I've tested Tinder in three different Countries. My profile pictures have not change and "About me" is empty. Here is the outcome:


Brazil - Sao Paulo (3 Weeks)
This is my home town, language is not an issue here.
Lots of matches and conversations going on. Likely, they were all mass matching everyone, but it's hard to tell. My conversations were really straight and reckless at times.
I had a different thing going on in Brazil and I rarely focuses on Tinder (Online game). I was 100% down to the "real deal" where I would meet up with someone I knew before (Someone who would not bail on me).
Girls there are very friendly and I would say Portuguese is necessary unless the girl speaks English.


Colombia - Bogota-Zona Rosa (6 days)

I've had a really good match rate in Colombia. Instant matches all the time, girls were always approaching saying Hola and conversations were good (Considering I don't speak Spanish Fluently).
Result: 6 days I met 2 Girls = 2 solid notches




Canada Toronto
Toronto (GTA) is really tricky. I don't get a lot of matches. I guess girls are too picky or they might be too inactive on it. Some of the girl I talked to in the past are looking for that ego boost and they are not always willing to go out right away.

I've gone out with maybe 10 girls so far. Only 2 notches (one yesterday).

I've met boring girls where I could not get this from the text messages. So, she was very easy going "virtually" but she was something else in real life. My lesson is to maybe call the chick have a really small conversation with her prior to the date night.

I've talked to cool girls where they never meet up, always unavailable, in other words, they are just there to waste your time. I'm a super patient person but I just next them and say I don't have time for that!

Most of my matches told me good quality I have and one thing that I've been getting a lot lately is that I don't have any shirtless pictures on my profile... During the conversation I ask what makes them different from the other girls and then I ask what makes me different from the other guys and they said: "... also because you don't have any picture of yourself shirtless..." So, I know it's a 50/50 chance: 50% are not there for the looks (As they say ?!?) and there is another 50% that are precisely going after the looks only (DTF). Tinder is all about looks.



That being said, this is what I'm testing:

- Created a new facebook
- Running Tinder on my secondary phone and added the new facebook account on it.
- Added three pictures (2x shirtless and me and one girl together)

I'm running this in parallel because I'm curious to see which account will provide me more matches!

Guys are thirsty everywhere, yet I get decent matches in South America & Asia. I might have "exotic" factor in my favor in Asia, but in south america I look like your typical south american more or less.
Its something else.

Born & raised in Brazil, and when I was younger and always had to approach the girls. However, when I was visiting Brazil back in March 2014, I was amazed by them. They were literary approaching me. Specially in Clubs...

Same happens in Colombia. Airport was a good example, the girl already flirting and everything.. Clubs, they would come to you and ask you to dance. Like, out of no where..


Here in Toronto, I simply think I don't exist. LOL

Uhh, no. If it's 46% women, then the ratio is 46:54 women to men, or 1:1.17. One woman for every 1.17 men.

I'm convinced that the more you like, the less matches you get.
That's the way it's been working for me.

The fact that I live in a area without any larger cities might be an explanation aswell.

I thought I had good pictures that would get me decent matches until I deleted my account and made a new one with a whole different set of (better and cooler) pictures and the quality and quantity of matches skyrockeckted (230 in 3 days and I'd swipe right on the 7's and up)

First one was taken at my friend's luxury loft, second one was taken in front of the windowns in the Amsterdam red district and the last one was at a fashion store opening with a cute Middle Eastern chick besides me, I'm smiling on all 3 and they were all taken with smartphones

My old pictures were typical travel pictures and a selfie wearing a nice suit

Never have a selfie in a dating profile. Only girls get away with the selfie "myspace" down the clevage shot.

Ok this is proof that the algorithm throttles you if you mass like.

It is so sad to be back stateside. I am a decent looking & successful guy, more cute than hot. I'd give myself a solid 7. I can afford to be in better shape and I am working on that.

I was in Manila for a week and literally had 100+ matches from girls that were 7s+... Meanwhile back in Soviet America, I have to mass swipe right just to get a handful of matches from the bottom of the barrel omega females who are fat and/or have illegitimate children.
