Yeah, I think I came on too strong and she thought I was a bit of a player, she kept saying I was a "nice guy" and she felt comfortable with me and she wanted more but wasn't going to do it. She was slightly less attractive than her pics and I didn't care all that much whether I got the bang or not, it felt like a practice/learning experience and she may have picked up on that.

Alright I've been thinking about what would have been a better game plan and removing obstacles. I could have met her out at a bar for a drink to let her have more comfort out in a social environment, done a venue change, then tried to bring her back to my place. It's not clear to me what the obstacles were, other than I suspect she figured if she had sex with me she wouldn't hear from me again. Maybe pulled back more when she was resisting? I don't think she would have pursued/initiated though.

The recipe of having them over to my place right off the bat has worked more times than not, but now that I think about it the girls are more invested and enthusiastic when we do something else first, most enthusiastic was after I took her to a burlesque show first. I had no clue I was this chick's first date in two decades, it threw me off a bit when she told me that 10 minutes into the date. I also had just read through LINUX's Columbia thread from last year and was thinking about sexy Latina's, communicating with my eyes and smile, language barriers. But of course I'm no LINUX. It worked to a degree but likely wasn't fully congruent with the rest of my personality. I've been so slow and reserved and afraid of being rejected when it comes to girls for my entire life, it feels good to be giving a lot less of a fuck and figuring out who I really want to be. When a girl reaches out with whatever reason she contacts you (how ya been? How's the project been going? How's your parents? etc) it's just womanese for "hey it's me! I'm ready for you to pay attention to me or (in most cases) hope you'll ask me to do something with you"

Don't apply logic and pay attention to the content of their message because 9 times out of 10, they don't care about the content or question they asked. It's their way of getting you back in their lives.

And of course as you say above, sometimes maybe they just want to know they still can 'get you in the hook' with no real intention of seeing you. Fuck those games.

Got catfished earlier this week. It was crazy, I did everything I thought I should have done. Matched on Tinder, had her text me pics, she even followed me on snapchat, and she posted stories indicating that she looked like her pics. Nope, she had a busted smile and was at least 50 pounds heavier. I rechecked her snapchat stories, she had fucking dimples in them, but looked like a cow in real life. Granted, the angles were funky. I'm not even mad, I'm impressed with her photography skills. Don't see myself changing tactics, charging it to the game.

ALL men deal with this kind of shit - BUT it depends on how YOU deal in your response to it.

Some get frustrated, some get angry, some laugh it off, some next immediately, some thirstily try to reach out again.

That girl you kiss closed probably has someone else in her life.

A perfect example is you caught her right after a fight with her boyfriend, you approached her, got her validated, she kissed you to get back at her boyfriend, and now she's got you as an orbiter.

-Initial setup of meeting - she either flakes or reschedules.
