It goes to show just how degraded the brain of the average person is in this day and age. Or maybe people have been that retarded from the beginning. It's hard to say. But the reality is that most people these days are so numbed in the brain that when the television people say "our options are invade or don't invade" then they just nod dumbly.

"Maduro man bad. Liberation good. Orange man must liberate!"

All I hear on the radio is that Maduro has refused international aid on the border, and the average person is too stupid by an order of magnitude to read bewteen the lines. As if Maduro is just ignoring the free stuff because he obviously wants his people to suffer. tard

Obviously those supplies come on conditions that the media isn't going to bother to report, conditions doubtless including the admission of thousands of "aid distribution workers" who just happen to be drawing their paychecks from a Langley area code. Few Western dimwits will even bother to ask whether the cost of an invasion would be more/less than just dropping aid into the country gratis, but if you did something as silly as that then you might end up with a food/medicine industrial complex instead of a military industrial complex.

Can't have that, now. What a ridiculous notion.

Russia is also saying that aid is the beginning of a military action against Venezuela.

And what has that idiot justin Trudeau to do with this I though it was a serious discussion.

You were the one who brought up Justin Castro, with your rant on the subject of dictators with bad genes... Wink

And yes, Maduro did win a larger percentage of his country's registered voters than did Justin, he got 68% of the voters that did show up, and 32% of total registered voters, whereas Trudeau only got 39% of the voters in a Canadian election where 32% abstained, which means that Trudeau actually got less that 27% of all registered voters.

Maduro's election numbers are more legit than those from just about any other democracy's, regardless of the abstention rate. That's an irrefutable fact.

Personally having historical eyewitness accounts of how this will actually play out I can say that if Americans (and the greater Western peanut gallery) think that anyone will be grateful for their intervention they're historically illiterate and just plain delusional.

My wife's parents lived through an "American intervention" against communists and the only thing they remember about America is their choppers strafing fleeing groups of villagers while they hosed them down with machine gun fire. Choppers pilots and door-gunners that were "never there", at least not in any official sense.

Let me be utterly blatant about this. Americans need to unretard and unfuck themselves. I never understood why those gunners would hose down civilians until I finally realized that these foreign interventions are in part specifically designed to drive global sentiment against the West. The globalist elite in the military will hand-pick the worst sociopaths they can find to specifically commit atrocities against the locals because fostering anti-Western sentiment is actually a win for them.

You will not be welcomed as liberators. You haven't been since WW2 and you wont be now. Everyone in the world is wise to the fact that when American troops show up then their master's profits are the #1 agenda. #2 is "getting home safely" no matter who you have to kill at the drop of a hat. Everything else ranks a distant third, so no, Venezuelans are not going to fall in love with Uncle Sam because a swathe of GI's arrive to fuck their wives for a dollar or a chocolate bar while putting their nation in the irons of globojewish slavery. My wife's parents don't remember the hunger but they damn sure remember the killing.

If you are an American or anyone in the West who's shilling for the same thing the globojewish cartel wants then you should do a serious reality check. Their agenda is devoutly anti-West. Anything they want is by definition 99% likely to be bad for the future of your nation. Wake the fuck up.

Curunir, maybe there's a reading comphrehension or language gap here, but you keep trying to force the forum into specific labels or camps. It's not a good way to argue as it comes off as intellectually dishonest

It's possible for a man to be against Chavez policies, Maduro, the opposition, AND also against a U.S. military invasion.

Well, because we're all bots here, perhaps someone thinks we can only work with 0s and 1s.

This is from a couple days ago I suppose. The US Navy admiral who runs the Southern Command telling the Venezuelan military they'll be held accountable for their actions. If I were a betting man this sounds like a thinly veiled threat they could be getting ready to launch cruise missiles of peace into Caracas.

An alternative way of describing what's going on with Trump, Venezuela and the Middle East:

Orange Man bad. One Brown Man bad. Second Brown Man good. Orange Man bomb good Brown Man. Orange Man Good. Bad Brown Man still bad. Orange Man no bomb bad Brown Man. Orange Man bad again. The end.

We could even publish this as the plot of as an illustrated children's book.

From news sources it appears there are some countries who are not so sure about military action on Maduros forces and want more economic pressure.

