It's always the same two step process. The media starts building a case that entity X is a threat to world peace, and gullible Americans become convinced that X is a threat to world peace because they hear it in the news every day. Then the US military destroys entity X. Does anyone still remember Saddam and that the fact that he DIDN'T have weapons of mass destruction? Also, I still remember when Grenada was a threat to world peace and someone just had to do something about it so we could live in peace again. So you don't have to have a goofy haircut and be from North Korea to be spooky.

Reality check.

If you have a nuke you have an EMP device.

If you have an EMP device and a rocket that will fire straight upward then you essentially have a doomsday device.

Not that Sherman would tire of living next to a crack-head with a flamethrower and a dynamite collection. Shit no. Not when sweet liberty is at stake.

Wait, so you're just realizing that NK is a shithole that neglects its citizens 13 pages into this thread? tard

You also falsely claimed NK had never attacked anyone.

It's funny that the people screaming "this is all part of the media narrative" are actively trying to force a situation they don't understand to fit their own narrative.

In case nobody noticed, just one week after O'Reilly was fired from Fox news based on just the accusation of a woman, they are now using the same exact trick to accuse Sean Hannity of an alleged incident that happend years ago. In the French Revolution, they called it "J'accuse". Just by an accusation you can have your head cut off. Look in the beam of your own totalitarian society before you look in the speck of your brother's uptight society. Has anyone here been to North Korea? Tomorrow it will be Iran, the next Venezuela or any country not kow-towing to the globalists. Rinse, repeat... ad infinitum.

War indeed is a racket.

Yes, being fired from a $25-million-per-year TV show hosting gig after twenty years and receiving an eight-figure payout is the same as having your head cut off.

Were you in France during the Revolution? Then how can you know anything about what went on there?

Oh, right. It's okay to talk about 18th century France, Nazi Germany, Ancient Rome, and modern Iraq without having physically been there. But clearly that's off limits for North Korea.

Every atrocity attributed to communist regimes is obviously a hoax, while every crime attributed to Western countries is obviously 100% true.

The level of discourse in this thread just keeps getting higher and higher.

It's pretty clear that the NorKtards have chosen their own narrative over anything remotely resembling reality.

All attrocities committed under communism are a lie. Even the ones the former communists admit to. All one big psyop. And if you don't agree then obviously you're just a cud-chewing member of the cattle class.

There's no evidence of NorK attrocities.
Oh, well there's documented evidence, but that could have been fabricated by anyone.
Oh, well there's eyewitness testimony, they're obviously phoney shills for the globalists.
Born in prison? Pfft. Must be a murderer.
Physical evidence of torture? Pfft. No doubt self inflicted.
Physical evidence of malnutrition? Pfft. Probably some 'hunger strike' protesting for murderer's rights.

If I'm ever charged with a crime I can only hope that the judge weighs evidence similarly to the average NorKtard.

RE: North Korea Conflict Thread
With all due respect (sincerely), I feel this thread has gotten a little off track.

Whether or not NK regime deserves to be attacked or deposed is almost an irrelevant issue.

NK could be an absolute living hellhole, with a messianic despot bent on sadistic pleasure of wanton torture and oppression. It could also be a relatively functional state where the majority of people get by reasonably well and are content.

The truth is probably in the middle; I personally am of the opinion that it is closer to the first description. However, none of this matters.

It doesn't matter that Syria, or Iraq, or Libya, were stable autocracies that mostly took care of their people.

It doesn't matter that Saudi Arabia is one of the largest financiers of terrorist groups in the world.

What matters are the interests of nations and the power to back those interests up. Everything else is more or less just an after thought, something to rationalize in history books.

We need to look at what any attack on NK would look like, and what the responses could be, and what's at stake.

I will start with the premise that NK is perhaps the most predictable actor right now: we know they will periodically provoke in order to destabilize and appear as a credible and powerful state. If their sole motivation is regime survival, they can no longer project strength as effectively with their aging conventional military, so they need to up the stakes with nuclear development and more aggressive missile tests. I believe that NK is getting increasingly desperate and risky in its actions, but I do not believe it intends to deliberately launch any kind of major strike on neighboring countries, and definitely not invade SK. However, it must appear that it might.

This brings us to the point and purpose of a strike against NK. Let's say that right now the option is to do a surgical strike against the nuclear facilities. Assuming that this even goes perfectly, with no fall out, it will force NK to act, and act in a very strong manner if it is to remain any kind of credibility.

This is where I come to the conclusion that no imminent strike on NK is likely in the near term....

NK, in response to a strike, has many, many options that will disrupt and destabilize the region bigly, much more bigly than any nuclear weapons test or missile test.

