RE: The Syria conflict thread
Think this is the suitable thread to discuss the latest Israel vs. Iran flares and splash, rather then the Trump one.

Looks like IR were holding for a response until US decision on the deal, now that it's been settled, they've responded.

I wouldn't be surprised to see more missile exchange between the two in the coming days...just hoping it doesn't get out of hand. Meanwhile the head of IRGC is posting memes about Bibi on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sardar_haj_gha...ani/?hl=en

It's interesting that Germany and EU (I won't mention US since we know about their special relationship with Israel) haven't wasted a single second to condemn Iran's aggression in sending missiles to Golan Heights....but never said a peep when Israel has been bombing a sovereign state of Syria and its military every other day for the last few weeks.

^ After digging a bit deeper and reading the captions of some photos, looks like it's a fan account. But even if it was real account, I doubt he'd get a blue checkmark.

IR figure heads are very social media savvy (despite banning most of them)...Zarif is a a regular shitlord on Twitter and remember this Khamenei thread of tweets re: feminism?
Their twitter feed is definitely more entertaining than that of Putin. It's interesting that Russian embassy social media account are the ultimate shitlords, yet the Kremlin one or PutinRF is so boring. Gives credence to Bryan McDonald's idea that Putin doesn't like using computers and the internet.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
Just to be clear, Israel launched attacks on Iranian forces inside Syria immediately after Trump made the announcement to withdraw from the deal. And they have been doing so since the last chemical weapons false flag. This latest attack was blatantly reported in mainstream media so I'm not sure why they're suddenly going the route of "poor Israel bombarded in their own territory by evil Iranian rockets." They can't expect Iranian forces to just sit there and take it.

http://time.com/5270362/israel-attacked-...iran-deal/

Quote:(BEIRUT) — Syrian state-run media said Israel struck a military outpost near the capital Damascus on Tuesday, saying its air defenses intercepted and destroyed two of the incoming missiles. The reported attack came an hour after President Donald Trump announced he was withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, calling Tehran a main exporter of terrorism in the region.

Netanyahu and Israel are really on the warpath lately. The chemical weapons false flag, the whole Iran powerpoint presentation thing, Netanyahu telling Putin:

Quote:Netanyahu Warns Putin That Iran Wants to Destroy 6 Million Jews

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/...n-missiles

Laugh4

And after their meeting Russia backs off sending the S-300 to Syria

Quote:Russia is backing away from a proposal to supply the Syrian government with a state-of-the-art missile defense system following a visit to Moscow by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to media reports.

http://thehill.com/policy/international/...sit-report

Honestly Putin seems to be losing a lot of face here. They didn't shoot the missiles down, they didn't strike the source of the missiles, they didn't retaliate at all, and now they won't move equipment in to help their ally after a visit from Netanyahu? Those fresh sanctions might be more potent than we realize. But I'm really glad he didn't escalate, as I am that we didn't strike Russian assets and trigger a hot war. Meanwhile Trump seemingly believes everything his good friend Netanyahu says to him, hopefully he keeps his head and stays out of a full blown war with Iran.

My favorite part though is that fucking 6 million number. Fucking hilarious. Can't ever let the goyim forget that fucking number. Shoehorn it in whenever possible.

Yeah - it's possible that Israel fired first.

But on that issue - why is Iran even in Syria? They should know that they are next in line on the chopping block. Why not keep to themselves and try to remain neutral?

If Syria's government invited them in to help out in the civil war, then I see nothing wrong with it. Allies help allies. Russia and Iran have every right to be in the country if they were invited. Israel, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey on the other hand, have zero legal basis for running around in there, but because they are backed by the U.S. they are untouchable. That's the question I, as an American citizen ask, how and why are we in Syria right now? What legal basis do we have?

