Yea this ones a write off , once u react in that way she automatically sees u as a bitch ,learn from this and move on indifference is a powerful reaction that would of worked better

To the guys writing about text being weak I would disagree u can get right into a girls head if u message her while she's in bed in the night and u are left being the last person she thinks about as she goes sleep and she will be the one to message u the next day because u become all she can think about, at this point u can ignore the message for a few hours just to keep the hamster running

Just got this gem from the girl that I have been talking to for about two months:

Me: Good comeback I admire your wit (in reference to a joke we made earlier) 11:58 AM 8/6

Her: That's not. However I don't admire the amount of time it takes for you to reply to a text 12:09 PM 8/6

The text above was in response to a text she sent the day before (it was over a day before I texted her back)

How to proceed? I feel despite her angry text I'm maintaining frame and slowly reeling her in.

I think the more important question here is have you banged her yet? Sounds like you could be in text game hell, and she is just wasting your efforts. I'd say next this hoe if that is the case.

Got a number from a girl on my flight back to Sweden and texted her the standard Roosh opener:

Me: Hey y, it's x, how's it going?
Her: Hi there! Not bad, thanks. Trying to catch up on paperwork since I came back from holidays. How about you?

Now, was going to reply something along the lines of

"Let's say that I was close to destroying my alarm clock these past mornings hehe But all good, getting back to the routines, gym, work etc. It's weird to say it, but it's actually pretty good to be back... except the weather Tongue Anyway, let's get a drink this week, how does Thursday sound?"

Still a newbie, so question, am I putting in too much ramble into the message?

The Hank Moody guide to text messaging...

1. Texting with women you're trying to bang (or are currently banging) is different than texting with your male friends. Texts with my male friends tend to be long, thoughtful, express cogent thoughts, and are well punctuated. They're similar to my posts on this message board. I say things like "Thank you" or "Good to see you today, bud" and sometimes even use exclamation points (sparingly).

Comparatively, my text messages with women are short, and often non-existant.

Common go to: "yes" "nope" "ok" "cool" or "good stuff". Next common go to: nothing. Most of my texts with women are logistical. "lets grab drinks tonight. wine bar 7pm." If they send me something like "Great to see you tonight, Hank!" I usually don't respond.

That said, if you text your guy friends like you text women, it's going to piss them off and you're not going to have a lot of guy friends. Comparatively, if you text women like you text your guy friends (openly, honestly), they're going to view you as a female.

2. Less is more with women. This crib sheet of game works well for the n00bs:

https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2014/03/...t-of-game/

3. No one ever got laid from being a "great texter." But endless amounts of guys have been friend-zoned by being a horrible texter. Here is how to get friend-zoned over text message -

"Hi! I'm thinking about you!"
"Hey! Just want to see how your day is going."
"How is your day going? Smile"
"Would you like to go out to dinner with me? I'd love to see you! Smile"
"Hi beautiful! Can I see you tonight?"
"HAHAHAHA your cat is SO funny! This picture made my day! Smile"
"I just want to let you know how much I care about you, and how much you mean to me. I'm SUPER angry that you were flirting with Dave, but at the end of the day blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"

No, no, no, no, and no. She's thinking in her head "What a giant blubbering vagina" not "Awww, he's so sweet! I'll give him the best blowjob of his life tonight!"

She's actually fretting over Dave the guy with all the tattoos who doesn't respond to her 50 text messages about how her cat did this thing, wondering what he's doing and why he won't respond.

4. Here are my basic rules of text engagement:

- No capitalization, and don't worry about grammar. Keep it ambiguous. Don't be afraid to ignore a few text messages. You don't need to respond to every mundane thing she sends you about her cat or the trip to the dentist.
- Absolutely no emocons, exclamation points, or question marks.
- Short. Less is more. If you have the need to express yourself, start a blog, post on this forum, or submit an article to ROK.
- Do not send text messages about mundane shit. "My cat just did this thing!" or "Mark from accounting is so silly!" If you have the need to write about your day, text your male friends.
- Use commands mostly. "Do you want to get dinner?" is a bad text. "lets grab dinner tonight at wine bar around 7" is much better.
- Zero emotion. I know, you're SUPER happy and you just SO want to tell her how AWESOME!!! she is. No.
- When in doubt, don't respond. If she's interested, she'll send you like 50 more texts.
- Attempts to be witty usually make you come off like a nerd who is trying too hard.
- I know there is this rule about "response time." Text whenever you feel like it. Sometimes I respond instantly, sometimes I respond hours later, sometimes I don't bother to unlock my phone and say anything. I don't think about it too much.
- Don't sweat texting too much. Women love to text all about their day, they send you elaborate messages, cat pictures, selfies, etc. Your general attitude should be "whatever, I'm busy doing important shit."