The last time the world told John Bolton what to do he gave them the middle finger.

Invasion of Venezuela is falling into a trap.
First, is an uneeded war.
Second, it falls right through the narrative of American Imperialist Forces trying to destroy the Bolivar revolution (or whatever stupid narrative exists).

I read a column in the Spanish newspaper El Pais today. The gist of it was that the Chavistas are prepared to go underground and fight if the US invades. There's no sign the Venezuelan military is going to flip.

The former Spanish PM Zapatero, who has been mediating in Venezuela, said that the Chavistas will fight and take it to the region, linking up with the ELN in Colombia.

One guy working for Maduro talked about how they had bought a bunch of Dragunov sniper rifles and it would be "every bullet, a slaughtered enemy" and they would hold out until the "flow of coffins created resistance in the USA" to the intervention. You won't see this in the US mainstream media, as bad as the old Pravda. It's not as if methods for fighting the USA haven't been tested by the Iraqi Baathists and Taliban, that lessons can't be used.

Regime change is now stymied. While the declaration of the neighboring countries like Brazil and Colombia that they aren't onboard with a military intervention might be a deception, it also may be a recognition of the possibility of a bloody conflict.

This is a big test for Trump. Will he let the neocons like Bolton, Rubio, and Pence have their way, or will he follow his best instincts and do what he was elected to do - put America First, stop the regime change wars

Man, I guess you should ask Mr MAGA and his minions about their malfunctions. The US made the big move for the big prize of Venezuelan oil, but it seems they are backing off.

You come in here to cry bloody murder about the US almost certainly stomping a smaller nation into dust and when they back off you accuse them of having no balls.

Nonsense like that will make Americans support an attack just to say "well if you think we don't have the stones then let us correct you" and frankly I wouldn't blame them.

If you want to appeal to sense of moral indignation then you don't go calling people pussies when they concede not to be an aggressor, especially if it's mindnumbingly clear that they could have wrecked you over the course of a lazy week. I didn't agree with everything you used to post but I assumed you were participating in good faith and didn't write you off just because you stood in opposition to the crowd.

But apparently you're just a commie shill who cries like a girl for mercy when he's losing and then thumps his chest like a man when he's winning.

You don't deserve to be treated on moral grounds.

Unpossible! I was told that every single member of the Venezuelan military was either going to immediately defect, or line up in a nice row so that we could shoot them with a helicopter gunship! That's why this is going to be "easy" and "short!"
They can't try to go underground! It's not allowed!

Remember the first casualty being truth?

https://orinocotribune.com/burning-aid-a...ela-bridge

Quote:Burning Aid: An Interventionist Deception on Colombia-Venezuela Bridge?

Sen. Marco Rubio and coup leaders claim the Venezuelan National Guard burned US aid trucks on the bridge in Colombia. But all available evidence points in the opposite direction.

The Trump administration’s coup against Venezuela culminated on February 23 with US-backed opposition attempting to ram several trucks loaded with boxes of USAID “humanitarian aid” across the previously unused Francisco de Paula Santander bridge connecting Colombia to Venezuela.

The trucks failed to reach the other side — but that was never really the point of the stunt. As Father Sergio Munoz, a right-wing Venezuelan activist posted on the Colombian side of the border, explained to journalist Dan Cohen, the humanitarian “aid” was a purely symbolic provocation aimed at discrediting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in international eyes and generating waves of destabilizing violence.

By the end of the day, the trucks lined up on the Francisca de Paula Santander bridge were flanked by gangs of guarimberos.

These were the nihilistic masked youth who form the shock troops of the right-wing opposition, and who placed Caracas under siege with violent barricade protests, known as guarimbas, at several points between 2014 and 2017. A mob of guarimberos burned to death Orlando Figuera, a 22-year old black Venezuelan accused of supporting Maduro, on an eastern Caracas street in broad daylight, back in June 2017.

On the Santander bridge this February 23, the guarimberos rained down a hail of rocks and molotov cocktails on Venezuelan national guardsmen holding the line against the USAID trucks. Suddenly, the trucks caught fire and the masked youth began unloading boxes of aid before they burned. Within minutes, pro-opposition media reported that the Venezuelan national guard forces were responsible for the fires.
