Fucking fascist scumbags.

Which is great.

I have just finished reading Robert Cialdinis book: Influence

Within he explains and scientifically fortifies the principle of scarcity which dictates that the more you try to censor information from the people the more they will want it and believe it, regardless if it is true or not. The principle of scarcity works due to the strong emotions humans have connected to not having something or losing it.

If this is the case, then the Libertarian Party should have won a lot more elections by now.

That's a myth. The Ancient Greeks gave us the math and the algebra. Ever heard of the Pythagorean Theorem? Pythagoras was Greek. The Muslims stole the knowledge and squatted on it when they conquered western areas like the Byzantine Empire and Spain. They never invented anything. They are even worse than the communists at innovation. Mohammed taught his followers to make dhimmi slaves out of Christians and Jews via the jizyah tax for precisely this reason, to preserve intellectual capital that Islam lacked and was unable to develop due to barbaric cultural practices.

The Pythagorean Theorem is GEOMETRY, not algebra.

So you never heard of geometric algebra then?

Quote:Greek geometric algebra

It is sometimes alleged that the Greeks had no algebra, but this is inaccurate. By the time of Plato, Greek mathematics had undergone a drastic change. The Greeks created a geometric algebra where terms were represented by sides of geometric objects, usually lines, that had letters associated with them, and with this new form of algebra they were able to find solutions to equations by using a process that they invented, known as "the application of areas". "The application of areas" is only a part of geometric algebra and it is thoroughly covered in Euclid's Elements.

An example of geometric algebra would be solving the linear equation ax = bc.

The progressives are really going all-out with trying to force-feeding the Narrative down our throats: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/...1-orlando/

Quote:U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch revealed Sunday that the government will release the transcripts of the 911 calls made by the Orlando terrorist during the attack last Sunday — scrubbed of any references to Islam or the Islamic State (ISIS).
She told Chuck Todd on NBC News’ Meet the Press that the “FBI is releasing a partial [printed] transcript of the killer’s calls with law enforcement, from inside the club,” but added: “What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda.”

Todd responded, incredulously: “We’re not going to hear him talk about those things?”

Lynch added: “We will hear him talk about some of those things, but we are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance and that.”

It is widely known that the terrorist, Omar Mateen, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State — also known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS — during the attack.

CNN reported last Sunday, citing a U.S. official: “Mateen called [911] dispatchers about 20 minutes into the attack, pledging allegiance to ISIS and mentioning the Boston Marathon bombers.”

Last week, the Washington Post reported that Mateen had called a local news station and said: “I did it for ISIS” and “I did it for the Islamic State.”

President Barack Obama himself has acknowledged that Mateen referred to ISIS (or “ISIL,” as the Obama administration insists on calling the group, swapping “Levant” for “Syria” for unknown reasons). However, he has insisted that Mateen likely was a “lone wolf,” and that any connection between the terror attack and radical Islam is either false or unhelpful to identify.

He defended his refusal to use the phrase “radical Islam,” saying that “there is no magic to the phrase “radical Islam.” He argued that connecting terrorists to Islam only furthered the interests of groups like the Islamic State, which wish to foment a war between the Islamic world and the West.

Lynch appears to be carrying out that instruction to an absurd extreme. While she claimed that “we’re trying to get as much information about this investigation out as possible,” she and the rest of the administration are deliberately suppressing any evidentiary link between Mateen and radical Islam, even though she has acknowledged that he did not mention other purported motives, such as prejudice against gays.

President Obama has also insisted that the culprit in Orlando was weak gun control laws — and, indirectly, the Republican Party, which has resisted further infringements on the Second Amendment.

They can't possibly think people are that idiotic to not be able to comprehend the shooter's motivations. It beggars belief that the Left is essentially demanding a mulligan on his affiliation to ISIS because it isn't "conclusive enough." Something tells me that if Mateen had sworn allegiance to the KKK, this conversation wouldn't be happening.

The US has been called out before for being too pussy to condemn Islamic terrorism. This incident happened in 2014 in China.