5. Bottom line - act like a man.

Men and women are different. If you're sending her long, stupid, emotional text messages you're texting like a woman. And she doesn't want a woman, she wants a man. Chances are she has a lot of beta orbiters texting her day and night. But you have my assurance she's not fucking them, because she views them as "one of the girls."

Text her like a man, not like one of her girlfriends.

I didn't get a response so I went with:

Me:Let's say that I was close to destroying my alarm clock these past mornings hehe Looking out the window and wishing I was back in Portugal... I'm going into hibernation, can you wake me up next summer?
Her: I've been also struggling to get out of bed and this weather ain't helping the process hehe Oh gosh, brace yourself, we haven't pulled through November yet... looks like a long, long winter ahead... maybe a winter holiday to some exotic destination sounds better than hibernationSmile
Me: heh admit it, you're a huge GoT nerd Wink I've got some ideas of exotic destinations, let's grab a dink and I'll tell you all about them. How about thursday after work?
Her: Haha, I'm not sure if I have the right qualifications to fall into any given category of nerds lol I'm actually quite busy this week, not sure if I can make it...

So, it seems like she is interested, at least to talk, however she did not suggest another time to meet up. Should I suggest it myself or next her?
Just Approach · 2015-08-11 16:02:00 · #1690
Am I the only one who has a rule that suggest only texting a girl for logistical purposes and after fucking her as a confirmation that she is okay and not gonna try to switch her story up later on?

Basically if I can't set a meet up with her within 10 messages I just stop texting and eventually just delete the number because I feel I have already wasted to much time talking to her without having a meetup set up.

Some of these girls will try to turn you into a texting buddy without ever really planning to actually meet you and thus turning you into a time hoe.

That's why I just have a personal goal to set the meet up within 10 text messages and if she doesn't agree then I just move on to talking to the other girls who are more down to meet up.

You did too much rambling in the previous messages.

She also already gave you an early rejection heads up that she is not trying to meet you.

Look at what I bolded above. You already suggested a time to meet up and she already rejected with no counter offer.

I would personally just stop messaging her right there as she already said the whole week she is going to be busy. This is a classic line girls use to reject guys who want to meet up through text.

Just move on to talking to other girls who actually want to meet up with you.

If she hits you up again only respond in a manner that shows that you're trying to meet up and if she doesn't accept and says something like she's bust again just delete the number and she is trying to use you as her time ho.

Embarrassingly, I met the girl I'm currently seeing on OkCupid.

She's open about the fact that she liked that I asked her to meet up after about two messages, and was extremely direct the entire time.

It was like "you seem cool, let's go out this week. 7pm at Joe's."

All that online banter? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Way too much texting, dude. Smiley faces are a no no. You're acting like one of her girlfriends, so she'll see you as one.

Actual text exchange today, about a minute ago:

Her: The hotel has a pool which means it must have a hot tub. Score!
Her: File Transfer: IMG_8075.JPG (picture of her in a bathing suit)
Her: Researching dinner for Friday night
Her: I like this place
Her: Baby I want Pho
Her: How many Vietnamese noodles can I consume in one week?
Me: cool

Also, don't ask her if she wants a drink. Tell her. That entire exchange should have been "cool. lets grab drinks tomorrow around 8pm at jazz bar."

Proceed how you want, but unless you change your style asap, I don't think she is as interested as you think.

If you have already built attraction and comfort, there is no reason to be texting this much.

I didn't do any surgery on Just Approach or Hank Moody guidelines, but they appear to be good to go for someone that has no idea how to not fuck things up. I don't really put that much thought into what I text to these girls. They aren't listening anyway.

In truth, if you are genuinely busy and working hard at improving your life, most of this works itself out. Just remember the jumbotron test and you're golden.

In almost every "what next" example on this page, I'd say just get her back to your place in one message or forget about it.

