^^In photographs perhaps, in real life, no way.

Also black women don't hold fat better, that's just your mind playing tricks on you. Once you know what a fit chick looks like, you can tell right away who is fit and who isn't.
Moma 路 2016-05-18 15:03:00 路 #2202
BassPlaya, totally false. Black lizards hold fat better, their muscle tone allows the fat to not hang so horridly, given that both lizards are the same weight and height.

You must be looking at different lizards than I am here in NYC.

(A player uses whatever fits the occasion, but some prefer one style over others)

High energy direct - you see a girl, waste no time, come onto the girl with obvious sexual intent. Your proverbial player.

Low energy direct - Immediately warm, but lots of pausing on purpose. "Yeah, I'm talking to you, you tryna do something or what?"

High energy indirect - life of the party, chick wants to be around you, because everyone does. Will Smith

Low energy indirect - Denzel Washington in the equalizer. You mean business, but you're not advertising. You'll grab the layup, but you're not sprinting down the court.

WIA

High energy for sure. You gotta come correct with that aggression and strong frame, almost as if you're demanding her attention. High energy, indirect works best for me.

When you cross the river and see more diversity, the couplings are just as oddly matched. On the white side of dc, is routine to see a six foot tall white guy, professional, with a mediocre chick. Maybe she gives great head, I have no idea.
WIA, do you find it hard to bring girls to your area in EOTR DC? The reputation for that area is bad (likely overhyped) which would make hard to suggest a girl to come to your area.

If I have to, sure.
But usually it's happening at her place because it's closer to the venue.

Screening is essential. I don't escalate anything until I know she lives on the solo and can "entertain".

Luckily, DC is full of ladies who have their own money, cars, and homes.

This.
I'm the guy laughing boisterously loud af, smoking a cigar, chopping it up with associates. Nothing like cracking a few raunchy ass jokes to set the tone. I've literally had chicks approach just to see what all the ruckus is about because, clearly, she's missing out something, lol.

This fits my natural personality the most. I like to tell funny stories, crack jokes, and have fun. If it's karaoke I'll go all out and sing whatever I love to my heart's content. Standing still and looking cool has always been so boring to me. It's a PARTY!

Funny enough, I kinda got this directly from both my parents. It's a Caribbean thing.

What do you fellas think about teeth? Is it a huge issue in game? I have a slightly crooked front tooth, and I'm wondering if it's hurting me.
DimeBait 路 2016-05-19 11:47:00 路 #2210
Good teeth, like good looks & physique do help, but don't necessarily hinder, unless you let it.
If it's an issue for you, get that joint fixed. It'll improve your inner -game, knowing you take care of business and solve issues.

What are you guys thoughts on personality screening?

I can't stand laborious gaming where I'm putting in asymmetrical energy just for the pussy.
I don't know if I'm getting old or what, but If a chick lacks good conversation and interpersonal skills, I find myself less interested in the pussy.
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-05-19 12:43:00 路 #2212
Personality screening, now we're talking game.

Your particular comment about trying to bang a chick where communicating with her is like pulling teeth

I come into a situation assuming that a girl that is around her friends and family is a chatterbox.

Rapport is the state of the conversation where information flows freely between the two parties

Comfort means trust. She trusts you with her physical safety, trusts that you won't jump on her, trust that you won't harm her, trust that you won't hurt her emotionally

You can have one without the other.

A girl can open, can be attracted, without giving you trust or comfort.

Provocation

You can provoke attraction. Call her out, puts you in a spot, she jumps on it, but the way that you easily flip it on her sparks sexual attraction.

So if the we assume that a chick can be open, chatty, and warm

And we assume that she's sexually attracted on some level otherwise she'd leave our presence

And we know we can provoke attraction

Then let's try to provoke comfort and rapport

How?

We have tools.

Jokes to make her laugh, and we then pounce on the fact that she laughed. I would then make a statement that forces her to react and get her emotionally involved.

"You would laugh at that" - a statement like that requires her to respond. And that is your opening

You could go straight to the cold read, observation, statements that inspire - and comment on her reaction.

*Dimebait knows all this, I write for the benefit of the lurkers

DB's question is when you run good solid game, but the girl doesn't open in a way that you're used to.

- Read her body language. If her body is open, then you can still connect. If her body language is closed, she is trying to make you leave because somewhere after her being positive to you talking to her, something happened.

- Consider her social situation in the moment. Did she come with hating ass Henrietta? Hen dog is not gonna let her talk to some random dude. So think about who she's with. Or who might be watching. Can you get her to take a smoke break or go to the upstairs bar. Sometimes changing to give her more privacy from prying eyes is all she needs to let the dam break

- Escalation - you're all jokes and stories, but have you flirted, have you laid hands on the girl? Verbal and physical escalation can get her out of listener mode and into participator mode.

