Some of the quality in my area. I need some tips on profile pics and stuff. First time ever using online

Anyone notice any trends with their matches? I'm 27 so I set my age parameters 19-28 but I don't match with any girl over 25. I would say 90% of my matches come from 23 year olds for whatever reason. Not 21, not 22; 23 specifically. Almost all of my matches. So I said screw it, and dropped my parameters to 19-25.

I also don't seem to match with girls within 10 miles. But set my radius to 15? I get tons of matches. Tried pushing it to 20 miles and again, nothing. I'm surprised some of you guys match with girls a few towns away from you. Seems like girls don't want guys too close to them, but not too far either. I don't think I matched with any girl when I put my radius at 10. 15 is my sweet spot.

How you set your radius is very dependent on where you live. I live in a trendy party of town where it's all medium/high density housing and >50% of the population is under 35. Therefore I set a very tight radius, < 5km, as I can't be bothered with girls from the suburbs when there are so many quality ones near me already.

This is where POF and OKC are annoying because they are loaded with people from the burbs which makes logistics a pain.

As to age, I tend to get mostly girls 25 - 28, even though I have my age range set from 18 - 30.

Interesting. My main picture is me in a suit so I assumed girls my age or older would see that as a young professional stud type of deal, but quite the opposite. Sometimes just for kicks I'll say okay, today I'm setting it for 26-28, just to see what I get -- and those are the days I get zero matches.

I match with a lot of party girls which is strange because nothing in my written profile or pictures would give the vibe that I'm the partying type. Whatever.

Location does make a huge difference. My friends always give me shit because no matter where I go, I have to Tinder. They always laugh and say "can't you do that later?/at home?" and I have to tell them no, depending where I am, I can get 15 matches in a day or 0. I remember one day I was out in one part of the city and I only swiped about 30 girls because I was busy -- but got about 6-7 matches. 6-7 matches out of 30. I didn't want to leave.

I've been toying around with my Tinder settings, pics etc.

My suited up profile with limited info was doing terribly, like 5 matches and none above a 6.

Added a few more "fun" pics and wrote a pretty awesome bio and wow what a difference! Got about 30 matches off the bat and about 8-10 per day after that.

Definitely going to refine this and make the most of Tinder as I live 1 block away from a bustling pub strip, easy pickings!!

Anyone here put up a shirtless sexy picas their main pic, and see if that attracts the younger sluttier and hotter party girls? I have a good bathroom selfie that makes me look ripped, I may throw that up as the main pic for a week and test the results

Interesting observation: The other week I put a shirtless photo (casual at the beach, not a selfie) as my main photo, and my match rate completely dried up. I think I got maybe 2 new matches in 4 days on at least 200+ swipes. After that, I continued the experiment by moving the photo to the 3rd photo in my profile, and my match rate skyrocketed; I got something like 10 new matches in the first day of that, and it still hasn't dried up.

It could just be variance within the app, but I think there might be something to putting a shirtless photo later in your profile instead of as your first photo. A first photo like that might scare some girls off, but it comes off much more benign when its later in the profile.

From speaking to girls on dates, a lot of them use shirtless main pics as a way to disqualify guys. Same goes for photos with tigers. Or with a car.

The rules go out the window if you're exactly their type, but otherwise you're limiting yourself.

Exactly, I agree with that. I haven't asked enough girls to make a definitive conclusion but judging from my experience a shirtless main photo is definitely not the way to go on Tinder. However, as a photo later in the profile (if its casual), I've had success with it.

I updated my profile recently with some text from a delicious tacos post and i'm getting a big increase in matches. Had to edit a bit so it would fit in the size limitations.

Figured out how to get unlimited Tinderly mass likes on android. If anyone is interested I'll post it. It's a real game changer... it lets you mass like at 20 likes per second. I was in DC and I actually ran out of people in around 10 minutes. The matches poured in over the next three days.

Yay! I finally figured out how to fix Tinder after 3 long months of nothing! Their support is worthless, I did finally figure out the secret to getting past SMS verification and wiping my profile. But this only works on Android devices:

- Download Tinder APK for version 2.1
- Install and log into FB (I removed the FB application and logged in manually)
- Should go right in, might take a few tries with different versions of the APK
- After you're in, do a delete profile and back all the way out of Tinder
- Uninstall old Tinder version, re-install current version from Play store
- Get laid

Quality isn't as good as before seems like. I took the advice on here and swipe right at everything. So far I've gone through about 60 women and have 5 matches:

- Fatty
- Fatty with kid
- Fatty with kids
- Fatty
- Possibly bangable hairstylist (long as she isn't a SIF)

Off to the races!