Example-

She: do you think bread that comes in two bags is worth it? I'm trying to go organic, have you tried veggies from the farmers market?
G: just got home. Come over

That's it. Nothing more. Take it or leave it. I am currently having more issues making time for them than vice versa. Ideally, you want to RECEIVE:

"I'll be in [your city] this weekend. What are you up to?"

or... "I just wanted to see you again was all. So you can tell me when you're free Smile"

or... "We don't have to go out. We could just hang out and swim one night. Or something."

That's my 3 from this afternoon and I just now had a chance to respond briefly several hours later. If I text back more than a few words, I know they'll send 4 more messages back. Fuck that noise when I'm trying to get shit done during business hours.

Everyone has their own style, so just try different things. I do not enjoy texting, and if I got that "why'd it take you so long to reply" shit test, I'd be very clear how this is going to work and tell her not to send that again. If I had already dumped a fuck in her and she wasn't my favorite, that might be the last text she sends me. I like nice women and I treat them well, but I don't have patience for someone who selfishly thinks they deserve to be on my front burner all the time.

I agree with pretty much all of this as a standard principle in text game, but I think the points about the long, fluff texting with emoticons and general wit are breakable. Especially when the chick you are texting is 18-20. 90% of these chicks are attention deficit and need this kind of texting for you to initially engage or re-engage them. As Travesty demonstrated recently.

Got a tall brunette's number at whole foods today. Solid 8. had her enter her digits and name and did a quick Facebook check. She's a track, pole vault girl for her college (major university) so pretty high value girl. It was a friendly exchange with her asking me a few questions. She started to walk off and said 'I'll see you around here' I beckoned her back and asked for number. She asked me if I had 'my card' I told her they were being printed but why don't I get her number the traditional way. She entered on my phone quite cooperatively; just a bit of background

My thoughts were to text her today ...hopefully get a response (which I did) and hit her up in a few days for drinks/coffee

so...

I text her an hour after getting the number:

Me at 6.23 pm: Hey Katie...enjoyed talking with you at whole foods today. Thanks for the juice tips - robreke

Her at 9.52 pm: You too! See you at Whole Foods again I'm sure. God bless

.....sounds a bit like an easy let down. Ignore and go for meet up like normal or address her 'parry' of seeing me at whole foods again?

I didn't even go for the bang...as I decided to do long game on her and I could tell she was a little off guard when I first took her. However, once I got her to the pool and were drinking she was enjoying herself. I also got a good kiss goodnight.

That is so much fucking work, though.

I look at it in terms of ROI (return on investment). My Laconic text game serves me well, and often causes the hamster wheel to run on overdrive. It's easy and takes zero time. It's foolproof.

Do I lose a bang or two here and there? Probably. I'm sure some orbiter who spent hours texting her back and forth while I seemed too disinterested got the bang here and there. It happens.

Do I gain a bang or two? Definitely. Too many girls are like "What is this guy's major malfunction? Why isn't he obsessing over me like Joe Beta? I will suck his dick like it's never been sucked before and THEN he will pay attention to me!"

Practically, I actually have better things to do with my time than send elaborate text messages. Even if it's writing elaborate posts on here or ROK.

That said, I find my Laconic text game is usually better suited for LTRs than initial bangs. It usually becomes more Laconic as the relationship goes on. I ignore her for a day and then I'm like "yo babe, lets grab dinner tonight at wine bar. i should be free around 830."

Hot girls are used to guys texting them up like crazy, using all kinds of emojis, available at their beck and call. I make my time and affections sparse.

I missed the good old days where you can call a girl and schedule a meet up.

Nowadays these Bitches are scared to pick up the phone to talk because they lose their ability to pretend like their important.

They lose the ability to text back whenever they feel like it.

A persons voice shows a persons mood, tone, etc... you can hear if she is excited or not to meet up and if her voice is annoying after a while.

I hate having to play texting gymnastics with these bitches through texting as it is a complete waste of time and not what I feel like doing.

I remember a few years ago before I started gaming girls on a mass level that every text message I sent a girl was sincere with her name on it and properly written sentences with little to no grammatical errors. Occasionally if i thought she was doing a good job engaging in the conversation I would throw a couple of emoticons in the mix for our long texting session filled with long paragraphs. But texting girls like that put me in the friend zone so often that it pissed me off and made me realize that I was doing all the work asking all the questions, being a time ho for her as those girls kept me as a texting buddy rather than a fucking buddy.

There comes a breaking point where you are getting a horrible return on your time talking to a girl and trying to get laid with her that you then say "Fuck This Bitch" and move to bigger and better things.

