Quote:A strong case can be made that American immigration levels have been far too high for many years and should be sharply reduced, and such a change would also greatly slow the ongoing demographic transformation that has so agitated large portions of the white American majority. But in this regard, Trump’s overwhelming focus on illegal immigration makes absolutely no sense at all. If we exclude a relatively small portion of the most highly-skilled legal immigrants, the remainder are probably not all that different in their characteristics from their undocumented counterparts, and indeed individuals may often shift back and forth between these two categories over time, as illegals gain green cards or legals remain here after their temporary visas expire. The ubiquitous rhetorical focus on illegal immigrants seems mostly due to a mixture of “political correctness” and political demagoguery, supplemented by sheer ignorance.

According to most estimates, the size of America’s undocumented population has been almost entirely stagnant since the Housing Meltdown wrecked employment in the construction industry, while net legal immigration has still regularly been running at a million or more a year. Therefore, it seems likely that nearly all net immigration over the last decade or so has been of the legal variety.

This is something I noted a while back about Australia.

Our legal immigration levels are flat out retarded. We're pushing 200,000 immigrants a year, and in 2016 our foreign born citizen number reached 28% of our entire population, but most people think that the immigration issue begin and ends with the few thousand "asylum seekers" who, granted, are the worst and are gratefully being kept out.

For America to remain socially solvent they would have to stop ALL immigration. ALL OF IT! And the fact that this is not even being discussed makes a breakup of the US inevitable when tax burdens and standards of living drop below the point that whites feel their children have a future.

As successful as Trump has been, this is why I feel vindicated in saying over a year ago that he didn't drop gears low enough to save America. With his rabid support base he could have kicked off an extremely rough civil movement that might have saved America. It would have been ugly but it also would have had a shot at doing the job.

By rejecting the ugly path and choosing to deal with the issues "in house" he's succumbed to a less-unpleasant 20 year solution aimed at dealing with a very unpleasant 10 year problem. Good jobs numbers are not going to stop what's coming down the line.

As for us Australians, most of our foreigners are from the UK but increasingly that's becoming meaningless as a descriptor. They could be one-generation-removed Pakistanis by that basis. But a stroll through the Melbourne CBD indicates that we will likely become a satrap nation of China, if China doesn't implode in a chain reaction to the US going under.

America is it's people, which is the whole reason the nation is going under in the first place. Those people are being replaced. If America withdraws to a renaissance zone then it's still more America than the current borders occupied by feckless Brazilian demographics.

If you want to fight then move North near the Canadian border, do what you can, and have a plan for exfil into Canada and beyond if the globalists succeed beyond our nightmares. The dirt-worlders don't fare well in cold climates, especially not in times of hardship where you haul wood or you freeze to death. The new America may end up consuming Canada while relinquishing the Southern states, deporting grateful invaders to the new Southern border and once again becoming a majority white nation under a Christian God.

Sounds crazy but much, much stranger things have happened.

I'd actually recommend Alaska both for reasons that are obvious and one that isn't obvious (protection from cataclysm events).

Talk of mass population movements within North America, redrawing of borders etc...I think these will happen but on a much longer time scale. I'm talking perhaps two centuries or so. All we've got to look at in our lifetime is a decline and bumpy plateau. Let's say that white internal migration towards a core white zone becomes a thing over the next decade. It will still take half a century to play out, and most of that time it won't even be on the radar - the same way it's been more than 50 years since the plug was pulled on white supermajority America, and some people still are unaware of it.
None of us here will ever live in a comfy, new white ethnostate. At most we will see the chaos that precedes its formation begin in earnest.

Therefore, it seems likely that nearly all net immigration over the last decade or so has been of the legal variety.

I looked this guy up and came up with the following:

http://www.unz.com/runz/immigration-or-t...are-state/

Looks like the usual cucked arguments of never Trumpers.

Unz calls immigrants a blessing and a net economic positive:

Quote:With proper government policies, immigrants are a blessing. We saw this with earlier waves of immigration, as America absorbed and assimilated tens of millions of foreign immigrants of every language, religion, and ethnicity. By 1900, some 20 percent of America’s total population was foreign-born, and an additional 10 percent arrived in the following decade.

[snip]

Even today, despite government policies that foster dependency, the immigration of the last three decades has still been a strong net positive for the American economy.

Immigrants don't take American jobs:

Quote:Though immigrants are frequently blamed for the severity of California’s current economic problems, there is no connection whatsoever between the two.

