Yep.

Drink it every night before I go out.

It seems to give me the most benefit then ie a jolt of energy.

It also seems to dissipate the negative effects of alcohol, although I have no science backing me up on that.

I have been using this daily for almost exactly one year.

I don't know if it's because of the ACV, but these days I feel better than ever.

But the zinc, green tea, pomegranate juice, coconut oil, fish oil, flax seed, almonds, selenium, raw veggies, elimination of most dairy, tons of fruit, grass-fed whey protein, juicing, and black coffee with cigarettes may also have something to do with it.

Thanks G, thanks for making this thread to I loved ACV before I got out of the habbit of taking it. It may help break the Alcohol down better since its so acidic... just a guess ha

I've become much more conscious of what and how I eat in this past year, and about every change has had me feeling better.

Oh, I'll mention one thing about the ACV - when I take my morning dose (2tbsp in 5oz of OJ) first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, it gets my gut ready for the big morning bowel movement. ACV helps to keep your insides clean, for sure. Five minutes after that drink and my body sounds the alarm.

I don't get that effect mid-day or in the evening when I take the same.

Zinc and ACV = minimal hangovers

I feel like I'm 18 after a big night of drinking these days. Yes, I know I was drinking the previous night, but my next day is no longer wasted.

Are you under or over 30 years old? I also take ACV and Zinc routinely but try to keep the drinking low. The only time I drink a lot is on vacay and if I'm REALLY having a good time with friends.

Under, but nearing the number. I used to feel like fucking shit after drinking; now I'm a capable human being the next day.

Anecdotally, when traveling my hangovers suck because I'm not taking them. Domestically I can drink, and drink some more knowing I'll be fine in the AM because of ACV and Zinc. I do think it's more ACV related though, as I've only been taking Zinc at 50mg a few weeks now.

Bought the Bragg's ACV last week. Seems to work pretty well for alertness. Not sure if its a placebo effect or not, but did some research- Vinegar lowers glycemic index of foods. This might has something to do with its effects.

Bought this stuff about 4 weeks ago at a local supermarket. Drank it for 2 weeks straight (About half a shot glass twice a day), but got hit with a stomach flu from my niece and nephew. Before the stomach flu, I was passing gas like nobody's business. The first day, poops came out nasty, but after that they were ok. Just got back it on after 5 days of the stomach flu and wow, just like day 1. Definitely more energy. I'm a boxer (not amateur level yet, but getting there), and I felt the difference there. Used to get exhausted after 1.5 hours, but after 2.5-3 hours (since taking ACV), I'm sweating buckets but still mashing up the bag.

Got my friend on it too, she's got some weight problems so she's gonna try it out too.

I stopped diluting ACV with water and honey. Now I take a shot of it and immediately start drinking water and brushing my teeth. It's part of the morning routine now.

I think this is the best and quickest way to drink the stuff. Just hold your breath while you take the shot, then drink some water/rinse your mouth, then brush your teeth.

I dilute a shot glassful with water & 2 squirts of mio. I'm trying to figure out how he does it w/o burning his throat

Yeah it's uncomfortable, but only for one or two seconds. As long as you have a cup of water on hand you will be ok. And as always brush your teeth afterwords.

It does burn my throat, but the water cures that almost instantly.

From what I read (and what I have now), as long as it's unpasteurized, unfiltered, organic, and has the mother at the bottom of the bottle, then you're good to go. Got mine from a local supermarket under the vinegar section.

Take it straight in a shot is not a good idea. It will damage your esophagus and stomach. Just dilute a tablespoon of it in a glass of water or juice.

Yeah, or just use it in an all-purpose salad dressing with regular balsamico, honey, mustard, herbs, lemon juice and olive oil. Tastes great!