Quote:In the evening of March 1, 2014, a knife attack occurred inside the Kunming Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan, China. At around 21:20, a group of 8 knife-wielding men and women attacked passengers at the city's railway station. Both male and female attackers pulled out long-bladed knives and stabbed and slashed passengers. At the scene, police killed four assailants and captured one injured female. The incident, targeted against civilians, left 29 civilians and 4 perpetrators dead with more than 140 others injured. In the afternoon of 3 March, police announced that the six-man two-woman group had been neutralized after the arrest of three remaining suspects.

I don't think I need to mention the religion of the perpetrators...

Regarding the US Media:

Quote:Following the event, many major western media outlets covering the event with the quotation marks around the word “terrorism,” some in the article’s headline, some in the body, and some in both. China accused Western commentators, with their focus on Uighur rights, of hypocrisy and double standards on terrorism.

Thousands of Chinese netizens criticized the United States government for refusing to identify the rampage as a terrorist attack. To illustrate the point, one such netizen remarked: “I express my condolences for the setting off of fireworks and burning incident at the Boston Marathon.”
[The Boston Marathon Bombing]

The state-run People's Daily accused Western media of ambivalence and failing to state unequivocally that the attack was an act of terrorism, saying "These media are always the loudest when it comes to anti-terrorism, but in the Kunming train station terrorist violence they lost their voice and spoke confusedly, making people angry" and named American news outlets CNN, The Associated Press, The New York Times and The Washington Post as examples.

To be noted, it is quite common for media to use quotation mark to report a possible terror attack, or using the terms "described as terrorist attack" in the early days of the event as the facts are unfolding. Similar description has been used in media regarding many other potential terror attack around the world. CNN removed the quotation mark on Mar 2nd, 1 day after the event, describing it as "deadly Kunming terror attacks".

By the way, this was a knife attack - how would the pro gun control lobby spin this?

As an engineer with some familiarity with the history of mathematics, I'll have to disagree, it seems like a case of ideology getting in the way of history. Modern mathematics and algebra are largely built on the contribution of medieval islamic era scholars. Numerical analysis, polynomial algebra, numbers theory were mostly advances made by islamic mathematicians. The Arabs added crucial elements to the Indian numerals, the decimal, so they really should be credited with the decimal system.

St Andrews prof Edmund Robertson, one of the world's leading math historians and builder of the MacTutor History of Mathematics online archive wrote:

Certainly many of the ideas which were previously thought to have been brilliant new conceptions due to European mathematicians of the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth centuries are now known to have been developed by Arabic/Islamic mathematicians around four centuries earlier. In many respects the mathematics studied today is far closer in style to that of the Arabic/Islamic contribution than to that of the Greeks.

I can find a great deal of material that challenges your assertions 911, (for example there are many sources that indicate that the Hindus DID invent the decimal) but I don't want to derail the thread any further. I respectfully disagree with you and I stand by my analysis.

It's probably true that some Arab mathematicians were good at what they did, (some... I assume... are good people!) but it is certainly true that the myth of the greatness of their contributions is blown way out of proportion on a regular basis in order to advance the narrative that Islam is morally equivalent to Christianity. It simply is not. Christianity and Christian culture and civilization are morally and technologically superior to Islam. Far superior. There is no equivalence. Islam is cancer.
Leonard D Neubache · 2016-06-20 00:58:00 · #1020
It's important not to let the constant barrage of lies from the MSM get you down. There's a world of difference between broadcasting the propaganda and getting the masses to believe it. The MSM is on the back foot. They're now trying to tell people black is white and up is down. They are bleeding credibility by the gallon and the faster we can widen their wounds the weaker they will become by the time November rolls around.

So get out there and challenge the narrative. Every time a progressive propaganda article or editorial gets slammed by normal people it adds to the death of 1000 cuts we're in the process of inflicting.

Remember, the number of people who actually believe these lies might be smaller than you think. These days it's become a common theme for people to specifically treat with scepticism everything they read in the papers and hear on the television.

The best thing to come out of this is that less and less people are paying attention to the legacy media and their opinions. They may still watch the news to get the news. But the opinions of the media have no impact on them.

It's kind of hilarious to see how desperate "journalists" are in promoting their anti-gun agenda, and they just seem to lose more and more supporters every time we have a tragedy like this. They were hoping that gays would jump on the anti-gun bandwagon. It's not happening. It may very well turn them the other way.

So they released a PARTIAL transcript of Mateen's 9/11 call - of course redacted parts of it.

