Because the media is complicit in covering up all Democrat crimes.
And because this particular string of crimes leads to one important target: Barrack Obama.
Are the American people psychologically ready to indict Obama? Not yet. But as President Trump continues to prove that Government can be beneficent, he will also slowly build the case that Obama and his cronies need to be arrested. OK, so the media is complicit in covering it all up, so the guilty democrats are just going to skate.
Great.

At this point, what difference does it make?

If it gets released and concerns turn out to be true, benefit. If it's released and it turns out the Congressmen were full of it, also a benefit. Fools shouldn't lie about stuff like that, but I don't think that they are.
It will be fantastic to get this memo released, but regardless, Trump will not veto FISA even if there were abuses since on balance, it can be used to catch terrorists. By extension, FISA benefits Israel. Anyone being honest with the facts and not paranoid about being called "anti Semitic" knows that AIPAC owns every president since the organization was founded. They will never allow FISA to get kneecapped if it puts Israel even slightly more at risk.

You already know this, but the "Democrats spied on Trump" story has two parts.
The first part is that the Democrats spied on Candidate Trump right up until he was elected. They did this by abusing FBI 702 About Queries. This first part was ended right around the time Trump was elected, when Admiral Mike Rogers discovered the plot, and told Trump - who put a stop to it.
The second part was explained by you here, "Some people abused our secret terrorism court warrant system just so that they could wiretap a presidential candidate and worked with an MI6 guy to forge the probable cause evidence. That's very illegal. That's not an opinion. This is a fucking crime."
In other words, the Steele Dossier was an instantaneous reaction to getting the FBI 702 About Queries stopped. They got caught illegally spying on the President, but rather than going away, they doubled down and spied on the President again.
What's their explanation? "We thought Trump was in bed with the Russians." No, you didn't. You lied about Trump being in bed with the Russians in order to spy on Trump.
Do they even have a good one?
And what will they do when Republicans like Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz realize, "If I wanted to run for President four years from now, after an assumed Hillary victory in 2016, what lies would they have made up about me?"
And what will they do when American conservatives realize, "President Trump is a big scary man with tons of money. What chance should I have had against a weaponized Intelligence Community that convicts people (in secret!) of crimes?"

Knowing him, he probably will sign it, but he is likely going to ask all heads of those departments for assurances that they will not abuse the system, then let them go away and do their jobs, with that gaze that if they fuck up again, their all fired.
Trump is too much of a "Work Boss" and much less of a politician to utilize tactics like the pocket veto.

"Wait and See!" and "Have Faith!" carry remarkably similar undertones to "Yes We Can!" and "This is not Who We Are!". Appeals to emotion backed by nothing.
Look at the best case scenario with this memo business, unlikely though best case scenarios are: let's say some senior Deep State officials and maybe even a Democratic politician or two get arrested and spend the rest of their lives in prison.
So what? These are puppets. They're literally employees of the real power structure, which consists of the media and financial elites. The media and financial elites are not going to go to jail over this. They'll be home free to continue their machinations as ever.
This isn't Watergate and the 1970's. Watergate happened because the media wanted to destroy a Republican President. Today, the media does not want to destroy the democratic party, so there won't be a Watergate, let alone anything "bigger than Watergate" regardless of what this Memo contains. Our corner of the internet and maybe even the Fox watchers will work themselves up into a frenzy but the rest of the normie population will not join in, because the media they consume will downplay everything.
Moreover, politics in 2018 is biblical. It's my tribe vs your tribe. The Coalition of the Fringes is not going to abandon the democratic party because of political abuse of the FISA court system. The notion that they would is hilarious. If you tried to sit a democrat voter down and explain to him how what happened is a terrible abuse of power, half would fall asleep out of boredom over your "gay talk" and the other half would want to high-five the culprits for doing their best to take down Drumpf.
Meanwhile, old white men continue to die, minorities continue to reach voting age, and immigrants cross our borders to the tune of 2 million a year. That's the real news, and it ain't good.

You mean exactly like you have with a couple tweets about Iran and a half dozen other non-events?

There is a segment of dudes who love to mock any and all expressions of positive - hell, even balanced - outlook, or excitement, gratitude etc.
Yet, any time there is the slightest opening to freak out about something perceived to be negative it is "omg the we are going to war with Iran tomorrow for sure now!" or "Trump is totally cucking on everything, my heels are off the train!" and every single time these freakouts have turned out unwarranted or over the top.
So before anyone starts throwing out mocking comments perhaps they should first consider their own record of pronouncements and emotional stability.
