My wife came to Greece last summer for a short trip (before we married). Everything went extremely well, she really liked it there and everyone (family and friends) was impressed by her as well. I remember flying into Canada with one of my friends, who had lived on the US side of the Canadian border, west of the Great Lakes. We're both US citizens.

I got through just fine, but for some reason, he got delayed.

@Kamami4, yes, they knew all the story, and I had a recommendation letter for her, signed and accompagnied by a copy of my passport.

As far as I know, requesting a change of religion to request "Islam" to be written on a Thai National ID card takes several years, and is hardly reversible, so this wasn't really an option for us. That sucks, but it's how the government works.

I have a girlfriend now. She is pushing for marriage within a year. But, I would prefer to date her for another three months before we transition to marriage. I know, on a primal level, I am in wife hunting mode. I personally would like to get married to her or someone within a year and than transition into building a business with my new wife. My goal is to get out of the game, by getting married, I have no interest in staying in the game, I am more interested in raising a great son or daughter with my new bride. That is the legacy I would like to leave behind.

I can't imagine living in the states again, and would not want my children to be raise in a feminist state. I know our country "merica" is on the decline economically, I see no point of returning with my new bride. I am now searching for a place, that we both can thrive in a climate that is pro men, with respect to basic human rights.

I feel exactly the same way. What areas are you looking and have you found any place appealing to you so far? Are you concentrating on places within the country your GF is from? I imagine getting a wife and then relocated you both to a foreign land would be pretty challenging.

I am going to Vietnam in August.

I am going in very cynical for two reasons.

1. Mexico is so far considered the number 1 contender on this thread with Vietnam a close second for family girl material. Mexico has been a huge flop for me so far. I just don't like the cities, the culture, even the Mexican food is much better where I live than Mexico itself! So I hope Vietnam isn't another flop because that knocks off the top 2 pretty damn quick.

2. Went to Thailand in 2008. I absolutely loathe the aggressive selling at markets, tourist places, taxis, scams and so on. I'd felt much happier in Colombia with a larger threat of violence with no day-to-day hassles. I have heard from friends including one that has gone to both Vietnam and Thailand that Vietnam is like Thailand on crack in regards to the aggressive hassling.

My plan is to hit Saigon, Da Nang, and maybe some countryside in between over the 2 weeks I will have. I am going with a friend that is locked up in a serious relationship with a Mexican-American chick that is a nurse and is nuturing, can't cook though, has attitude, and is very possessive of him. I also spotted her on Tinder a year or so back when they had already been in a relationship for awhile. They met on Tinder.

He is there 100% for tourism and to relax. He has a good mouthpiece and will open people. He is skinny tallish and pretty white so I guess Vietnamese chicks will like him. He won't be gaming at all though and his mind will be elsewhere. I am trying to cut this trip half and half. Spending time with my friend while also letting the country sink in to see if it is worth posting up ever to knab a chick.

Does anyone have tips on how to best experience the country in this small of time?

How to avoid the aggressive selling and scamming? This stuff gets to me more easily than most. My friend coming with me is rock solid with this stuff so that helps.

I will get a linen summer suit made of course, somehow! Any recommendations on a good tailor so I can get measured and order as soon as I get there?

Thailand in 2008 wasn't what it is today - aggressive selling has gone down and police is cracking down on scams. I've seem Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Philippines in Southeast Asia, and I think they are all viable except Philippines - looks like USA but poorer. They completely lost their culture, and single moms are breeding like stray dogs while lacking resources to feed their kids. That was my experience there, but for the rest, continental SEA seemed all fine to me. Cant't speak for Mexico though - never been there. One thing is sure though - stay away from white chicks, except perhaps for Eastern Europe.

The problem with SEA is that many Western countries will make it very hard to bring your wife, even for a small vacation. My girlfriend (who will likely become my wife at this pace) is currently applying for a visa to come to Canada. Despite having tons of cash in the bank, a brand new car and a house, we forsee difficulties, as she isn't a Muslim. I'll update on the outcome of the process, but we are hiring a specialized law firm to take care of that.

She matches every criteria that I need for a wife.
1) She needs to be a virgin -- OK, and I am convinced
2) She needs to come from a complete family with both parents married -- OK, lall good
3) She needs to cook -- Kind of. She can make sandwiches, but she probably won't land a job in a restaurant
4) She needs to massage -- OK, I get it everyday
5) She needs to be willing to stay at home for the kids -- Kind of. She's like to make money online as well, which is fine.
6) She needs to know how to stay away from attention whoring on social media -- Soso. She loves to post pics of the expensive places she goes, but always posts pictures with me, and has only 100 FB friends.

Part of a wife's evaluation must be in regards to managing her money - does she do anything useful with money you bring to her (or money that she acquires through her work)? Let's compare two scenarios:
- My current LTR: When money comes in, she saves, plays stock and Bitcoin, and has quite a lot of money for someone her age.
- My old LTR: When money came in, it was spent on handbags, new shoes, and candy. She had $0 in the bank / blockchain.

As most of the guys said - choose the country before choosing the girl. Experience a few countries, and travel. Once you get the feel for a country and its culture, learn the language (school if you need it), make sure you are totally location-independant, THEN, look for a suitable wife.

