The main reason for the outrage is the humiliation of even having to cheat in the first place. Australia is a sporting nation, and one of the most competitive nations in the world, across almost all sports.

To have to admit we aren't the best at a sport for once, and actually have to cheat to have a chance of winning, is a real kick in the teeth. Especially in a sport as Aussie dominant as cricket.

So when our youth need to turn to our welfare system to survive because they can't match a boomers "experience" or a foreign scabs "hunger", the nations future ability to sustain it's own population gets surgically removed. Is that worth saving a few million on welfare?

I will clarify. When I am talking about sterilization its specifically talking about lifetime welfare. Where they can do outside of crime whatever they want with the money as long as they are sterile.

Plus one shouldn't really be having children when one is on welfare.

What is your solution as to put a stop to generational welfare dependence and stop attracting economic migrants to the country?

No need to make sterilisation for welfare mandatory. Never give the state that power under any circumstances. If they can invoke it for welfare dependants then they can invoke it for people with "genetic tendencies toward oppositional defiance disorder" or any other kind of "problematic people".

The solution is simple. You just offer reversible sterilisation for a one-off payment of $10,000. Freeze some eggs and sperm for free on top. People not raised to have family values and people with no future planning orientation will take the cash of their own free will and in doing so save the country in the long run. In one generation the unemployable dreg issue will vanish with no violent statist coercion, and anyone that gets their shit together and suddenly decides they want a family can save their money and have a crack at getting a reversal of the procedure or trying out IVF.

As for immigrant welfare parasites, well if you had a government with the balls to enact a system like this one then you'd have a government with the balls to close the borders.
