First couple to sit next to me is a Russian couple. The guy is early to mid 30’s, attractiveness level is a 6. The girl is mid 20’s with long hair and a petite frame, attractiveness level is a solid 7. They sit often in silence with only the occasional talking. She reaches her hand out in a motion to ask for his hand but he only glances at her and then ignores her. She quietly and with no reaction pulls her hand back and they continue to sit in silence. A few minutes later he reaches across the table with his hand and she eagerly puts her hand in his to hold for a few minutes. She drinks tea and he has several espressos and they share a small piece of cake and then leave.

After they leave an Aussie couple sit down. The guy is mid 20’s slightly chubby and probably a 5. The girl is mid 20’s 50 pounds overweight with no chin and being generous a 3. The talking is continuous. Her talking 80% of the time. Never more than 30 seconds of silence. They order an appetizer to share, each a main course, and both have a high calorie mocha/caramel Frappuccino type drink. Then both have a pice of cake.

In places like Bali it is interesting to just sit back and people watch. You quickly notice that on a consistent basis guys from Australia are almost always dating down. Russians guys date up. And Japanese guys seem to be dating about even.

^People watching is one of my personal hobbies as well. There's a cafe in H-Town I regularly frequent that I bring forum guys too. So most of the guys who've met me more recently know the spot.


It's a fairly open area and I've seen the most curious things as well. There's a few regulars that sit in the same spot and are always doing something interesting(I won't elaborate more as if you meet them in person you'll get it). Then you have the attractive girls of varying stripes.

Had this group of attractive Baptist Missionary girls come in to do a Bible Study. Not a tattoo on them, but I found it funny that they were in booty shorts and a crop top without exception talking about God/The Bible.

Then there's the older gentleman whom smoke cigars whenever I see them coming. It's actually really relaxing watching these guys as it's as if they could die right there completely happy.

Then the SJWs. You can spot them from a mile away and it's not even funny. Overweight without exception, bald or neon colored freaks with piercings, and more than a few shitty tattoos. Thankfully there are 3 or 4 max at a spot unlike the outdoors Galleria Starbucks which I implore you avoid without exception unless it's 2 AM as it's 24 hours.

It's always fun watching these myriad groups interact in a single space. I think there are always a few places like this in every big city and I highly suggest finding them.

I like your narration of this setting. I especially like this bit I quoted. It's such an idyllic scene. Him, stoic but affection. Her, eager, pleasant, and appreciative. I'm being romantic here of course as neither you nor I know what their lives or relationship are like, but I like to think that those two love eachother in the most classic way. I like to think they both genuinely enjoy simply experiencing the day, sipping their drinks, and being around eachother. I would like this for myself as well.

Pro tip: At a restuarabt, excuse yourself for a shit after dinner for a good 10-15 minutes.
