RE: North Korea Conflict Thread
It looks like a deal with North Korea could end up becoming a success for the Trump administration. Trump has referred to the possibility of meeting Kim. This would be great. I think they would like each other. Kim Jong Un is a good man and we need him on our side.

"Kim Jong Un is a good man".

Why is Kim Jong-Un a good man?
You are the first person I've ever heard to make this characterization of him.

Nk is a proxy of China. 100%. NK does what China tells them.

Trump asked China to distance itself from NK. If China does it. Trump shows Kim he cannot trust China which will abandon him at the first chance. And they should change sides to US.

If China doesn´t distance itself it means they are the ones behind the threats (which is the truth). And there´s a justification for the US to act.

China has been bluffing through NK. And Trump just called their bluff.

Now I believe Trump is pulling Kim to his side. BOOOMMM he takes out an enemy and gets an ally without a single shot. PLAYA level. Play on playa.

I'm sure that museum presents a completely unbiased and factual recounting of events.

....and I'm sure the western media has the same unbiased and factual recounting of what actually goes on inside the DPRK each day.

...

There are a lot of foreign embassy staff that actually live full time in the DPRK.

Here's some videos from a dude who actually lived in the DPRK.
He was not a tourist, he was a resident.

He's got over 50 videos taken with a hidden camera of daily life inside the DPRK on his youtube channel here:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzvCf_q...0ag/videos

Some examples:

Dashcam from driving around Pyongyang

Couples doing traditional dancing in the street:

Driving outside the capital and visting supermarket

A kindergarten in rural areas in North Korea

Riding on a bike in Pyongyang

I can't bear to watch any more of this hell on earth.
The western advanced nations must end these unspeakable horrors now.

Didn't we just have the "Look! Here's some places where people aren't being tortured! Therefore, nobody's being tortured and everything is fine!" discussion a few pages back?

RE: North Korea Conflict Thread
^Sherman and Mercenary still haven't even answered the simple question as to why the NorK government would so tightly control information about their nation if indeed there was nothing grotesque to cover up.

It's like hearing muffled screams from your neighbour's basement at night, "but his lawns are nice and he smiles and waves to me when I pass by, so I don't think there's really any reason to pry".

The sad thing is that I'd have more respect for someone that said "fuck Nork, fuck SouK, fuck the NorKs and fuck the Souks, I don't care about any of them." But if there's one thing I can't stand it's a non-interventionist policy sugar coated by claims that "everything over there is actually OK" because some people want to have their non aggression policy while stroking their own ego that they're actually not ignoring a humanitarian crisis at all. It's childish. If the NorKs aren't worth stopping or saving then man up and call it, but don't pretend that everything is fine there just to appease a ingrained sense of righteousness.

Did anyone state there aren't roads headed 100kms away from Pyonyang and there might be a very small market with small amounts of items for sale inside? I find it laughable that you consider that a "supermarket."

Does anyone deny that there are kindergartens in rural areas of North Korea?

Now this I can't believe. This is ludicrous. Kim Jong Un would NEVER allow his people to ride around on a bicycle. That's western ideology and flies in the face of the supreme ruler!

Hopefully, the North Koreans will keep their independence so they don't turn into another America, where a man can be arrested for eyeballing a lady in the elevator or lose his livelihood for expressing his conservative views, but a trannie can go into any bathroom he wants.

North Korea: where a man can be a man and have a feminine wife that plays an accordion. Keep North Korea free.