Tinder game in Vietnam worked very well for me. Headed to Hanoi, was planning to stay just for 5 days, but one day before I left I met this Vietnamese girl. Nothing happened on this day, but on the second, she dropped over my hotel, everything happened as expected and then she invited to go to Da Nang.

The good thing: She paid for everything. Flight tickets, hotel, taxis and some places there in Da Nang. We spent 3 days or so, then I went back to Bangkok.

Surely, the experience in Vietnam was way better than I expected after I met her. Went to some cool places, ate some nice food, fucked a lot and had a great craic.

Da Nang seems to be a good spot as well for girls.

As a side note, it's not my experience. Been scammed at least three times - and quite recently - by "cigarette police" (police - in uniform - looking for tourists who are smoking or drop a cigarette butt, then they ask them for their passport and make them pay 2,000 baht) in Bangkok. Everytime I dealed with 1000 bath, but it's still a huge hassle (they take you to the police kiosk, ect).

Rawmeo, if you aren't married yet and she has a decent job, (educated Thais with a good career travel abroad all the time) she shouldn't have too many issues getting a tourist visa to the EU for sure and I suspect Canada is not as difficult as you may think. My wife visited my family in Greece last year and we also went to two other EU countries as well (she applied for the EU visa on her own). If you do get married don't register the marriage with the Canadian gov't and only do so if you plan on her emigrating to Canada. There was a recent thread on wives not taking the husband's last name, but in this scenario I would refrain from that as well. My wife was disappointed that I didn't let her take my last name 'yet'. I also haven't registered our marriage with the Canadian or Greek government. Btw congrats on killing it financially in Thailand.

On average I think Vietnamese chicks were the hottest Asian girls I experienced after the Koreans.

Your friend is right...People in Vietnam are more aggressive than in Thailand. Read up on the various scams in VN before you go.

I even got scammed in the METERED TAXI LINE at the main airport in HCMC after verbally confirming the guy was a metered taxi.

Overall I enjoyed VN. Just try to relax. I loved the females there.

I agree the females in VN can be good LTR material. Much more so than many of the other asian countries I visited. They are both hard working and intelligent.
I would get bored with filipinas in 15 minutes.....not so in Vietnam.

I've also heard the same advice from my lawyer - my plan is to stay legally single until December, take her for Christmas, then in January get officially married, request permanent residence status, and get things working. We think that she'll get the visa. When we get legally married, she'll take my name.

Speaking of that - anyone hunting for a wife should make sure that she is willing to take your name, only exception is if you have a VERY common name (a girl who comes from a family whose last name is only used by 10 people won't be charmed at the idea of becoming Mrs. Smith). But even in that case - if you will start a family with a girl, better share the same last name. You don't want her to be constantly correcting people "No, I'm not Mrs. XXXXXX" and having to explain why she didn't take your name.

I don't know about the difficulty of EU visas, as I never had to apply for one and my passport allows me visa-free travel, but if you can get a Canadian one, you're a beast.

So this is what Southern California in general is:

A bunch of 7's with some 8's of diverse nature which is great. The male competition is huge though.

If you date a 7+ she has probably had serious boyfriends or hooked up with several 8+ males often times with family money. Lots of alpha widow syndrome.

The answer is an emphatic no.

You may be able to knab a mid 6 or low 7 in church community if you spend a lot of time, even in those there is a lot of competition.

California has a 70%+ divorce rate I believe for good reason. People have too many options.

I wouldn't want to raise a family here ever.

I think many of the people especially native Southern Californians have hollow personalities, compared to transplants. Growing up half in the Midwest half in SoCal, I can state emphatically growing up in the Midwest was much better for me as a person.

The type that visit Santa Barbara for school or work or whatever are looking to live that Southern California lifestyle of beach, wine, and fucking good looking beach guys which I have been one of and have friends that are so I know what these chicks do.

You are talking to someone with 1k+ day time approaches here in SoCal. That has to be in the top 1% of any man alive on the planet that isn't Brazilian.

The most damning evidence of all is any guy I have met that has had a 7+ that is younger as a serious girlfriend he is in the top 5% of guys in coolness factors, looks, money (musician, restaurant owner/manager, bartender, artist, trust fund kid... whatever).

If it was top 15-20% to get that I would be fine.

I don't like the odds of 70% divorce, 10 years alimony for life, and needing to be a top 5% male to get what I would consider should be a run of the mill wife material in looks. This isn't even delving into personality.

Wondering what you guys think of my plan to find an ltr abroad.

My work schedule in the states is fairly lenient, however I can only travel abroad maybe 1 week every month or so. Typically it is something like don't travel abroad for a few months then take two weeks off, then take a long weekend here and there. Because it is sporadic, my plan is this: Make a deal with a girl on seeking arraignment in Serbia in which she will help me find a ltr with a diffferent local girl. I will give the girl helping me maybe 1k upfront and then an additional maybe 5k after the fist year of the ltr and another 5k after year 2. Money isn''t an issue for me and going to these places sporadically isn't producing any real fruits. I am 31 and looking for an SMV 10, so I feel having a local chick on my side (who doesn't disclose to anyone our deal) would help immensely. Thoughts? Thanks

The same can also be said about a woman's advice on travel. They will typically steer you away from places with females they'd feel threatened by.
