And shockingly, there is talk now that Mitch Turtleface is gonna backstab Trump again on the national emergency deal they had. Mitch just said he is not sure if the NE is legal or not; which is his way of giving himself an out to kill the NE initiative from Congress. Trump made a massive mistake trusting that world class piece of shit and the entire GOPe. They got the tax cuts for their multi-national corporate donors and don't give two shits about helping Trump on the MAGA agenda.

And this isn't even touching on the voter fraud aspects from illegals voting (what... like 90k in Texas), voter harvesting bullshit in California, gerrymandering in Pennsylvania and so forth. Two years with a technical majority and couldn't get a Voter ID law passed? Come on.

People don't like to think about it but Trump BARELY won against one of the most vile candidates in modern history. His margins of victory in several battleground states were in the very low single digits. Trump's incredible ground game combined with Hillary's complacency/laziness played a significant role in getting Trump over the line.

Here's the thing: The democrats don't have their guard down anymore and are clearly open to lying, stealing, cheating at any level to take Trump out. In a fair system, Trump already has a massive uphill battle based on demographics alone.

In this corrupt system where no one has their guard down anymore and Trump has punted on his signature campaign issue (meaning enthusiasm will be down from before if nothing changes) AND he has to deal with the backstabbing GOPe, it's looking mighty bleak for Trump in 2020.

Trump could still turn things around but he has GOT to get the MAGA people in his inner cycle from top to bottom. Trump is a multi-decade executive and should understand delegation, how to do it properly, and how you can't delegate major pieces of your agenda to non-loyalist/anti-MAGA people.

But that's what we're getting now. He delegates to the GOPe. He delegates to Kushner. People who DO NOT have the best interest of the MAGA agenda in mind. Not even close. All the while he talks shit about Coulter, people in MAGA hats are getting punched in the face, every conservative voice is being silenced in digital public squares, and Bannon is off in the wilderness trying to build a wall with Go Fund Me money.

Not trying to be a downer but it is what it is. Trump fucked up and he is probably going to pay the price in 2020 unless he gets his shit together.

Trump giving a conference right now announcing no deal. Earlier today when he was meeting with Kim previously he had already been downplaying expectations a bit. Pompeo speaking about how they couldn't come to a final agreement but they will continue to keep working at a deal. No hostility or anger expressed so it seems fairly amicable.

Reporter asking if the lifting of sanctions was being asked for and if that was a big reason a deal was not reached and Trump responded yes. Trump said Kim was pushing for sanctions to be lifted but Trump wasn't willing to to do so without other perks being offered. Not a bad thing. A lot of haters were talking about how Trump was going to get played and give up everything.

The fact that the Hanoi summit was cancelled early and no deal is being made is disappointing.

But I have to remember North Korea has no choice... it’s not an economic issues, they hack banks all over the world for money.. so can still squeak by from sanctions. Don't know about that. Kim's life is on the line. He has no choice but to transition NK into the 21st century, but on his terms.

War with the US = he dies
Internal revolt/coupe = he dies
Speedy democratic transition = he dies

He'll do what he must to stay alive but change is on the horizon. That change will be slow and painful because one wrong step and he's done for.

War with them isn't ideal at all. Improving the sanctions is key to choking them out, but we have less and less allies to support us in that. Kim's neighbors have extremely little incentive to make the sanctions stronger.

Russian relations are at an all time low now with Cold War 2.0 starting. They could in fact give Kim aid and weapons just to ruin our sanctions. Thanks Demoncracts.

Economic Alliances will be key for Kim. He probably will try to ally with Russia if he is smart.

Great post Black Knight and this is our brutally tough reality now. More than likely one of the four she monsters will be President in 2021. I wish I could feel differently but the demographic tidal wave is strong and getting stronger by the day. The Republican Party is all but dead in NE, NY and NJ. On life support in CA. Kim needs to keep his nuclear weapons. It was America that set the rule with Saddam that if a country doesn't have nuclear protection it will submit to the NWO or die. Kim Jong Un will always be a more legitimate leader than President Ocasio-Cortez. North Korea chooses leaders. America chooses bartenders.

Time will ultimately be on Trump's side in this. Kim wouldn't be doing this unless he had to. The sanctions are killing North Korea. He has no choice but to change or eventually his own people are going to kill him. America has all the leverage here and now that Trump is grabbing China by the balls on trade too, North Korea's ace in the hole is weakening too.

For Kim it's either war, a coup, a "color revolution," or the China/Vietnam model of economic liberalization while still maintaining an authoritarian government. The fourth option is obviously the best for him.

This is why I've been saying for months that Trump should just declare limited martial law to get the following done:

1. To remove foreign invaders swiftly (it takes WAY too long to do this as in clear cut cases like with that fat bitch in Massachusetts recently).

2. Arrest elected officials who support foreign invaders.

3. Build the wall. The entire wall.

4. And force the GOPe and democrats to show their true colors. If it results in violent conflict, so be it. Rather fight now with Trump in office than later against a corrupt democrat super majority running things.

Think about this basic fact: we have a 700 billion plus DEFENSE budget and we basically cant use any of it to repel and remove 10 million plus foreigners invaders from our country. This is super retarded. The national emergency is a half measure of what he really needs to do. The NE powers were granted by Congress and they can take that away; which is exactly what Mitch Turtleface is working towards doing if his recent comments are any indication.

However, the President has full authority over the military with some conditional exceptions. As I've outlined before, Trump has clear cut Constitutional authority to invoke a limited martial law to remove foreign invaders. It will get challenged of course but he has a much stronger legal ground to stand on in my opinion since the authority comes from the Constitution and not Congress; which has made clear that they DO NOT want to remove foreigner invaders with any kind of serious or significant enforcement.

The only legit reason Trump is holding off that I can think of is because the Mueller probe has his hands tied right now and he knows the GOPe will impeach him if given the opportunity. But given his choice of dubious inner circle advisors/employees (which he has 100% control over) and his rejection of MAGA people, I'm not holding out much hope for a martial law declaration post Mueller investigation.

I'm sure Bannon would have floated the idea of martial law at this point as a legit option if he was still in the inner circle.