I alternate between two profiles pics: (1) is shirtless, looking to the side, camera a few meters away. (2) is with a henley, cup with ice and lime in hand, sitting by a table, looking in the camera, closer up.

I've been using pic 1 most of the time because it yields A LOT of matches, however I get the feeling that when I use pic 2 I get higher quality.

Lately I've been toying with the idea of using the shirtless pic on weekends (hornier girls?) and shirt-on pic during the weekdays (more behaved).

Still early to tell, but this could be something to look into.

Been noticing my matches on tinder are way hotter than the girls who check my profile out or talk to on tinder.

Also the girls on OKC are terrible with sarcasm/jokes: had this 7 myabe 6.5 possible sif get butthurt about ebola joke, next. this other girl made a joke saying she'll "think" about texting me, i made a joke that she's a slow thinking, her response was brain was complex, i laughed and said "don't flatter yourself, dolphin brains are more complex than ours, blah blah" that shut her right down "ok" next

90% of girls on tinder have been pleasant, even if I don't get the number or lose interest. I get WAY more numbers/bangs off tinder also.

I'm still relatively new to Tinder and have been tweaking things over the past couple months.

I just redid my profile last night and in the last 18 hours I've had 116 matches (I downloaded a mass "Liker" that supposedly has gone through over 10,000 profiles but how many of those are dupes or spam accounts...?) But again profile hasn't even been up for a full day so we'll see how many matches I get over the next 7 days.

Out of those 116, I've messaged 4, because that's how many seem like they could pass the boner test. So that's what, like 3.5% of matches being fuckable?

I guess standards and results vary. I see my only two options are 1)lower my standards or 2) continue to work on my profile.

Anyone else have any hard stats to contribute? What % of your matches would you fuck/message?

Anyone else notice a huge decline in quality in the DFW area? I took a break from tinder for about a month and recently came back to find it infested with fatties and undesireables. If I had to make a guess, I'd say the average girl on there is a 4 or 5.

I need to write a guide. I just don't have time right now, I'll chip at it little by little.

I've gotten 20+ bangs off tinder since the beginning of this year, one main HB 8 that I dig, I can't give stats on matches vs number close>date>flake or bang rates, reason being I've deleted my app about 5 times now.

However I profile girls pretty well it's definitely more that a 50/50 ratio when it comes to meet and bang ratio. I use sniper game to read girls and know exactly what I want.

Below is a sample (a spreadsheet I keep, that I combed through the last 30 minutes at work) that is out of 22 bangs from tinder:
5 were first date bangs
7 were 2nd date bangs
8 were straight home bangs
12 were 2+ bangs and in my rotation at one point
8 were ONS's
8 were straight to home bangs, no date, no effort
1 HB 8 LTR (while I'm banging on the side)

I can't give a percentage, but I can tell you a good portion of my matches I have not hit up, because I don't see myself going after them. Even though I'm a sniper swiper and not a mass swiper. I only mass swipe when matches are slow for the week and I need to test to see if my account is working. I've deleted my account over 20 times between May and now because of the glitches.

Anyway, I'm admittedly very picky. So I don't feel like going all out for a girl unless she stuns me. If I don't get that jaw on the floor feeling, I usually talk with them for a little bit and the conversation dies out.

I'm not in this thing to bulk up my notch count. Maybe I'm being naive, but I'd like to think at some point, I'd match with a complete knockout (in my eyes) and get a fwb situation or something. The rest seems like a lot of work for not a lot of upside.

I'm not wasting time, money, and other shit on girls I'm lukewarm about at best.

My tinder broke.

When I log on it just sits at the screen where it says searching for other people and you can't access anything else.

I tried reinstalling it, deleting the facebook app , emailing their customer support and it does the same thing.

I'm on an older android phone.

Any ideas?

I'd be interested to read your guide because those are some good stats. I've been using it for 3 months now and while I've converted a few girls none of them have been SNL's and certainly not straight to my place bangs.
I think my approach is wrong and I'm not being aggressive/sexual enough in the early stages of the encounter.
