I have to say though, I'll always think fondly of the memories of the lengths myself and friends would go to get booze on, say, a Friday evening before a weekend. And then of course sneaking it around thinking we were being slick with everything we did. As if my RA thought I had Christmas bells in my backpack walking past him at 10pm on a Friday night.

Cherish those memories and welcome to the big leagues!
Now nobody cares that you can legally drink, expect if you wanna impress high schoolers (please don't).

Cheers brother!

Bars are good but overrated. Some of my best memories were at house parties or drinking in public when I was a teenager. Happy belated!

With new power comes great responsibility. Make your decisions wisely, in the event you have been a little bit loose. Things are permanent now.

Happy birthday!

Now you can get $15 wine from Specs instead of that $6 gas station shit for the freshman you bring into your dorm with you. Best of luck mate and cheers!

Better go visit the nearest microbrewery to piss off Travesty while you're at it. Join the beer snob side.

Whats up with the hundreds of posts which are just news items.

This should be the thread where people put silly little news stories that will get a handful of replies and then die of unimportance over time.

Scientists think they’ve found the secret to better poop transplants:

Quote:You know what's great? Fecal Microbiota Transplants. But while FMT — yes, literally the transplantation of one person's poo into another person's body — has already saved lives, the cutting-edge therapy is still only approved for treating one condition, and even then it doesn't always work. As part of a special issue on the bacteria that live in our guts, Science has just published a new study that takes a closer look at how FMT affects patients. The study, led by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, suggests that more personalized donor selection may be the key to better FMT.

How to deal with this chick like she wants me to text her everyday I guess like how is my day, blah blah?

And I'm into texting like for logistics only, when to meet her. She's mad at me because I really don't reply to her text. And I still didn't bang her, though.

Drama texting.

Is it hard to make 10,000 (yuan?) a month? That's like $1,500 US, app. 400 a week, that's less than minimum wage, I think.
So, dude could work at Mcdonald's and they'd be happy?
cascadecombo · 2016-05-07 22:06:00 · #17665
Hourly wage is probably vastly different between these countries.

I helped cook and manage an event tonight, it was a birthday for an elderly billionaire.

I met him. He's the 4th billionaire I've met and the 3rd in Vegas.

It was gratifying because he's the first one that's truly self-made. Started from the bottom 70-80 years ago.

The party was nuts. Tons of scantily clad dancers in 1920's flapper costumes dancing around, a smoking hot dancer with a perfect 10 ass doing these crazy poses in a human-sized champagne glass, a famous trumpeteer playing jazz with a kickass band, about 60 cases of vintage Dom Perignon, the works. All these old timers having a blast. (most parties for the wealthy elite I've seen are relatively boring and lackluster)

I won't say what industry, but he made his fortune flipping businesses. Learning his history I'd say the old school methods worked for him: hard work, persistence, patience, taking risks, diversifying. Had a few kids and got them involved in the business, made them learn it the hard way before letting them take on management.

Anyone watch the TV series Justified?

Almost done with it, and I really like the dynamic between the main protagonist, Rayland Givens, and the main antagonist, Boyd Crowder.

I watched the series all the way through up until the series finale last year. The first four seasons were great, but I could tell season 6 suffered after the mediocrity that was season 5.

I was expecting a more bombastic finale instead of the low key ending it got. The last shootout should have been between Boyd and Raylan with only one of them walking away alive. Ava deserved more punishment than what she got too.

That is pretty cool, I doubt you had time to interview his kids, etc. But it would be awesome if they were well balanced and hard working.

Glad to hear you are doing well Veloce. Seems like you are killing it in Vegas.

A McDonalds' worker in China earns around $150 per month, certainly not more than $250.

To make $1500 / month, a Chinese dude would have to be either a successful freelancer working online for a US-based business or have a really great job with plenty of connections. I strongly doubt more than 10% of Chinese men are in that kind of situation!

In recent years the New York Times the liberal limousine bastion of group think has gone full retard when it comes to asian countries calling them all "racist" for daring to be homogenous and not letting in violent islamist monkeys.

To a large degree NE Asia has rejected these "multicultural" values and SE Asia regularly deports "tourists" from various middle eastern, central asian, and african nations who misbehave.