Quote:Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD)

Shooter (OM)

OD: Emergency 911, this is being recorded.
OM: In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]
OD: What?
OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.
OD: What’s your name?
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to [omitted] ISIS.
OD: Ok, What’s your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].
OD: Alright, where are you at?
OM: In Orlando.
OD: Where in Orlando?
[End of call.]
(Shortly thereafter, the shooter engaged in three conversations with OPD’s Crisis Negotiation Team.)

2:48 a.m.: First crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately nine minutes.

3:03 a.m.: Second crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately 16 minutes.

3:24 a.m.: Third crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately three minutes.

In these calls, the shooter, who identified himself as an Islamic soldier, told the crisis negotiator that he was the person who pledged his allegiance to [omitted] ISIS, and told the negotiator to tell America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq and that is why he was “out here right now.” When the crisis negotiator asked the shooter what he had done, the shooter stated, “No, you already know what I did.” The shooter continued, stating, “There is some vehicle outside that has some bombs, just to let you know. You people are gonna get it, and I’m gonna ignite it if they try to do anything stupid.” Later in the call with the crisis negotiator, the shooter stated that he had a vest, and further described it as the kind they “used in France.” The shooter later stated, “In the next few days, you’re going to see more of this type of action going on.” The shooter hung up and multiple attempts to get in touch with him were unsuccessful.

4:21 a.m.: OPD pulled an air conditioning unit out of a Pulse dressing room window for victims to evacuate.

(While the FBI will not be releasing transcripts of OPD communication with victims, significant information obtained from those victims allowed OPD to gain knowledge of the situation inside Pulse.)

4:29 a.m.: As victims were being rescued, they told OPD the shooter said he was going to put four vests with bombs on victims within 15 minutes.

(An immediate search of the shooter’s vehicle on scene and inside Pulse ultimately revealed no vest or improvised explosive device.)

5:02 a.m.: OPD SWAT and OCSO Hazardous Device Team began to breach wall with explosive charge and armored vehicle to make entry.

5:14 a.m.: OPD radio communication stated that shots were fired.

5:15 a.m.: OPD radio communication stated that OPD engaged the suspect and the suspect was reported down.

Based on OPD radio communications, there were no reports of shots being fired inside Pulse between the initial exchange of gunfire between responding officers and shooter, and the time of the final breach. During this time, the shooter communicated with an OPD 911 operator and an OPD crisis negotiator, and OPD radio communications reported that victims were being rescued.

Milo Wrote:The people of Europe have started to realise they have not a radical Islam problem, but an Islam problem. Some Europeans might find this difficult to hear. They might even call it “islamophobic.” But consider the evidence.

A Gallup poll a few years ago showed that 100 per cent of British Muslims believe homosexuality is an unacceptable lifestyle choice. Over half of them want it made illegal, too. 39 per cent of British Muslims believe a woman should always obey her husband. And a quarter of them want sharia law in the UK.

I was in Orlando last week, the site of the deadliest mass shooting in American history. And it wasn’t a troubled white male loser gunning down a school. It was a Muslim — described as “not particularly religious” by his dad — who killed 50 gay people and maimed 50 more.

There is no reason to suppose that Muslims in Europe have any better opinions of women, gays, blacks, latinos and, let’s face it, everyone else, than Orlando killer Omar Mateen.

Don’t make the mistake of considering Islam a “problem for gays.” Muslims have a unique ability to be offended at anything. It’s us today. It will be you tomorrow.

Again: this isn’t radical Islam. It’s Islam.

European elites have suggested adding Turkey to the EU. Turkey, once a country headed for a secular, progressive future, is now a hotbed of Islamic extremism. It is the home of the Islamic creationist movement and a dozen other deeply regressive strands of Islamic thought.

Turkey does not belong in a political union with the United Kingdom.

England’s Brexit campaign is a positive step to regain its national sovereignty and prevent an influx of Muslim refugees. The EU, certainly, is not willing to do what’s necessary to make people safe.

In the past, “immigrant” meant someone who wanted to improve their family’s future. Muslim immigrants do not fit that definition. They want to turn Bradford into Baghdad.

Leaving the European Union is Britain’s best chance of avoiding the fate that Germany and Sweden have chosen for themselves. If I were you, I would vote Leave.