If the NKs even decide to respond in kind, they can unleash a missile/artillery/rocket salvo (even a limited one), that will absolutely paralyze most of South Korea - the 11th largest economy in the world.

The US will have to evacuate 10s of thousands of military and DOD families in a short amount of time. Assuming that they could since Incheon airport is closer to the border than Seoul is.

SK would have to mobilize it's reserves, a costly move that would also put the economy on halt. Japan would have to spend money and resources doing the same.

China would have to mobilize much more than it already has, and prepare for regime collapse and a refugee crisis. It would also have to draw up plans to occupy NK, since they will almost definitely not let US and SK forces to come up to so close to it's border. Russia would also have to do something similar.

This is just for a rather moderate attack that would be retaliation for the US/SK striking it's nuclear facilities.

I know there has been some buildup, no doubt. But SK, and definitely the USA does not seem to be very prepared for what would happen AFTER a strike if NK retaliated. In particular leaving all those military families in Seoul seems a dead giveaway.

So I pose the question (again) to the forum, what are the options and responses? I am fairly convinced that this will be dealt with either covertly or through back door negotiations. The South Koreans of today could largely give two shits about reunification, and could largely care less about the alleged attrocities in the north (other than virtue signalling much like Americans "care" about the starving Africans) The familial ties are all but dead and gone, and SK is today one of the most capitalistically driven countries in the world. They ain't got time for no war.

The NKs know that the surrounding countries have way more to lose in a war than they do, so in the mean time: the strong do what they can and the weak suffer as they must.

- To be fair, these are just my lightly informed opinions, and i'm happy to hear some contrarian thoughts.

Post Script: It's sincerely interesting to talk and debate about the North Korean regime, but this the North Korea Conflict thread. If the thread keeps on with the political virtues, or lack there of, of North Korea, we should change the title. Some options:

1.North Korea: Love it or Leave it!
2. Why are all the NK missiles called Dong?
3. Why NK women look like 13 year old boys on the JV basketball team?

RE: North Korea Conflict Thread
The result I've been hoping for the most out of all this is that KJU gets sent to the Hague and SK annexes the North, reunifying Korea under the SK flag with Seoul as capital. (The flag of South Korea was in use as the flag of Korea before the Japanese took over)

Sure, North Korea is almost 100% Korean and has a state-owned central bank, but is that really worth it if you're living under a communist dictatorship?

^the point I was alluding to in my post, I guess rather poorly is that SK don't really care about reunification any more in practise and only have an interest in preventing any major flare up or distraction to thier economy.

RE: North Korea Conflict Thread
I think taking NK by force would be extremely difficult and all parties involved would suffer big losses. Ultimately the decision to go to war would be the loss of if they decide to attack the US with missiles, against how many US lives would be lost to a war on their soil. This is regardless of what SK thinks, they are an ally but ultimately a second priority to US lives when making the decision.

Also a line must be drawn because they have already murdered many US soldiers even though there is currently a ceasefire. Waiting around for them to develop a WMD is not a strategy in my opinion because they are doing it and it is only a matter of time before they have something that works. A lot of people think they aren't stupid enough to actually use it but why give them the chance. Also if they have WMD, what is stopping them from selling those weapons to US enemies around the world? They have a history of selling arms, drugs, etc to anyone willing to buy because their economy is so much in the gutter.

NK apparently has a sophisticated air defence, the KN-06 along with tons of MANPADs, so air support would be limited until after troops advanced and took ground. This would make weapons like the MOAB un-deployable until later in the war when ground troops will need to clear out mountain and underground bunkers.

I imagine a total barrage of NK with missiles, carpet bombings (if possible) and high accuracy naval guns would start the war off followed by a land invasion from the west and east coast against an enemy I think would be as fanatical as the Japanese during the 2nd world war. Perhaps airborne troops would be deployed along the north most border to keep the Chinese out and the NKs in and more troops to push South. Soldiers along the DMZ would face waves of NK soldiers rushing South.

Many troops would need to be deployed inside SK to counter the tunnels that NK has dug under the DMZ to SK. SK would mobilize all available troops while moving civilians to the Souther most point of the region out of range of conventional artillery.

Special Forces would be tasked with things like pilot rescue, capturing HVTs, and hunting down NK missiles like the their SCUDS, KN-11, Hwasong-10, Pukguksong-2, etc (just picked some random ones off wikipedia).

Japan would serve as a US staging area and might join the fight because they would still be in ballistic missile range.

After the war the reunified Korea would need to pay back the US for lives lost and money spent in perpetuity.

