.

Anyone notice an "age thresh hold" on tinder? Like ....I'm in my 40s and lying saying I'm 34....but I'm only getting a few likes and I think I've got some decent pics ( social proof pics with some cute women...having fun....etc) I'm thinking of lowering to 33 or 32 or whatever to try to get more matches.

Just wondering if anyone's noticed an age threshold at which more matches from younger women suddenly start popping off. I'm afraid I may be getting age discriminated against and need to lie even more....lol.

Tinder is optimal if you're 25 and under IMO. It's popular with the younger age group just like instagram, twitter etc. Luckily im in that age group and here are my matches last two weeks.

I have banged girls MONTHS after matching them on Tinder. In fact, I'd estimate 40% of my Tinder bangs happen this way.

Here are 2 examples:

#1: In October I messaged a girl and she replied within the hour, and we exchanged a few messages. I went for the number and she went cold for 3+ weeks.

I am deleting tinder during non school breaks. The sheer number of DTF college girls has spoiled me this last break.

That's five girls over thanksgiving and X-mas break.

Oldest 21 and the youngest was 19. Two of them will be part of my new harem.

I did a halfway decent job of taking professional shots at home myself. I bought some stuff off amazon and did my best model shot. Took over an hour to get the perfect shot. But it's definitely increased my matches and interest online. Been worthwhile. At some point I would like to get a pro to do them though, or buy myself a $500 camera.

Incredible photos do a lot of the work for you, and is the biggest single thing to make you stand out.

The more you seem like the dream package, the more girls will fall for you. People are so used to the polish of advertising, so play to that level of polish.

PM me for details on getting a good photo yourself, though its nothing the web doesn't say already.

I understand your frustration. I also believe that women are expecting a bit much from the openers. HOWEVER, it is Tinder:

1. All they get are whatever pictures you put up (and many times they only look at 1) as they rarely read profiles.
2. They are getting BOMBARDED with messages.
3. If you had the same type of deal offline, she probably wouldn't notice you either unless you called out some reasonably interesting opener.

If you can't be interesting enough to catch a girl's attention in an opener, how do you think that translates to all the other things in your life that you need to have some sort of opener/good first impression with?

Work on what you can improve, and understand why your barrier to entry is hard, don't complain about what you can't change.

Eh, one of my buddies is a photographer so i'm gonna throw that up there (one that he took).
I haven't used Tinder yet so I'm not sure how the photo thing works but my idea is to use that one for a secondary photo.
It looks sort of like a full body actor head shot style.
I think more casual is better, but that is one of the better photos I have.