I don't particularly like Iran, especially considering this uncivilized nonsense like flag burning and "Death to America", but if the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Israel are going to project power over the region to establish a sphere of influence, do they really have the option to not do so? Why doesn't SA stop fucking around in Yemen and trying to tell other arabian peninsula countries what they're allowed to do? Why don't they stop taking hundred billion dollar arms deals with the U.S. and causing chaos in the region? Look at countries like Russia who mostly want to be left alone, but the US and NATO insist on fucking shit up right on their border. Well, the US invaded and occupied (and should have puppeted) a country right on their border, so I think they have legitimate reasons to distrust the other actors in the theater.

I think they believe if they remain neutral, they will be surrounded and destroyed anyway. Or their ravenous hatred of Israel is driving them, who knows?

What a mess that whole place is.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
Iran came to Syria for same reason Putin did. Because they recognize the ultimate goal of messing with Syria. Syria was preceded bt 2006 war with hezballah and by the iraq invasion. The american israeli plan was clear and was articulated openly by neocons and by later obama generals. 4chan whisperers are not needed. Just listen to what the people in power said. Breaking down iraq into sectarian parts igniting conflicts which then spills over to Syria. Clipping iran wings which is hezballah. Clipping irans other wing which is alliance with Syria. Getting Iran. Targeting Russia using its souther islamic border.

I make no secret of the fact that I like Persia. I have multiple Ex-Muslim Persian friends (who call themselves Persian and not Iranians).

What their Islamic Republic is doing and what Persians want are two different things. The Shah would not be financing Hizbollah and the Shah would not be meddling with this war. He would say that he is sorry, but he cannot afford his country to be dragged into it. The Russians and the Chinese could afford it, but certainly not Persia.

That is why so many Persians support president Trump.

But I expect Iran and the Ayatollahs to do stupid shit, so that is how things will go.

Considering the fact that he was an Anglo-Saxon puppet who came to power through Western back coup d'etat so he could surrender Iranian resources I would expect nothing less.

What a mess that whole place is.

As an Israeli (I'm biased and for good reason - it's my life on the line) here are my thoughts:
1. "... if the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Israel are going to project power over the region to establish a sphere of influence, do they really have the option to not do so? "
In the middle-east power is everything. If you don't project power, expect someone to come knocking in order to increase it's own "sphere of influence". That means blood.
2. "Why doesn't SA stop fucking around in Yemen and trying to tell other arabian peninsula countries what they're allowed to do?"
SA's army is poor. It has new shiny weapons but no one good enough to operate them. SA is actually trying to align other arab countries but was unable to make it happen. I made an article for ROK that was rejected on this a few months ago.
3. "Why don't they stop taking hundred billion dollar arms deals with the U.S. and causing chaos in the region?"
Those deals project power, but they hate the actual work of using the power. They want to promote their interests, but Iran does it way better with proxies.
4. "Or their ravenous hatred of Israel is driving them, who knows?"
That hatred has been around since the establishment of the Islamic Republic. It is a main drive in their worldview and foreign policy and it has been done to death (we feel it more, but just read what they publish in their native tongue).

As part of the IDF, I know that Israel is doing its best not to interfere directly, unless its interests are at stake. Trust me that we learned the lesson from the 1982 Lebanon war.

I would like to read that article if you're willing to PM it. I'm pretty sure a lot of other guys here would too. Contrary to what a lot of people think about the so called racism here in the forum, guys going after the red-pill no holds barred value nothing higher than first hand information from guys with skin in the game who can provide any sort of objective balance to major issues like the ones facing the ME.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
TheMaleBrain, I appreciate the responses and the Israeli perspective, but those questions were mainly rhetorical devices to show that all the major players in the theater are doing something and no one is sitting around being neutral. Thus it makes sense for Iran to be doing things it perceives to be in it's interests like everyone else. I am aware of how...lackluster the SA people are. And how they only exist because of that fucking oil ocean below them.