Hopefully China and Russia are on board with the plan and don't enter the war as enemies. They would ideally realize that the US's problem with NK could also extend to them if they ever were to have a falling out and that it would be best to form a coalition with the US to take down NK or at worst stay neutral in the conflict. A deal could be made with China to remove all US military personnel from Korea after the war (not Japan however). This would benefit the Chinese as a huge trading partner that will be right along their border, same with Russia.

After the war, surviving NKs will need to be reeducated in how the world currently works. This should be done by the SKs for obvious reasons. I think NKs would be extremely helpful in the rebuilding effort.

Major things to keep in mind are:
1. The sheer size of the NK army compared to the force the US, SK, and Japan are able to deploy.

2. NK air defence, from what I read are on par with the Russian S300 system.

3. Underground bunkers, clearing them out and finding all the entrance and exits

4. The NK fighting spirit

5. The general morale of the US public.

Quote:The North Koreans spent the better part of the last war with the U.S. being heavily battered by air bombardments. They have had plenty of time since then to consider this problem and prepare.

Quote:Operations Plan 5027 (OPLAN 5027) are a series of military operations plans made by the United States and South Korea for the defense against a possible North Korean invasion.

Quote:North Korea would presumably try to leverage its quantitative advantage of troop strength against the perceived superior technological capabilities of South Korean and US forces.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPLAN_5027

Quote:OPLAN 5029 is a proposed military operation plan by the United States and South Korea for dealing with "sudden change" in North Korea
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPLAN_5029

Quote:The Pentagon estimates at least 6,000 to 8,000 underground military facilities in North Korea.

Quote:In 2013 the Department of Defence reported North Korean ground forces at around 950,000. This, of course, does not count their nearly 8 million infantry reserves. They also boast over 200,000 highly trained paramilitary soldiers.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-19...bably-look

After writing this, war in NK would result in a massive loss of US lives and I am not sure if this is worth it for the United States however I want to open the dialogue to see other hypothetical perspectives because this is a topic that I'm interested in.

I have looked at a lot of videos and the North Koreans seem to be healthier looking than Americans. And the men look serious and masculine. I couldn't find anyone who looked like Bill Nye. Their leaders are wise in promoting healthy activity like the accordion.

Look at this amazing performance, if you ever doubted that North Koreans are the best accordion players in the world.

This is a picture of what South Koreans do. Which society is healthier?

Quote:Russia sends troops to border with North Korea
Fri Apr 21, 2017 8:7AM

http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2017/04/21/...ladivostok

Russia has reportedly sent troops and equipment to its border with North Korea, as the United States and North Korea trade threats of military attacks against one another. Video footage has emerged appearing to show trains carrying heavy military equipment, including armored personnel carriers and helicopters, toward Russia’s southeast on the Khabarovsk-Vladivostok highway on Saturday and Sunday, local media reported. The city of Vladivostok, which hosts Russia’s Pacific Fleet, is just 100 miles from the North Korean border. “Some say the situation around North Korea is fiction, but this is the third train of equipment we’ve seen since this morning,” a man can be heard saying in the video. “Looks like something is being sent to the Korean border.” One of three trains filmed was also loaded with Tor surface-to-air missiles. It was reportedly traveling through Khabarovsk in the direction of Russia’s border with the North. Another video apparently shows the movement of at least military helicopter and army combat vehicles movements towards the North Korean border.

Vladimir Putin is refusing to comment on media reports that Russia is quietly moving military hardware and troops towards the border with North Korea. According to the RIA news agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that deployments of Russian troops inside Russia’s own borders were not a public matter. Unverified video footage appears to show a train, believed to be one of three, loaded with military equipment and headed towards the 11-mile border between Russia and the secretive hermit state. Another video appears to show military helicopters moving towards the Russian border as well as army combat vehicles moving across rugged terrain. A report from primemedia.RU claims: ‘Railway trains loaded with military equipment moving towards Primorsky region via Khabarovsk have been noticed by locals. A military official added: ‘The movement of military equipment by different means of transport to southern areas is being observed across Primorsky region over the past week.’

Anybody heard of conspiracy theory that says that NK in fact completely lost Korean War and USA became ruler of NK and started to control their government. In that case NK has puppet government. But why? Apparently NK is some sort of experiment for future new world order.

Crazy sounding yes, but interesting.

Crazy as it may sound, that theory is still more probable than all the contradictory nonsense we hear each day about about the DPRK, which no one is able go verify for themseleves.

So this is another Jewish plot to install a centralbank in NK?

I need you tinfoil hats to draw me up a flow chart of all the conspiracies floating out there so I can keep track of who's currently pulling our strings.

I have this real bad sinus infection currently. Can you inform me if it's because of chemtrails or fluoride in the water?

What is your point? Obviously they would move troops along the border to contain the war and prevent it from moving into their countries.