When I started gaming girls I learned to stop caring to about texting them in a friendly manner.

That is when I adapted the 10 messages rule to my text game as it quickly weeds out the girls who waste time and want you to spend weeks to months messaging them some rapport building bullshit just for them to even consider actually meeting you up even though they are most likely fucking someone on the side.

Now if she can't schedule a meetup with me within 10 messages and within 7-10days of meeting her I automatically delete the number and don't look back.

Don't fall for the traps they set like "let me check my work schedule later this week, or im pretty busy, tired, friend, studying, etc...

Believe me if a girl really wants to see you and fuck you she will make time in her schedule to do so.

Went out, met some chick went back to hers, encountered lots of lmr, but she said she'd be up for doing something a few days later

I'm 26, shes 36, but looks around 30

The text convo after went like this:

me - "hey, you still up for doing something on thursday"

her - "hey frenchcorporation, i am sorry but I don't think I can make thursday, I think i am a bit too old for you. Sorry"

Im just curious to see if I can pull it around, even if choose to not reply, I'd like to know what I can do if something happens again

You can go extra-careful (low confidence, beta)

"I like older women"

Or you can go ballistic (high confidence, alpha)

"True that, I'm into college freshman girls."

Too bad you've got only one hit.

I'll try out the second option if this happens again with some other chick

Shit tests:

I've been dealing with a lot of "shit tests" recently. and in general it feels like I don't have a good handle on the FRAME by which to respond. Obviously each situation is different, but I think it's fair to say that every single guy on this forum has been put through and dealt with shit tests at one point in their development.

A recent example:

A few days ago, I opened a cute Latin girl standing at a bus downtown in the early evening, around 6 pm. I pretended to be lost. "Excuse me, do you know exactly which bus to take to get to Pine street?" She wasn't sure, but was receptive to my approach and we get to talking. Turns out she just moved here three weeks ago, from NYC (which is where I'm from too). She was meeting a new girl friend of hers for dessert, not far from the bus stop. I suggest we go for a walk to get there. She agreed.

We chat on the walk. I'm taking OregonToSoCal's approach to communicating which is letting her talk about her future, her dreams. I made a few jokes when it seemed to fit (When she told me she was the same age as me, I said, "Well it's too bad this won't work out. I'm specifically looking for an older woman to wine and dine me."). We meet her friend at a dessert place and the three of us sit to eat. For about 45 minutes. When I had an interesting story to share, I did. When I wanted to flirt with the friend, I did that too ("Do you go to the gym? Let me see your arm. Now flex."). I didn't dominate the conversation. Nonetheless, the girl seemed more interested in her new friend than me, so be it.

For example, at one point the friend said, "I'll be back to Vegas this weekend", the girl pouted and said, "You mean you aren't going to spend time with me?". And so on. Regardless, after we left dessert, the girl said she wanted to hang out with me again. I told her I had to get dinner now. So we exchanged numbers. I saved my number in her phone with something like "NYC guy with cool stache" and called my phone from hers. She laughed and said, "I'll text you later".

Here's the conversation. On the advice of many in this forum, and a few text message guides I've read, I'm trying to be more playful before jumping into logistics. What to text next?

Full conversation:

Thursday
Her [8:40 pm]: "How was the tacos?!"
Me [9:42 pm]: "Great as always. Youtube vids w roommates and South Park"
Her [9:44 pm]: "Lol sounds fun"
Her [9:44 pm]: "Now I'm hungry lol"

Saturday
Me [12:17 pm]: "Hey just got out of the gym I'm going for big Schwarzenegger muscles Wink You found a gym too."
(In conversation, she mentioned she was looking for a gym.)
Her [12:20 pm]: "Heyyy I just finished my zumba class"
Her [12:20 pm]: "I'm so hyped right now lol"
Me [12:26 pm]: "We're both sweaty. Tho a girl once told me women don't sweat."
Her [12:27 pm]: "That's a damn lie lol"
Me [12:32 pm]: "Haha. Anyway there's this great coffee shop I found in ABC neighborhood. Want to meet up Sun at 6 pm."
Her [12:33 pm]: "There's actually a Brazilian festival tomorrow."
Her [12:33 pm]: "Wanna go?"
Me [1:22 pm]: "Sounds cool. But I have two imp conf calls tmrw afternoon."
Her [1:34 pm]: "Oo ok cool."
Me [2:02 pm]: "Yea it's for a nonprofit I started with another guy in nyc in 2011"
Her [2:10 pm]: "O nice! Well yea just let me know"
Her [2:10 pm]: "Are you doing anything tn?"

