The only arguments I've heard against Trump from the right that actually make sense are from religious people who disapprove of Trump on moral grounds. They might couch it in different terms, but it ultimately comes down to their belief that Trump is not to be trusted because they view him as immoral. They view everything through the lens of their religion, after all. We're talking about people who would strongly disapprove of everyone on this forum as well.

Obviously I disagree with them but at least that's a concrete reason not to vote for him from their point of view. It's better than the baseless fear mongering all the other anti-Trumpers use.

If they're objecting to Donald Trump on the grounds that he's immoral it's difficult to see how the hell they could be voting for Ted Cruz. Or any politician. Politicians serve only one god: power.

The reason Cruz does better then Trump in states in the Central part of the US is due to those people disliking the Federal government, and Cruz says he would abolish the IRS.

Trump is leading in every county in Hawaii so far. Still too early to call it though.

Hawaii looking good. Trump at 46.5% and Cruz at 28.3% with 22.2% of the vote in. Each district has Trump leading so far so it's a likely win. Doesn't mean a ton as far as delegates go, to it looks good to get 3 out of 4 instead of 2 out of 4, even if the 2 you win are bigger states.

If Hawaii continues Little Marco might not end up with any delegates tonight

Does anyone know if Hawaii has a delegate threshold?

I can't think of a worse story for Rubio heading into March 15 than not winning a single delegate tonight.

I think it's completely proportional with no threshold, so he'll get a few. Hawaii has 19 delegates and little marco is at 12% right now. 12% of 19 is 2. Still pretty embarrassing though.

I'm not saying it makes sense objectively. Have you ever looked into some of the crazy stuff some of the more extreme religious sects believe? Or even just some of the stuff in the bible. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Leviticus.

I don't want to get into a big theological discussion or anything, but while I believe in God and I am a Christian, I am firmly convinced about 98% of everything in organized religion is about controlling people through a combination of social pressure and fear. So, given that, I don't expect people who fully buy into organized religion to be particularly objective about the world.

As an example, they might consider Cruz morally superior to Trump simply because Cruz is still married to his first wife, and Trump is on wife #3. I bet that fact alone is enough to cost Trump considerable votes. And I think you might be surprised how superficially many religious people view things.

Trump just jumped up again in Hawaii with 26.7% in. At 46.6% now.