Silicone Valley couldn't function without Indian tech immigrants:

Quote:But immigrants are crucial not just to industries reliant on cheap, low-skilled labor. Silicon Valley, home to my own software company, is absolutely dependent upon immigrant professionals to maintain its technological edge.

Some of the other headings in this article from Unz are "No Cause for Alarm" and "Exaggerated Danger"

So then I read the other quoted section above, and Unz undues his own argument. He claims that the illegal immigrant population has remained steady (he does not specify the time period) but then admits that
Quote:individuals may often shift back and forth between these two categories over time, as illegals gain green cards or legals remain here after their temporary visas expire.
In other words, illegals find ways to get green cards. Some of them get married and get status through their new spouse, others got U-visas, others had anchor babies and eventually after years get sponsored by their anchors.

So illegals kept finding ways to legalize, as more illegals kept pouring in, and the overall number of illegals can appear static. Anyway, even if most current immigrants are legal, it just means there is to much immigration of all kinds.

Remember that demographic collapse happens for one reason: you aren't having enough kids. The average age of America is basically 38. Instead of a bell curve of age groups, you have a big cylinder.

That birth rate collapse is why you're importing so many illegals and so many legals. You simply don't have enough white or even black hands to keep America running, let alone build it. Same thing goes for Australia. Too many white women decided it'd be better to take the Pill and ride the cock carousel for two decades, and as those women got rich off outsourcing and then offshoring and now outright importation of low labor costs, they mortgaged off their own future.

I was surprised many of you missed this propaganda piece out of Tokyo:

https://www.news.com.au/world/breaking-n...c2cc29dd53

Quote:Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's cabinet has approved draft legislation to open the door to more overseas blue-collar workers in sectors grappling with labour shortages, a controversial policy shift in immigration-shy Japan.

Japan's immigration debate is heating up even as US President Donald Trump puts the topic front and centre for next week's congressional mid-term elections.

Immigration has long been taboo as many Japanese prize ethnic homogeneity, but the reality of an ageing, shrinking population is challenging such views.

Despite misgivings in Abe's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), parliament is likely to adopt the revisions in the face of intense pressure from businesses battling the tightest labour market in decades, although opposition parties could delay.

The revised law would create two new visa categories for foreigners in sectors with labour shortages.

While not spelt out, they are expected to be more than a dozen, from farming and construction to hotels and nursing care.

Justice Minister Takashi Yamashita on Thursday ruled out a numerical cap, but media said 500,000 blue-collar workers could be allowed in over time, up 40 per cent from the 1.28 million foreign workers now forming about 2 per cent of the workforce.

Workers in the first visa category must have a certain level of skills and Japanese language ability. They would not be allowed to bring family members for a stay of up to five years.

But those with higher skills, in the second category, could bring family and eventually get residency.

Japan has grown more accepting of foreign labour but the focus has been on professionals and the highly skilled.

For blue-collar workers, employers mostly rely on a "technical trainees" system and foreign students working part-time, loopholes critics say are abused.

"Today it is quite difficult for foreigners to get ... jobs as security guards," said Shigeki Yawata, security manager at security firm Executive Protection Inc, which has employed non-Japanese for more than a dozen years. "The Olympic Games are coming up and the government is working on inbound tourism, so we would like to have more foreigners, too."

LDP lawmakers signed off on the bill after heated party debate. Many expressed concerns about crime and a negative effect on wages. Opposition politicians accuse the government of undue haste without protecting foreign workers' rights.

"The LDP decision was ... pushed by businesses with a serious shortage of workers," said Toshihiro Menju, managing director of the Japan Center for International Exchange, a think tank.

A recent survey by the Yomiuri newspaper showed 51 per cent of Japanese voters favoured letting in more unskilled foreign workers.

"I think it's a good thing as long as there is a support system for the foreigners," said retiree Yoshio Sai.

"I wish they could make more work opportunities for us old people too."

This is what the beginning of the end of Japan as a beautiful, pristine culture looks like. And as with America, as with Australia, as with the UK, as with Germany, it happens for the same reason as ever: because the System needs more and more consumers to sell shit to and more and more truck drivers to move shit from place to place. As always, it's business that demands more workers. And as always, it's a stupid majority of plebs who think you can solve your slave shortage problem by importation. Again, this is fucking Japan, the most racist country on the face of the Earth that's doing this. This is a country whose word for foreigner is gaijin. Outsider, potential enemy, in its original 13th century form. More commonly, as Michael Crichton tells us, it means barbarian. Vulgar, stinking, stupid barbarian. If those motherfuckers can eventually be convinced that letting the stinking hordes in to do their work, what fucking hope is there for the West with its addictions to easy credit, blindness to what everyday robotics and AI means, and Instagram?