I decided to just pick up the phone and call her to hash out logistics. I called her around 6 pm. I told her I have plans tonight with someone but I'm free tomorrow evening, would that work for her? She said yes and told me to have fun tonight. I ended by saying I'd text her tomorrow with the location.

Sunday
Me [12:07 pm]: "Hey coffee shop on X street and Y avenue, at 6 pm"
Her [3:59 pm]: "Heyy"
Her [4:00 pm]: "I went out last night and had too many drinks lol"
Her [4:00 pm]: "So i feel like crap been in bed all day so I don't think I'll be able to make it.. Sad"

She didn't respond directly to my initial offer for coffee (instead she invited me to the Brazilian festival). Second, she didn't propose another time after cancelling.

What I originally thought was text, "Maybe another time." But now that I think about it, that line feels like a limp fish to me.

I reread a section from a text message guide I kindly received from forum member Huey (thanks man):

If she says something like: "I can't make it tonight I'm so sorry. Something came up."

I’ll respond with something along the lines of: "Oh my God! I don't know what I'm going to do! Looks like I'm going to have to cancel the Mariachi Band and figure out how to return this pony…”

The other idea from this book, and what I'm thinking of actually doing later tonight:

If she does no-show or cancel last minute, one option you have is to call her (you can call her right then or you can wait until after a few days have passed, depending on circumstances)

Sometimes I’ll call, other times I won’t reach out to her again unless she reaches out to me first. It really just depends on how much you like her, what the circumstances were in her cancellation, and how you feel about the whole situation.

If I’m going to call, I’ll just say something like "Yo, what's up? What's the deal?" I'll start kind of playful, but then I'll transition to actually being serious (not scolding, just not playful) and say something along the lines of, "So, what's your deal? I wanted to hang out, but I don't like people that are flaky. I totally understand if something came up, but let's just make plans and keep them or let’s just not make plans."

You want to do this in such a way where it's not angry. There’s no anger involved. It’s very much like, "I like you and it’d be cool to hang out, but I don't need this. I’m only interested in hanging out with people that make equal effort to see me. I don't want to have to hunt you down or chase you, so if that’s the situation let me know and we can just high five and part ways." And you're doing it nonneedily. You're just conveying the idea of, "What’s up, should we make plans or not?" But you're not making it a big deal.

Don't overcomplicate things by thinking too much about it. I've been guilty of this, (almost) always a waste of time and reality more prosaic than poetic. So, what happened? God knows, what happened. Perhaps she wanted to get banged, you turned down the offer, she went out, smashed with another guy so feels no urgency to smash again day after with another guy. This would explain her being keen on Saturday and mean on Sunday. Besides, why are you backpedalling with a coffee date? A seated coffee date is a boring date (unless you take a bookworm on a date). What you need is a drink date.

If she's really into you, don't reply and let her reach out to you. Otherwise, line up new leads, drum up some beats and text her 4-5 days down the line with your final offer with little expectation in return.

Attention Everybody ready this. Do not ever try the above with a girl. Remember girls do not take accountability for their actions and this will not make their pussies magically wet for you.

It shows that you don't have an abundance mentality, and don't have more DTF bitches lined up in your rotation.

I've made the mistake to talking to girls like a rational adult in the past and tried the above line about making plans and it failed many times. Once I was fortunate enough for a girl really self reflect on her efforts to meet me and she paid for our date and I ended up receiving a blowjob from her all though she was not good at giving a BJ.

But back to topic. You already fucked up when u are trying to hit her up for a boring coffee date when she is trying to invite you to a more entertaining Brazilian festival where their will be more opportunities to meet more better looking bitches their incase things don't go well with her.

Then she hits you up with the line about her going out the previous night drinking and can't make it out the following day. This is slut translation for -
I got stupid drunk last night and fucked some other guy who put way less effort into fucking me than you did. So Deuces maybe some other time.

Just run dread game on her. If she really wants to see you again she will hit you up. I'd actually suggest deleting her number so that you don't feel the urge to contact her and so you can move onto new bitches. Don't catch oneitis.

But remember to Always Be Replacing Not Chasing these Hoes.
