Do you know the number on trophy ISIS wants more than anything else is the Vatican?
They want to destroy the Vatican. I said in my little release, You should only hope Trump is president if something happens.

Ohaha what a boss. Such high-ground maneuver.

Francis should tread a bit carefully. If begged to help the Vatican, I daresay Donald Trump will impose terms a lot less favourable than Jan Sobieski to turn back a Muslim invasion of Europe.

That's been by virtue of having party support, though; I don't think there's ever been a candidate so openly loathed by the party establishment, maybe Goldwater in '64, who squeaked out a win in NH (~22%) and the South Carolina primary didn't exist back then.
Rules and historical precedence are being thrown out the window in this election cycle...
The "pundits" on Politico are driving me fucking crazy:
Quote:24. 35. 33. Remember these numbers. With a little rounding, they are the vote percentages for Donald Trump in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. If you look at the GOP field, it’s clear that you’d rather be Trump than any of his opponents right now. But if you take a step back and look at the numbers, it’s also clear that Trump has still not answered the question at the heart of his candidacy: Can he get substantially more than a third of GOP primary voters to show up and pull the lever for him? The answer might end up being yes, but so far there isn’t any evidence that it is. If Trump can’t start getting his numbers consistently above 40 percent in the upcoming states (especially after the buzz coming off of two wins, in New Hampshire and South Carolina), then there is room for a challenger to consolidate past him. If he keeps putting up the same numbers he has, his rivals don’t even have to peel off Trump voters to catch him. And, more importantly, if he continues to hover in the thirties, it does not bode well for him in a general election. Winning crowded primaries is better than losing crowded primaries—but it’s hard to ride one-third of one party to the White House.
Lmao, Trump SHATTERS records by bringing out voters en masse and these leftists fucks are still ragging on him with this bullshit about a "ceiling". Give me a fucking break. These fucks need to go back to the 3rd grade to review some basic algebra: 5 candidates in the running mean the vote is split 5 goddamn ways. Even that being said, what candidate in history has ever gotten the %'s Trump has gotten?
I can't wait for these idiots to eat shit when God Emperor Trump is elected.
Sean Hannity after Trump's win last night, surprisingly fresh commentary from a big media personality, even shutting down one "pundit" for spewing bullshit. Features Newt Gingrich's positive commentary on Trump's domination.
Trump has mentioned that he would pick a politician for his VP pick, if not a current or former General I wouldn't be surprised if he picked Newt. He has rather centrist ideas, and was successful in the party until they squeezed him out. Has a "can do" reputation for his work done in the House. Even mentioned building a fence along the border back in 2012. Downside is while he is said to be tough on immigration he supports a guest worker program. Would help in the south.

Oh and like Trump he's had 3 wives.
Hannity has been pretty fair towards Trump the last couple of times I have seen him.
Newt has been fair as well. You very well may be onto something here with a possible Newt VP pick.
If the Left and Right Elites are not careful it will be another French Style revolution with the elites as the targets Guillotines and all.
Even the left wingers I know are on this boat. If things happen with either camp where both Trump and Bernie are killed off(even at different time periods). There will be fighting in the streets.

At that point left and right won't matter.
There's a bit too much circle jerk fantasizing about "revolution" and "taking back the power" from the "elites" and "government" around here. And I'm not just calling out the two posters above. I've seen dozens of members mention this in one way or another over the past few months.
Let's have a thought experiment. Say there IS a "revolution". Say we manage to get 75% of the police and 50% of the military to join us. Then 20% of the Military just goes AWOL, leaving us to fight with 30% of the US Military. So lets say that after 2 years, we manage to defeat all the government goons, and Washington DC belongs to "the people".
Now what? What happens next? Who leads the country? What happens to the laws? Do we elect new leadership? If so, who decides?
Even in this VERY optimistic scenario, I can tell you what would occur: The most blood thirsty, hardened group of fighters/survivors would most likely seize power. Either everyone else would fall in line, or there would continue to be civil war for an unknown amount of time.
Regardless of HOW it ended, I assure you that "revolution" is not in our best interests. I don't know about you, but for me, things are nearly bad enough for me to want to pick up arms over it. I can always LEAVE, and apply for citizenship in a country that meets my needs.
Destroying everything and rebuilding it how you see fit SOUNDS nice, but you have to remember that not everyone sees things the way you do. The "new" powers might just be worse than the old ones.
Anyways, end rant. Just trying to put things in perspective for those who are jerking off thinking about civil war. If you want civil war, go to a country experiencing it, see how sexy the fantasy stays in your mind.