I really couldn't care less about Iran being in Syria or why as long as Assad asked for their help, just finish ISIS off already, hand the country back over to Assad, and stop shaping refugees into a new race of people to frame as being racist against. But no, this just has to be a proxy war for seven countries. And I am just so sick of the hypocritical rhetoric my country and the west uses to validate their actions over there, it's insulting to my intelligence.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
Syria's armed forces and the Russian military moving in on the last area filled with terrorists. Predictably the last few days the MSM has been pumping out stories to do with chemical weapons and how civilians face being slaughtered there.

https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-mideas...KKCN1LO0EF

Quote:AMMAN (Reuters) - Russian and Syrian warplanes pounded towns in Syria’s opposition-held Idlib province on Saturday, a day after a summit of the presidents of Turkey, Iran and Russia failed to agree on a ceasefire that would forestall a Russian-backed offensive.

Idlib is Syria’s last major stronghold of active opposition to the rule of President Bashar al-Assad.

At least a dozen air strikes hit a string of villages and towns in southern Idlib and the town of Latamneh and Kafr Zeita in northern Hama where rebels are still in control, witnesses and rescuers said.

Syrian helicopters dropped so-called barrel bombs — containers filled with explosive material — on homes on the outskirts of the city of Khan Sheikhoun in southern Idlib, two residents said.

The Syrian army denies using barrel bombs. However, United Nations investigators have extensively documented their use by the army.

The Western-sponsored Syrian Civil Defence rescue service known as the White Helmets said they pulled four bodies, including a child, from the rubble of a building bombed by Russian planes in the village of Abdeen, near Khan Sheikhoun.

Russia says it avoids civilians and only targets radical al Qaeda inspired groups but opposition sources and residents say most of the casualties in the last few days were civilians.

The opposition accuse Russia and its allies of striking at hospitals and civil defence centres to paralyse life and force rebels to surrender in a repeat of earlier, large-scale military offensives.

Hundreds of civilians were killed in Russian-backed bombing campaigns on the former besieged rebel stronghold of Ghouta near the capital Damascus this year and a recent offensive in southern Syria displaced tens of thousands.

A hospital in the town of Hass was put out of service after it was bombed, a rescue worker said.

Idlib’s two main rebel coalitions, the mainstream nationalist National Liberation Front, and a jihadist grouping known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, spearhead by a former al-Qaeda offshoot, say they were putting aside ideological differences to face a common threat.

Rebels say the battle could be decisive and a defeat may bring the end of their over seven-year, armed rebellion against Assad.

“There is coordination and cooperation with all the fighting factions to defend our people,” Emad al Din Mojahed, spokesman for Hayat Tahrir al Sham, told Reuters.
SUMMIT FAILS TO BRING TRUCE

Friday’s summit had focussed on a looming military operation in Idlib.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan pushed for a ceasefire during the summit but Russian President Vladimir Putin said a truce would be pointless as it would not involve Islamist militant groups Assad and his allies deem as terrorists.

Tehran and Moscow have helped Assad turn the course of the war against an array of opponents ranging from Western-backed rebels to Islamist militants, while Turkey is a leading opposition supporter and has troops in the country.

The United Nations fears a full-scale offensive could cause a humanitarian catastrophe involving tens of thousands of civilians.

The White House said this week that U.S. President Donald Trump had warned that such attacks would be “a reckless escalation of an already tragic conflict” and “risk the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.”

A U.S. State Department official said Washington was aware of reports of Russian and Syrian air strikes in Idlib in spite of warnings from the United States, the UN and others, and was closely monitoring the situation.

“Russia claims that it is targeting terrorists, but observers reported that only civilian casualties resulted from the strikes,” the official said.

“This demonstrates that only a precise counterterrorism campaign can be effective. Indiscriminate regime and Russian military offensives will only continue to lead to humanitarian catastrophe,” the U.S. official added.

The State Department official said the United States was continuing to engage the Russian government and military at senior levels “to make clear that such escalation must be avoided.”

The White House has warned that the United States and its allies would respond “swiftly and vigorously” if government forces used chemical weapons in the widely expected offensive.

Tens of thousands of Syrians living in rebel-held towns in Idlib took to the streets on Friday to protest the impending campaign vowing they would never accept Assad’s rule and would resist any offensive to retake opposition areas.

