Like ....I'm in my 40s and lying saying I'm 34....but I'm only getting a few likes and I think I've got some decent pics ( social proof pics with some cute women...having fun....etc) I'm thinking of lowering to 33 or 32 or whatever to try to get more matches.
Just wondering if anyone's noticed an age threshold at which more matches from younger women suddenly start popping off. I'm afraid I may be getting age discriminated against and need to lie even more....lol.

I could go day game right now and get an instant date in less than 5 approaches, but it's taking way more than 5 to get a match on Tinder, even though I'm in the same city. I'm trying to "adapt" to these apps, since more girls are getting on it, but my online results can't come close to matching my real life results.
Does anyone get better results on Tinder than regular gaming? I find this hard to believe, unless your photos are unrealistically better than how you appear in real life.

The New York Times following an interview with Tinder's boss reported that women swipe right only 14% of the time compared to 46%.
http://time.com/3547890/tinder-men-women-swipe-right/
This heralds the familiar tale of women over-estimating their values and under-estimating men's. Recall how the OKCupid staff found that women deem 80% of men on the site as 'less than average'. This is obviously mathematically impossible and this would not happen in real life.
Having said that, despite the shallow nature of Tinder favouring people (mostly women) whose values are forward-loaded in terms of depreciating looks, Tinder is an effective means for men to get through the first stage of the game process by churning through the numbers with little investment.

How do you re-engage with these girls and don't appear too needy?
For example, let's say you message a bunch of girls on a Saturday "How's your weekend going?". Most of them don't reply. Then what do you do with those who don't reply? What do you message next time? How long do you wait? How many times do you message if they keep quiet?

First of all, "How's your weekend going?" is a terrible opener. In a Swedish forum they did a "hot girl experiment" opening an account on a dating site as a girl with hot photos. This is two year old information from a Swedish dating site, not an app, but we can assume it's not too different from tinder, anywhere in the world. The first message guys wrote were:
Giving complement for her looks: 41%
"How are you?", "What's up" and similar 39%
"How's your weekend going?", "Did you do anything interesting this weekend?" 21%
"What are you doing at the moment"? or similar 11%
"Do you want to speak on the phone?" "could I have your number?" 9%
"Hug" "Kiss" 8%
Says something about the photo 8%
Says something about the profile 8%
Says something about the weather 8%
That's more than 100% because some messages would go like "How are you? You look hot" <- placing the message in two categories.
Shows confidense 4%
Ask a random question 4%
Wrote something funny 2%
Complementing personality 2%
Coming up with a new opener is not necessary, just come up with one, yourself, showing confidence, humor and is easy to answer too, is enough. I've one myself, six words, I won't disclose it for you, it's too good. Since I'm using it all the time her answer will tell me a lot about her too.
Anyway, re-engaging is possible, of course how easy it is depends on what's been said before. If you wrote "How's your weekend going?" and try to re-engaging with "How are you?" you shouldn't expect an answer. If you had a good chat and she's been quite for sometime just saying "you're quite" might work.
I find it important to answer her directly and get a connection as soon as possible, not a good idea to play busy in tinder, she'll just go swiping again until someone else engages her.

I have banged girls MONTHS after matching them on Tinder. In fact, I'd estimate 40% of my Tinder bangs happen this way.
Very rarely are these girls looking to bang right now, or even meet up anytime soon. That's how guys approach it; they think a match = instant bang. But Tinder game is a slow burn, and if you rush in you'll scare the cat.

Like most girls she probably has nothing interesting written on her profile, if anything at all. Her pictures are probably just her standing in a club taking iphone shots on girl's night out. Some cliche photo of her at a rock climbing gym or something and that's about it. But we're expected to craft this perfect opener that makes her laugh out out loud, makes her 'gina tingle, shows confidence, creativity etc and we don't know a thing about the bitch.
