I saw him on his first stop of his college tour and my experience was a lot different. He was suited up, wasn't dropping f-bombs, and was very well spoken and elegant. There's two factors I think might have accounted for our different experiences.

1) When I saw him he was still fresh from not haven't been on the road trip grind for so long. I remember another guy a few pages back who also had attended one of his lectures wrote up a report: (/thread-50871...pid1277922) and looks like it was kinda similar to what debeguiled wrote above. At this point he's probably starting to really get worn out and maybe that is responsible for the more dour and don't give a fuck attitude.

2) The lecture I was him at was the one that featured the infamous incident with the protestors smearing themselves in red paint during his lecture and starting a 'Black lives matter' chant. As discussed above, Milo is a guy that thrives on conflict and having an opponent to joust with and this was the lecture that featured the biggest push back. Seems like none of the other stops had the same sort of fireworks as what happened at Rutgers.

Well I would argue the heckling, Trigglypuff and all the other assorted stuff also count as decent fireworks. Basically you are right though, I am very tolerant of Milo's shit but even I have a hard time getting behind all the "ironic" brand building he's doing now, holding his talks while wearing sunglasses indoors and all that.

Yeah, it is not like he is a comedian who has been on the road for twenty years or anything. He is having to learn a lot of intense stuff on the fly. Steep learning curve.
