I fap about 1-2 times a week. I was no porn for the last 2 months (October 12 - December 12) and ended up browsing pornhub for about 3 hours today. And fapped 2 times.

The longest I have gone without porn is about 2-3 years since I was 22-24 years old. Gotta start all over again with the no porn rule...will continue fapping 1-2 times a week.

Thankfully I do not have a porn addiction and can go many months without it. Its toxic.

Wet dream for the second time this week. God, I hate them so much, always feel like the little kid who hit puberty and has no control over his body.

Why do you think so, man? Sounds to me like your sabotaging your efforts. Not sure how old you are, but to me as a 40, a wet dream makes me feel young again. I love them! They are not very common (1-2 a month), so it is not much of a problem. Plus they happen to me before waking up, so I just take a shower.

Wet dream is a part of how our body works. Embrace the fact and try to produce positive feeling about them.

2-nd of Jan I will complete 1 year nofap/noporn. I have to start thinking on how to celebrate this.

Kind of weird but I've never had a wet dream in my life.

Fapped yesterday. Was browsing 4chan and then kept seeing random hot chicks people posted which led into me checking out soft core tumblr pages. It happened after 9 days of no fap. Time to get back on the horse.

Because I immediately wake up in the middle of the night, always from REM phase and that fucks me up. I must go clean myself and have a bit of trouble getting back to sleep.

I stopped counting.

Could be a month. Or 2 weeks.

My longest streak was around 4-5 months, so this is no biggie to me.

I hate porn.

Cut that evil out of your life and rejoice at the sight of real, feminine girls.

It's helpful to simply remove temptation by blocking access to web porn. Easy to do on the desktop with Block Site, but not sure how to do it on the iPhone for Chrome.

Any tips?

That sounds terrible man. I would not be happy as well; having a hard time to fall alseep once I wake up.

I think it is the same thing as when you cum in normal way. You get dopamine rush (in my case during dream) and that functions as a small energy boost which of course will slightly make you stay up at night. Not for long though but since I wake up for the job early, I like every second of my sleep.

I'm surprised people look at porn on their phones. I've only ever looked at it on a laptop or desktop computer back in the dial up days.

I wonder what's more common, looking at porn on the phone or on the laptop? Maybe I'm on the odd one out for never looking at it on my phone.

I am officially jumping on the wagon here after kicking around the idea for months and putting it off.

Today is day 5.

I simply wish to know what life is like without porn and fapping. It's not like I've beat off every day of my adult life, but porn has been around more or less since I hit puberty. Scary thing to think about.

This is all part of a bigger shedding of addictions for me. I stopped drinking completely for a while this year and now let myself drink on occasion. I'm backing down off coffee as well as tobacco. Not going to eliminate those things completely but I want to ratchet it back and control the use. At some point I will focus on cussing and cutting out dumb phrases. Porn and fap I want to eliminate completely (still having sex though).

Everywhere I look I realize that we live in a society of addicts. All I want is to know what life would be like free from all of these devices that have slowly taken control.

Unfortunately I failed an hour ago. But I am hopping back on this challenge, still not counting days and having a bit different attitude than mainstream community around this challenge.

I've posted here a few times and had a few good streaks, but I need to confess:

I think I am addicted to PMO. I have no problem gaming and fucking women, but PMO is taking up too much of my life. Sometimes it's 2-3 times a day. I've been so good this year with getting shit done, but I haven't been able to kick this habit. That needs to change. I managed a 90 day streak in college, and I felt fucking great.

All the other benefits aside - there's no reason to be spending all that time mindlessly pumping my own dick. Hopping on the train today and I will park my ass in this thread anytime I even have the slightest inkling to fap. Lets get it boys.

Serious question, why does anybody save porn in this day in age with high speed internet? You can get it for free anywhere and it's out in the open, no need to save.

Getting hit up for tech question in Uni.....

If someone's gonna do it, just subscribe. There were a couple of times people's computers were unrecoverable after getting viruses from "free" porn.

I'm a week into this now. I've noticed the hardest part is figuring out what to with the thoughts and urges that come up during the day.

I was going home to visit my parents in my old hometown earlier this week and I drove past the house where this girl I used to know lived. She was a year older than me and totally gorgeous in the face, dark hair, plump lips, big tits. When I finally got the bang it was epic.

Thinking about that really got me going mentally. Eventually it passed. But I could easily see how it could have lead to browsing porn and fapping.

I think my long term success is really going to depend on what to do with some of these urges. Even with regular sex from my girl there's still all the other hours of the day or streaks where I am alone. I don't think substituting other habits is the right answer and hope that eventually I can rewire my brain and learn how to deal with it.

Don't do anything with them. It's harder than I make it sound as I very well know but it goes away on its own

8 days without porn. I think I can be without porn at least until January 2nd, 2019. Hopefully much longer (many months)

I fapped only once this week. My goal is to fap only 1 or 2 times a week.

There's a few camps re: new years resolutions.

1. Basic bitches: "I'm gonna go to the gym this year!" (doesn't go to the gym)

2. Self improvement bros: "You should be making resolutions everyday, new years is for losers" (doesn't accomplish anything)

My take? If you need the new year to push you to do something, you aren't gonna do it for long. That's why new years resolutions never work out - once that motivation fails, you fall into your old ways.

However, a new year is still an excellent opportunity to start something new, especially NoFap/NoPorn. There's something extremely motivating about saying, "I haven't masturbated this year."

There might not be any juju about a new years resolution, but like moving into a new apartment, a new year offers a new opportunity to keep something clean from porn & masturbation.

So, if you're on the fence about this challenge, I highly suggest you use the new year to keep yourself in check.

Even if you aren't trying to go the distance for 1 year without masturbation, the new year offers a chance to establish new boundaries for yourself. For example, you could opt-in to masturbating once a month, on the last day of the month. No matter what your commitment is, it'll be made stronger by applying to a fresh new year.

It's also a great excuse that you can give to girls. "Oh, I came really fast, it's because I'm doing this thing this year where I don't masturbate." They'll relate to the new years resolution, and even if they think it's weird, they'll understand.

Repeating your commitment out loud (especially to females) will further cement it in your brain, so use this time to start fresh and take a step forward with this challenge.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I am still going strong as I approach the 2 week mark. I haven't noticed any superpowers develop yet but my morning woods have been solid.