In short: you gotta have more kids. You need a fucking tidal wave of them, and you need to educate them faster, better, and more tactically than the Chinese and Indian brute-force culture hacking that you are losing at. You've failed with black America, and white America is going down now as we watch. It is as simple and complicated as that.

I am amazed by how Americans revere JFK. Must be because he was assassinated. It was JFK who began the pivot to Latino immigration: he was the guy who allowed the US to stop preferencing immigrants from white European nations over perennial shitholes like Mexico and points south. JFK was the start of the La Raza invasion that is about to consume Texas and Arizona and which has already consumed California.

The last great leftist hypocrisy: the same people who want unrestricted floods of immigrants are usually the same ones who champion abortion and not infrequently ZPG nonsense.

Immigration is how the modern economy/political system pays its ever growing Ponzi scheme.

Realistically there is let the system collapse, which is obviously incredibly undesirable for people who rely on some form of stability to keep their jobs/wealth or keep finding new consumers to pay back the previous ones.

Honestly I don't see a way that things are allowed to be fixed, those who control things and have the power and influence are the ones who would lose the most if the system were reset and thus they will fight it and push it down the line to be another generation's problem. Hence why you see such a massive push-back against the idea of conservatism right now. The idea of stopping immigration, taking responsibility for ones decisions/actions, fiscal responsibility, etc is the basically the enemy of those in control because that's the opposite of what is keeping things propped up and them in power/wealth.

I think it's a tough call either way. Trump won the election on building the wall and if he fails to do this then the psychological wall heritage America builds will be across the northern border of the Southern states.

Open talk of secession was becoming a big deal prior to Trump's election and I don't doubt a future Democrat president would immediately go about spooking the cattle far more than Obama did.

Northern whites had been relatively polite about their distaste at having a few hundred Somalians dumped in their quiet little regions but if that starts happening again in 2 or 6 years time then we're literally going to see the return of the Ku Klux Klan. Trump did not spur the change in heritage America's disposition. He's merely riding it.

Look at Armstrongs economic analysis and his comparison to the multiple crashes this resembles.

Ultimately there is no escaping the crash and burn. Society never reforms until maintenance of status quo is impossible. The question is which way the tower falls, not one of if or when.

Immigration aside, America is just getting too damn expensive. Housing costs, food prices, gas, and pretty much anything else are out of control. Health care is insane and nothing is being done about it. As I've said before, on issues that actually matter to the average person Trump has been impotent.

Fuckin Bezos... I literally said out loud, ""You son of a bitch!", when I read following:

Quote:Amazon.com Inc. plans to make Nashville the home of a new East Coast operations hub, the company announced today.

Located in downtown Nashville, the hub will employ 5,000 workers within seven years, earning an average of $150,000 a year. At that headcount, Amazon will become downtown's largest private employer — two-and-a-half times the size of Bridgestone and HCA Healthcare Inc. (NYSE: HCA), which currently hold that designation.

In its Nov. 13 announcement, Amazon said it will invest $230 million and occupy 1 million square feet of office space.

While Nashville is already pretty blue voting wise, this sort of move is going to signal to all types of tech/libtard/coastal folk to move there. Nashville was already on its way in becoming the next Austin and this just accelerated the timeline big time.

Why is this in the Trump thread?

Tennessee as a whole is pro-Trump TODAY but maybe not forever.

Like how Texas and many former GOP strongholds are tilting purple/blue due to the tech/coastal/libtard invaders who want to escape the actions of their bad values (but not change their values), this move by Bezos is going to put Tennessee potentially in play for senate and house seats in 2022 and maybe even at the Presidential level in 2024 or 2028. It will probably be a slow burn on the voting trends like Texas but this event is still not a good thing nonetheless.

That said, I really wish these dipshits would stay in their own backyard and stop taking advantage of nice low tax affordable places that conservatives built and turning them into expensive liberal dumps. Too bad US states can't restrict movement of people between states based on party affiliation and duration (i.e. you're a lifelong democrat from California? Sorry, you can't move here).

I'm from Tennessee. This is def. great for jobs in TN obviously. If anything having more jobs come should encourage the state to continue the no state income tax and conservative politics.

The only thing that's gonna mess it up is if the demographics change substantially. It doesn't matter how successful the economy is if you bring a lot of socialists they will want to change it.

I'd much rather have the jobs go to a red state than many other places that they could be going.