So four basic moves
- statements of provocation
- moving her to a new location
- verbal escalation
- physical escalation

There's more game to be told here, but these are the first four i thought of

THIS! In retrospect, I'm probably doing more entertaining than interacting. Even if she has decent conversation and interpersonal skills, why bother using them if I'm putting all the work.

Any style tips for a young guy (18-21)?

When I look around, guys my age are mostly wearing sneakers, jeans, and graphic tees. I went through that phase in high school. When I look at pictures of the high school me, I cringe a little. Though I no longer wear graphic tees, my style hasn't improved a lot since high school either.

I also don't wanna suit up. I just think that, at my age, it might be a little too early for that. I don't know. Basically, how can I look more "mature" without overdressing or looking older than I actually am? How did you guys dress when you were in your early 20s?
DimeBait 路 2016-05-19 15:32:00 路 #2215
Though I am older, I've been rocking solid color v-necks t-shirts (usually black or blue) or if it's a Ralph Lauren I'll wear brighter colors along with some khaki or cargo type shorts. I think its age ambiguous enough to make you look older and me look younger.
You can wear a pair loafers, tennis shoes, or flip-flops along with it.

@Huey

Check these guys out

http://streetetiquette.com/

It's very fashionable..recreate the looks, don't buy the products. And real rap, some of the stuff you need to make a bit more masculine, imo.

Young dude styles
- A$ap Rocky - skinny, labels
- d boy lite
- athlete
- subculture like skater, hipster, underground mc, prep, etc

A lot of these bleed together, but try out the ones that look interesting, not just the ones you like. If you go with stuff you like, you'll look the same. It's a hard box to get out of

That makes sense. I live in the suburbs of DC so I'll incorporate that into my game. What neighborhood in the DC area do you think is the best logistic wise for game purposes?

The thing about graphic tees is that they can be outdated, depending what you have on them. I always wanted one of those tees with the rolling stones lip symbol on it.

My friend bought me a Black Sabbath concert t-shirt. Would you believe some guy at the gym came up to me and said "he didn't think I would be into them". LOL

I try to stick to solid colours, then again I am a old guy.

Depends on your type of girl, but I'd say for average guys

E-W - Dupont to Shaw
N-S - Columbia Heights to Downtown

But unless you can afford and want to spend 2500 month rent for 1/1, most guys are priced out.

When searching for, or in an LTR, do you guys discriminate based on her income? Are you guys getting into LTRs with hot dime pieces, career women, or a combination of both?

When it comes to building a long term legacy in terms of financial security and long term stability, can minority men afford to be wifing up women who don't bring some type of (non sexual) asset to the bargaining table?

Is the trophy wife worth it or is it just another unnecessary expense that can be done away with and replaced with something more practical?

That's a complicated question.

1) She makes too little money, she's a burden while you're dating. That will only increase if you LTR her, and knock her up.

2) She makes too much money
- at first it's fine...but then it's not
- if she sets her hooks into you, she can manipulate you with words, sex, and money.
- if she's competitive, or not observant - she is gonna always want the best of the best.

3) You make the same amount roughly - She's less interested in you if money is a concern of hers.

4) She starts out poor and then gets rich (student becomes a doctor) - balance changes.

5) You start rich (relative) and go through a rough patch - suddenly the love ain't there no more.

6) Same level, She is fine with you making nothing now, but expects you to make a lot more.

These are the ones I can think of in 2 minutes.

Money is the #1 thing married couples fight about and break up over.
- spending too little
- spending too much
- not saving/investing
- her monetary expectations not being met.
- economy changes

Wherever you start with a chick in terms of her money expectations, recognize that they change - but usually you need more than her for her to be happy.

So she might make low 6 figures, but you need to make high 6 figures at the start and continue to make more.

And a lawyer that takes home 4,000 a week is not the same as a stripper who takes home 4,000 a week. And the lawyer isn't the same as the doctor.

How she makes her money, the hours she spends, who she spends it with....

Say you're some mid level executive and you're dating a real estate agent. Your money is steadily going up over time, but her money is feast or famine. She'll make a grip one month, more than you...then nothing else. And if you know people in that industry, a lot of RE agents like to show off/have to show off. They have to look successful before they even are successful sometimes.

So she's getting that Benz lease when she's making used Toyota Camry money. That 500 bucks for the note, 200 for the insurance, 200 for the gas... that means whatever resources she has to spend on the two of you (groceries/meals out...) are less.

Her money is her money
Your money is "our" money.

You might think you want to date rich, or better yet rich and educated..ideally from a "good" family, and with good credit.....But those chicks have a tendency to get involved in making your financial decisions. Making you think about the sedan instead of the coupe. Real subtle stuff.

