Turnbull is and always will be the Liberal party leader that Labor voters like.
I respect his business acumen and making himself rich but I've never been a fan of his social values, not since he was environment minister.

He is a moderate but that is not enough to switch Labor voters to the Liberal party. He is stuck in this no-mans land of not being able to convince enough left-of-centre voters to switch and vote Liberal while being too moderate for a large part of the Liberal party base.

It is why Abbott was successful because he appealed to the silent majority conservative base of the Liberal party, even though he was pilloried by the leftist media.

In one clip a girl can be seen punching and elbowing another girl in the head. Police won’t detail how many people were attacked and robbed and there may be more victims that are yet to come forward.

“Their behaviour was just totally unacceptable and I’d call on them to come forward and hand themselves in before we track them down,” Inspector Jason Kelly told reporters on Thursday.

Vigilante groups are forming as a response to catch-and-release policies for diverse offenders.

^^^^ The Australian government disarmed the population in 1996 and took away the right to defend yourself against violent attacks for the average person. We have our issues where I live but this kind of thing would be unlikely. The little woman they attack could easily be a person who would defend herself with the firearm in her pocket. That is always in the criminals mind. Even though our statistics can look bad the scumbags here seem to attack each other and the regular folks are left alone. Even our police chief was on TV recently saying that the violence is a small known group killing each other and not the populace.

This is the logic/mentality that really annoys me about being in Aussie/Kiwi/bogan/Anglo culture. What the fuck is fair about the guy who takes more roids/is heavier/grinds gym/martial arts/is in a bigger group winning as opposed to the guy who is actually prepared in self defence?

Also the logic of being "pussies" if you like guns but not being "pussies" if they grind the gym. I know the Aussies(to a lesser extent Kiwis, but bogans in general) like to "tool" people by twisting the facts to make them look better, but it's kind of transparent if what you say doesn't make any sense. It's like China trying to pretend Taiwan isn't independent or Arabs trying to pretend Jerusalem isn't the capital. You don't have to be delusional, and in trying to keep face just makes you look worse.
