@WalterBlack
I've been wanting to see that movie, but I ended up watching Keanu today instead. It was a solid first movie from Key & Peele, but I think their biggest funny muscle still lies in sketch comedy.
I'm hoping to catch Civil War at a local drive-in. How did Civil War measure up to the other Marvel films?
Civil War is nice and fun, though quite bland. I have a feeling they just crammed as many Marvel characters as possible into it, which led to the story becoming needlessly convoluted and hard to follow. The ending is also rather anticlimactic as the whole movie gets stuffed into the "this basically never happened, we're back where we started" box.
It's a fine movie nowhere near the disaster of Batman V Superman, but at the end you'll probably be feeling a bit let down despite the solid entertainment.
I've been hearing is the best marvel film to date. Should be seeing it tomorrow.

I was listening to The Brazen Heads podcast #247.
Comment in summary:
I always say to girls how it's way easier it is to be a man than a woman. What I look for is for her to say you're crazy it's way easier to be a woman. If a girl says "I agree it's much better to be a man", it's a major red flag.
(point is not whether it's easier to be a man vs women, point is it's a great screening question)
Great podcast by the way.
Civil war tried to go deeper and have more discussions about right and wrong. At some point I just get numb to the special effects and fighting. I cannot imagine how crazy films will be in the future to out explode and out special effect the previous films.

I found out that Gerry Spence's book How to argue and win every time is finally available on kindle but when I tried to purchase it they said it's not available for my country (Vietnam).

I don't want to spoiler the film, but a lot of stuff changed as a result of story. I used to read Marvel comics as a kid and there were a couple of moments where I totally geeked out.

I'm going to guess the reason is that it's too hot. In SEA you see quite a few people with huskies and malamutes these days too. It's become the new trendy dog to own..which is unfortunate. It's hot as shit and unless the dog is indoors all day with air con blowing on them they are going to be miserable.
I think one of the signs that you have a lot of good quality friends is that, subconsciously, you think they are high value members of the forum. Y'all just haven't really talked about it yet.
I have a friend that is just getting back from extensive travel after being in NYC after Dallas- doing the independent thing while traveling through a bunch of cool locations. Sitting here talking to him with a bunch of bros, sounds just like the deal a lot of the cool expats/ travelers here roll into for a time.
Any product you gentlemen would recommend for stiff old leather?
I have this pair of fucking cool biker boots I havnt worn in a while. They are a little too unconfortable to wear from sitting in the closet for years.

Either Saphir Renovateur cream or some decent mink oil will get dry leather supple again. Brush off any loose dirt and then rub it in a small amount at a time.
Using mink oil will make it almost impossible to ever get a parade gloss on the boots, but for bikers it's not going to matter.
Put wooden shoe trees inside while they dry and they should loosen up nicely.
Thanks man, Ill search for mink oil, it might be a bit hard to find specific brands in my location.
You could probably find some good leather reconditioner/cleaner at the auto parts store.

Word of the day:
mien: a person's look or manner, especially one of a particular kind indicating their character or mood
When you see some dude walking down the street, you can tell by his mien that he's fucking cool. He's had to deal with the tension of jackin cars since he was 16.

That's exactly the problem. They are great animals, but bringing them here is just wrong. The seasons don't change.
If I lived in Nome Alaska and saw someone with a chihuahua on a leash i would also call them an asshole.

It was a fantastic movie, I won't give to much away but the ending sort of leads on the Avengers Infinity war and uneasy alliances.
Watching it last night was bad ass - I was rooting for Captain America - the antagonist flipped the script on the avengers.
Bucky being in it was pretty cool, at one point it got pretty dark.
Overall I'd say it was pretty cool, I wont watch it again in theaters, but I'll watch it at home since it's already on cam.

A very hot white hipsterish girl just invited me to a square dance.
After a little bit of research this appears to be popular in hipster hot spots like Seattle and Portland.
Is this an easy precursor to sex?
Am I going to have to square dance with homosexual men?
I have a feeling I'll just get into a fight. Should I even go?
Anybody here experience this?
Aloha!

Fuck it, just wing it.
Dance and have fun - if you aren't vibing bounce out.
Some of the most random nights can be the best memories you have.
Saw this on a blog I read, apparently its a common Russian joke
Quote:A new teacher comes into the class:
– My name is Abram Davidovich, I’m a liberal. And now all stand up and introduce yourself like I did …
– My name is Masha I'm a liberal …
– My name is Petia, I’m a liberal …
– My Little Johnny, I’m a Stalinist.
– Little Johnny, why are you a Stalinist? !
– My mom is a Stalinist, my dad is a Stalinist, my friends are Stalinists and I too am a Stalinist.
– Little Johnny, and if your mother was a whore, your father – a drug addict, your friends – homos, what would you be then in that case? !
– Then I would be a liberal.
Got a good chuckle out of me
