I've realized that yes, if I'm very picky in my swiping, I get more matches when I eventually do swipe right. The only time you should be mass swiping right is if you haven't gotten matches in a while and need to test if your shit is even working.

Which is where I'm at now (again). I downloaded a mass liker too, to see what I would get. Mass liked over 2000 girls. Not one match. Not even a bot. So, once again, for whatever reason, my account is not being shown.

I would delete it and start over but even THAT has its bugs. The last time I deleted account and tried to start over, it wouldn't accept my cell phone number to register and would keep saying an error occurred. That lasted about 2 weeks. So I'm hesitant to delete the account. I delete the app and reinstall it everyday, however. But nothing changes.

My frustration is this thing has so much potential, not just for me personally, but overall. It really can take over okc, pof, and the like as a new, low pressure/low investment form of dating. Swipe left if no, swipe right if yes. How simple and to the point is that? And you can only message people you've matched with? It really can make a dent in the dating world. And they're even working on a premium version of the app where you pay a little something for bonus features.

But if they are to seriously contend with the bigger dating apps, they absolutely must clean up the bugs. The bugs will be the death of this thing if they don't get their shit together. You can't charge people a premium for a glitchy app. No one's gonna buy into that shit.

Stick your DSLR on a tripod in a well-lit area. Use the longest focal length lens you have at the smallest-numbered (widest) aperture. Take a headshot.

See my solution above, download the Tinder 2.2.1 version APK before they put in that SMS verify, and use it to wipe your profile off their system. Then clear out the app and re-create it. Update to the Play store version and voila.

Been noticing a disturbing trend on this app with single mothers. Every now and then the only pictures that show up with them are of their kid(s).

Move to whatsapp asap and make sure to check out their photo. It's often more realistic and accurate than the 'curated' tinder pics they put up.

Not possible, Apple has it locked down. I would suggest installing bluestacks and doing it the android way. All you need to do is get into it for 5 minutes to erase your tinder account from the system.

Americans, what are your reply rates on matches? I had a lower match % on NYC tinder compared to Australia, but almost every single girl I messaged replied which is not the case in Oz, where getting the match is a guarantee of nothing. Basically Australia: more matches, but the majority of girl's don't reply. New York: less matches, but almost every single girl replies. Quality of both girls on the app and my matches higher for the former and lower for the later. I'm trying to figure out which state of affairs is "normal" in different locations.

First thing I noticed: In Australia the quality of girls on Tinder is higher than the average girl on the street. I dont think you can say there are benchmarks for all men. The place to start would be age brackets, then possibly race, etc. I lean more on Tinder while I work a lot and for travel, and it works well. But meeting women in real life always yields better results.

My last round I have had my profile up for 5 days, and have 350 matches in an older age range, as I am looking for easy non-committals. If I am willing to work, I tend to lower the age range to 20-28. Last year at the range within a few months I had 2000+ matches. Depends on where you are. When I travel to NYC, 1 mile is good for about 10 minutes of swiping, if that. 5 gets you another 20 minutes worth of swipes before it says no one new in your area. Then again I have a very strict age bracket. 19-26. I found I never match with girls over 25 despite being 27 myself, so I don't even bother and keep a small age range. A ridiculous amount (85% if I had to toss a number out) of my matches are 23 years old. Most of my matches fall into the 15 mile category. If I'm being specific, when I look at most of my matches, they seem to always fall between 11 and 13 miles away for some reason. When I set my radius for 5-10 miles, I get maybe a match a day, if I'm lucky. If I set it to 15, 8-10 a day.

I have the entire range possible, you'll rarely get older girls on it (they know they can't compete)

Most are 18-26 range.

I've noticed that the bots are becoming eerily good at appearing real for the first few messages. The tell is that they eventually respond with something that has no relation to what you said. Or they throw their number at you right away and the area code isn't even close.