I never said it was a good thing. No one insinuated that. It's just in some cases it's imminent.
Events like the above that we mentioned would be a good sign of getting out of dodge ASAP with just the clothes on your back. If anything this motivates people to build up a lifestyle and bankroll here/abroad so events like Civil War would be avoided.
Edit: Not to mention it's always good to be realistic. We've had no major disruptions in Western Society for close to 60 years(since right after World War II). History is cyclical, therefore it is safe to presume something like that is bound to happen soon enough. Even in recent years the L.A. Riots and the riots after the death of MLK. It's a pretty safe bet.
To our one star low rep members who think any rational talk of a major turmoil or economic and political revolution may not be closer than they think, considering the USA's $19 Trillion in National Debt a $2.5 Trillion recent budget adding to the debt and $200+ Trillion in total unfunded liabilities Federal, State, County, City and Local Towns workers pensions and retirement healthcare, Medicare Medicaid and Social Security... Fed QE $4.5 Trillion and unlimited Fed EU open window debt facilities to refund the EU after Lehman Brothers collapse - the Globalist Debt and Interest burden is near a tipping point a.k.a. a massive credit bubble:
The $60 Trillion Credit Bubble about to burst is not going to be pretty...
Those of us with accumulated wisdom and experience are preparing for this next major US Economic Bubble about to Burst sooner than later... You have been exposed to learned wisdom - heed or ignore - your Choice... like most things economic the butterfly effect often starts small (Arab Spring, 2008/09 Market Crash and severe recession etc) and then balloons out of control into major events NO one - None of us can control - all you can do is prepare:
It truly is Trump or Bust at this time in our young nation's history.