The globalist whore of the US in the UN - Nikki Hayley is doing her typical rhetoric like the last two times.

From looking at a reliable twitter account;
https://twitter.com/StratSentinel

- the Russian military have been doing a lot of movements recently, including Ukraine. Quite a few ships are active in the Med and will be backing the ground forces for the push.

Russian intelligence has again warned about a false flag chemical attack to be conducted by the typical stage actors. I did read tweets saying movement of chemicals into the area was seen but I cant find them.

Also some warnings from the Russians claiming to carry out future attacks in an area where US soldiers are based. Interesting if that plans out.

To clarify more about ship movements in the Med. The Russians have placed a lot of ships there in anticipation of a false flag attack and to deny the US and NATO fleets any advantage of launching strikes from the sea.

It will be a case of "you will have to go through us" to bomb Syrian targets.

Here we go once again!
The USA and Israel don't accept that they lost big time in Syria and want to relaunch the war with a false flag attack.
It looks like a go-ahead from the White House.
The Wall Street Journal has just published a bombshell on Sunday evening as Russian and Syrian warplanes continue bombing raids over al-Qaeda held Idlib, citing unnamed US officials who claim "President Bashar al-Assad of Syria has approved the use of chlorine gas in an offensive against the country’s last major rebel stronghold."

With God's help, I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
Washington Post Wrote:President Trump, who just five months ago said he wanted “to get out” of Syria and bring U.S. troops home soon, has agreed to a new strategy that indefinitely extends the military effort there and launches a major diplomatic push to achieve American objectives, according to senior State Department officials.

Although the military campaign against the Islamic State has been nearly completed, the administration has redefined its goals to include the exit of all Iranian military and proxy forces from Syria, and establishment of a stable, nonthreatening government acceptable to all Syrians and the international community.

Much of the motivation for the change, officials said, stems from growing doubts about whether Russia, which Trump has said could be a partner, is able and willing to help eject Iran. Russia and Iran have together been Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s principal allies in obliterating a years-long effort by domestic rebels to oust the Syrian leader.

Has an incoming false flag ever been more obvious?

The infowar surrounding this over the last week has been incredible.

Russia warning of false flag attack, Nikki Lena (and Trump) saying US is watching and will be very angry if CW are used and civilians slaughtered, now WSJ saying a US envoy is convinced Assad has okayed the chemical attack (does the envoy also know the type of shawarma Asma made Bashar last night?) ... but THE most telling of which has been Youtube taking down and terminating the official Syrian State Youtube channel (SANA) as well as Assad's official Youtube channel (Syrian Presidency).

I mean, this war has been going on for 7 years almost, and just NOW Youtube all of a sudden takes down all counter-narrative channels?

Baffling, especially on the eve of 9/11 anniversary ...

WikiLeaks has been non-stop tweeting about Syria last 2 days ... something going off seems inevitable now.

Max Abrahams is having fun with this (he's calling it BS before it even happens)

It seems to be a matter of time now ... tomorrow ***could*** be interesting

RE: The Syria conflict thread
The CIA and Mossad would really like to keep their pets alive and usable for different actions it would seem. Its a matter of will the Russians actually keep to their word and not allow US/NATO ships close to the Syrian coastline?

I was also watching a video stating Syrian airplanes have the same signature as the Russians so any action taken against Syrian planes would be a 50/50 shot at either SAA/Russian. Can they do that? Im not sure.

I have a feeling that Russia could get some very interesting information if they capture the right people over there. They won't hold back in interrogations.

RE: The Syria conflict thread
It's happening! The US and Israel have began filming the staged chemical military attack they need as an excuse to relaunch the war in Syria.
Footage, meant to serve as proof that the Syrian government has conducted a chemical weapons attack in Idlib, Syria, is to be handed to global news outlets by the end of Tuesday, the Russian military claims.

Several Middle East TV channels and a US news channel have been sent to Jisr al-Shughur in Syria’s Idlib Governorate to produce the footage needed for the provocation, a statement by the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation said. It added the intelligence came from local residents of Jisr al-Shughur.