...........

So when it comes to screening, when she's trying to work her way up the roster you have to take note of
- how selfish she is
- how careful or careless she is
- education and educational path
- job/career path

Say you meet a nice chick, but she works for an actual newspaper. The writing is on the wall when it comes to that. If you pick her long term, she's going to be jobless at some point. Her not having work not only takes away from the household finances - but can wreck her emotionally - and now you have to pick up the pieces.

I don't have a good answer here about what to look for, but definitely what to avoid.

Great question.
In my personal experience, linking up with someone on a lower socioeconomic level is a recipe for failure. However, there are women out here who are ambitious enough to want to learn and grow with you.

My ex-wife never finished college and had no desire to. She was content with just existing, whereas I had big dreams and the passion to achieve them. I remember her balking at my business ideas, or pointing out all the obstacles of my goal of becoming a lawyer with only an AA degree at the time. Quite frankly she was a phucking hater. Though she's cool now and we're friends, she never remarried, and is alone to this day and knows she phucked up.

Fastforward several years, I met my s/o with whom I'm still (barely) with today. She was older and than I and well established. I was 32, she was 40. She encouraged me to go back to school and supported my aspirations. Admittedly, she was dating down, however I was quickly on the rise.
I finished school, started businesses, and ascended through the professional, social and political ranks in my city. Her ambition (which is what initially attracted me to her) was probably just a mirror of my own, has all but ceased. Unfortunately, I have surpassed her, and to be honest, deep down, I perceive a bit of animosity.

I don't suspect my current LTR will last much longer, and I've set my sights on either a high achiever like myself who is not threatened or in competition with me, or alternatively, a mid-to late-twenty-something on the rise that just needs a little bit of guidance.

I can personally tell you that in business, and in life, men are judged by there wife or s/o. It may not be conscious, but when a successful confident man has a dime (who is also smart), he is received better as opposed to someone with a wolf.

Think Frank Underwood from House of Cards (if you haven't watched it, you should). Claire held it down for his ass and parked her own aspirations until he came up now she's busting out.

It's too many grade-A sisters out here to be saving hoodrats. Also, screen for women who were raised with a father. It's probably harder to find this than finding a successful woman. Chics with daddy issues are the worst, and the issues manifest in ways that will have you subconsciously questioning your ability to hold it down. That was a correlating mistake I will never make again.

-My .02 cents
Moma 路 2016-05-20 17:32:00 路 #2223
Djemba, this is an excellent question and one that one must consider as going forth. We cannot afford to bring deadweight on the team and as I get older, I'd rather just go to sleep than deal with a lizard that I perceive as an obvious burden. Her lot never gets better, it diminishes and this is important for guys to keep in mind when they decide whether to hold on or kick her loose.

I would lean towards a lizard with money.

I used to date a female lawyer in the 6 and she was making six figures comfortably which is a lot for the 6 where I think the average income might be around 40K per annum or so. At times she paid for certain expenses of mine, and flossed the home she had bought and the car that she owned as a way of claiming me. I find that lizards tend to adopt the personality of the job that they have been doing for a while so she did try to flex lawyerese on me but those of you who may know me, realise that words are not my limitation in life.

My way of keeping her in check was to remind her indirectly that I am a chieftain so she can never truly own me. My culture as well as my vast world travels were my way of matching up and most career people (unless their career involves a lot of relocation around the world) have not had the life experiences I have had. It's a trade that one must weigh up when deciding whether to stack papers or experience.

To conclude, in managing a lizard with money, one has to remember that they are the man and not go running towards the money as the be all and end all. Something I dislike about modern society is how many men big up lizards with a lot of money, willing to compromise values to get with them. A lot of men say they would fcuk Oprah and put her up on the pinnacle as the prize item. They do the same for Khloe Kardashian who, no disrespect but has a big chin and is extremely average looking. Fcuk if she is famous. Men and lizards are not the same. We need each other but let's NEVER forget that we are men. Adopt my mindset in dealing with rich lizards and knowing when to pull the cord.

In my experience, it depends. I know many women from my country who were poor when they married their husbands, but they all had the drive to help their husbands in any way to be better than the other women from their towns.

I think that it really depends on what the culture is. My mother was poor and when she came to the USA, she let no time pass before she went to further herself.

I would say that what the important thing to look for is what she does in the face of opportunity. Those nobody ratchet women are bad because they do nothing despite the possibilities that this great country offers
Moma 路 2016-05-20 17:55:00 路 #2225
Soundbyte, you make a very valid point. All of a sudden, I have an interest in seeing what it is like procuring a Russian lizard. A lot of you guys go on about how cunning they are but now it intrigues me.