They're going to try to kill him. They've probably got some moonbat loons in mind they can crank up on Adderall and push over the edge. Trump needs security beefed up YUGE right now.
I don't think they can. They already played that card with Scalia and so people will be on "clandestine execution" alert even if trump legitimately died.
Even if trump died, or were killed...I wonder if one of his sons could hail mary themselves into the race as an independent? If Ivanka weren't popping out a kid she would be an obvious choice and a shoe in.
Ivanka running after a trump death would be following in the footsteps of: Indira Ghandi or Yulia Tomoshenko running after Victor Yuskencho's poisoning. She could even rock the same hairstyle
Tl;dr They can't kill trump after Scalia and if they did they'd have to kill his whole family as they could run as legacy candidates.
Quote:FIX: Over the weekend, NBC’s Katy Tur tweeted about how Trump’s rhetoric during his speeches is leading to some very aggressive responses from his supporters to the media covering him. Have you experienced anything like that? And have you noticed a ramping-up of either Trump’s anti-media rhetoric or the reactions it causes among his backers?
Johnson: It varies from rally to rally, state to state. And, honestly, for several weeks it seemed to be getting better. Part of the reason is that we were spending a lot of time in Iowa and New Hampshire, where the rally crowds were often smaller and less rowdy. And Trump seemed to have dialed back his comments about reporters -- he still calls us scum, dishonest and the worst people he has ever met, but he stopped singling out specific reporters at rallies and instructing his crowds to not trust those specific people. In the past week, we are once again spending more time at huge rallies, often in southern states, where it's easier for someone to shout something nasty and then disappear into the crowd.
It's important to note that even when reporters face offensive blow-back from rally goers, it's often a small number of people in a huge crowd. I have met so many kind, helpful, dedicated Trump supporters who understand that I'm simply doing my job -- and they seem eager to explain themselves, their positions and their candidate to the readers of the Washington Post. I cannot even count the number of times that Trump supporters have gone above and beyond to help me do my job, from opening up about their own personal financial problems or views on race to suggesting some really great local lunch spots.
But all of those positive interactions can be easily forgotten when a reporter is verbally attacked at a rally or on Twitter, as is often the case. The few bad experiences that I have had pale in comparison to what several of my fellow reporters have experienced. Television reporters like Tur and Sara Murray from CNN are some of the most visible Trump reporters and that has made them the easiest targets. Last month, Sopan Deb from CBS was accosted by a Trump supporter at a rally in Reno who accused Deb of working for Islamic State terrorists.
There are about a dozen reporters who regularly follow Trump and have been doing so for months. We rarely sleep in our own beds and usually get only a few hours of sleep per night. We rarely see our relatives, friends or significant others and have missed so many birthday parties, weekend brunches and special milestones in the lives of the people we love. We struggle to not gain weight as we piece together meals at arena concession stands, airport food courts and gas stations. We work hard to accurately and fairly cover Trump's candidacy. And while we all have thick skin, it's not easy to be attacked for simply doing our jobs -- especially when comments focus on our looks and not our work.
Luckily, the attacks thus far have been verbal or written, not physical. I was relieved when Trump received U.S. Secret Service protection in November. There was a particularly chilling moment in late December when Trump responded to criticism of his embrace of Putin, who has been accused of ordering the deaths of journalists, and jokingly debated aloud if he would ever do the same. Although Trump made clear that he's anti-killing journalists, it was unsettling to hear the roaring laughter and cheers from the crowd that day, followed by the small number of Trump's fans who began to mirror his language in tweets and messages to reporters.
FIX: Does Trump treat the press corps any differently off camera than he does on camera? Or does he still not interact with you at all — or very little?
Johnson: We have very little interaction with him on a daily basis, but we occasionally get close. The Donald Trump you see in a small setting -- a visit to a campaign office, a quick interview backstage, a lunch stop -- is a different person than the bellowing, insult-throwing candidate you see on the rally stage. In one-on-one settings, he's charming, softer spoken and rather relatable. While his nasty, mean comments get the most attention, he's also capable of being overwhelmingly kind, almost to the point of being uncomfortably kind. I've interviewed a number of people who have spent a little bit of time with Trump -- big-name endorsers, dedicated volunteers, police officers assigned to protect him -- and all remark on how he somehow made them feel like the most important person in the world.
FIX: You’ve been covering Trump since the beginning. What’s the biggest change in him — if any — you’ve noticed?
Johnson: We've seen proof that he's human. For years, Trump has branded himself as this indefatigable super hero. While many men his age have lost their hair and retired, Trump is married to a former super model with whom he has a son who is in grade school. Trump, 69, boasts about only sleeping a few hours a night and promises to never take vacation if he's elected. Despite eating a diet of mostly fast food and soda, Trump claims to be exceptionally healthy. He has mocked former Florida governor Jeb Bush, 63, for being "low energy" and said that Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, 68, is exhausted and lacking the strength and stamina needed for the job.
In December, Trump seemed to lose his voice after a marathon of campaign stops. Leading up to the Iowa caucuses, Trump at times seemed lethargic and tired. The day of the New Hampshire primary, Trump pledged to do as many as half-a-dozen campaign stops but then just briefly stopped by a couple polling locations in between television interviews. The night before the South Carolina primary, his voice was hoarse and he only spoke at his big primary-eve rally for about 30 minutes.
FIX: Who is in Trump’s inner circle. I notice his wife, sons and Ivanka seem to be out on the trail more with him of late. Is it a family-first operation? Or are there others he is traveling with, consulting with and relying on day to day?
Johnson: After months of being solo on the trail, we are seeing much more of Trump's family. His wife is briefly speaking at a few events, and his two oldest sons regularly do television interviews and hold campaign events, often with a hunting focus. Ivanka Trump -- who is due to have her third child soon -- also made appearances in early-voting states. In addition to providing personal support, Trump's family humanizes him. His defense to questions of his Christianity or morality is often to point to the family he helped raise.
While most campaigns keep their top officials holed up at the headquarters, Trump is nearly always accompanied by his campaign manager and spokeswoman, along with political director Michael Glassner. He has recently started hiring policy advisors and building out a kitchen cabinet. But it's important to remember that Trump is mostly a one-man show who largely makes decisions on his own with minimal input from others.
FIX: Finish this sentence: The single most important thing about Donald Trump that you wouldn’t pick up from just watching him on TV is ________________. Now, explain.
Johnson: He is very calculated and purposeful in what he says. Trump can seem all over the place, especially when he doesn't seem to be answering the question he was just asked in a television interview. He's purposely not answering that question, pivoting to another topic and talking over any follow-up questions from the host until he or she gives up trying to get an answer and moves on to the next question.
Damn if he is that healthy while eating mostly fastfood and soda he may actually be superhuman.
