Not only is Trump making contractors compete on design and price, he brought in fucking Special Forces to test them.
Incredible.
Any other politician would've given the contract to the friend of some lobbyist, overpaid for The Wall by a $100 billion, and it still would've been a half-finished piece of shit.

Is this the same Wall that Ann Coulter is constantly whingeing about not being built? The same Wall where contractors have been invited to submit designs, and which is even now being tested?

Up until this past year there was barely any proof the Deep State existed other than circumstantial evidence. Sure you can see the results of what they’ve done but you are full of shit if you say there has been a window into how they actually operate and do these things until now.
This memo is completely classified, when has this ever happened? This level of corruption? These things take time to unfold. If you had ‘t noticed the Clintons seem to have more bad news everyday and anyone with any semblence of self awareness wouldn’t throw a fit just because something isn’t happening fast enough to your liking. You and everyone else.
Futher, you aren’t even a US Citizen. I’ve been having to put up with these slimy Clintons, whom NEVER go away, since I was a kid.
You can’t possibly want this to unfold faster than myself and others here who dealt with watching your country transform from a jock in the locker room that fucks the prom queen to a screeching sjw feminist bitter bitch.

Part 1
Quote:A look at what House Republicans deem a fair DACA solution
Immigration policy analyst @David_J_Bier questions just how much the GOP is willing to compromise on DACA by picking apart their proposed revision.
The House GOP demands in exchange for DACA an endless list of extreme demands but the worst part is that their bill isn’t even a real solution for Dreamers. Its provisions show the GOP isn't willing to accept them as Americans, at most just criminals on parole. Here’s why:
![[Image: DUEV914X4AArr_c.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEV914X4AArr_c.jpg)
It offers DACA recipients a “nonimmigrant” status. Unlike “immigrants,” nonimmigrants are admitted for a temporary period for a specific purpose and without any pathway to citizenship. Right off the bat, we know House GOP isn’t thinking of Dreamers as a permanent part of America
![[Image: DUEWD-7W4AAckG4.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEWD-7W4AAckG4.jpg)
The bill protects the smallest possible group of Dreamers—only those who are currently in DACA at the time of enactment may even apply under the higher evidentiary standard. DACA was an act of prosecutorial discretion for a narrow subset of Dreamers who needed work authorization
It excludes Dreamers who have already lost DACA, were too young to apply for DACA (under 15), & everyone who was over the age of 31 in June 2012 but who entered as a child, and it excludes all who entered after 2007. Moderate Senate & House Rs’ bills require just 6 year residence
Note that the requirement to have a work permit means that the GOP would deport all of the Dreamers who were never old enough to apply for one, meaning that they'd deport *actual children*
![[Image: DUEWYxwXkAUGgw4.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEWYxwXkAUGgw4.jpg)
It also specifically singles out for exclusions all aliens who are in any kind of lawful status, even if they meet all other requirements—no applications from TPS recipients or children of H-1Bs or E-2s who can apply under other bills. Why discriminate against *legal* immigrants?
The age cap & residency requirement by themselves leave out nearly two thirds of all Dreamers eligible under other proposals, including plans by moderate Republicans. But that’s not good enough for the SAF Act: it adds many other requirements further cutting down the final third
![[Image: DUEWkDAXkAAZWXa.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEWkDAXkAAZWXa.jpg)
First, it requires “clear and convincing evidence” to obtain this status. This standard of proof is 2nd only to the beyond-a-reasonable-doubt standard in criminal trials—higher than the “preponderance of the evidence” standard to get million dollar judgments in civil cases
…and much, much higher than current standard for all other immigrants. This will make it as easy as possible for the administration to deny applicants getting status to begin with. This contrasts with the Dream Act, which simply specifies the type of evidence required
![[Image: DUEWzzoW0AEf6V1.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEWzzoW0AEf6V1.jpg)
Then, it excludes DACA recipients who have prior removals, failed to show for removal proceedings, or have removal orders. Why do the authors want to remove such people? The whole point is to keep Dreamers here, not follow through on past deportation threats
![[Image: DUEW3_MX4AAHo0Y.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEW3_MX4AAHo0Y.jpg)
Under this provision, DACA recipients would be ineligible if they ever claimed to be citizens at any time in their life to obtain any immigration benefit, even if they did so unknowingly as a minor. The only waiver possible for this is if both parents are, in fact, citizens
![[Image: DUEW9yZW0AADFVj.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEW9yZW0AADFVj.jpg)
DACA allowed veterans to apply even if they aren’t in school and didn’t graduate high school. This bill requires high school graduation or full-time school enrollment, meaning that DACA veterans can’t even meet the requirement by part time enrollment.
![[Image: DUEXICTXUAEfSHy.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXICTXUAEfSHy.jpg)
The bill also requires all recipients to maintain an income 125% of poverty line. Any Dreamers just starting out in the job market or with incomes below that can’t apply. DACA recipients who care for children or elderly parents can’t apply. Disabled DACA recipients can’t apply
This income requirement continues *forever* no matter what. It demonstrates that the House GOP considers DACA recipients nothing more than the workers, not Americans or people independent of the value of the labor—and only if they maintain a certain level of productivity.
![[Image: DUEXP-eW4AACN0U.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXP-eW4AACN0U.jpg)
This status would not come with the automatic right to travel outside the country either. Dreamers would have to pay even more fees to apply to DHS. And they couldn’t leave for more than 2 weeks at a time. No long vacations, study abroad, extended family emergencies.
![[Image: DUEXVhZWAAE2gor.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXVhZWAAE2gor.jpg)
Part 2
Quote:The bill requires Dreamers to repay to the US government any refunds that they receive from tax credits. I have never seen any provision like this in any bill.
![[Image: DUEXashXcAAM3ar.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXashXcAAM3ar.jpg)
On top of the normal processing fee, the GOP would require DACA recipients to pay $1,000 FINE in order to pay for Trump’s border wall. Under the bill, they only have 1 year to make this sum. Many DACA recipients will not be able to afford this amount, excluding even more
![[Image: DUEXpHyXkAAZto_.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXpHyXkAAZto_.jpg)
Its new procedures—eg in-person interview—will inevitably raise the cost of the regular fee as well. It will probably end up costing closer to $1,225 for a green card than the $485 for DACA. Then toss on another $1,000 fine, and the GOP bill likely raises the cost of DACA 560%
![[Image: DUEXtQkXkAIqknj.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEXtQkXkAIqknj.jpg)
But a green card recipient doesn’t need to reapply for adjustment of status ever again. Under this bill, DACA recipients would still have to reapply every three years for extensions, proving their eligibility over and over and spending thousands for the rest of the lives.
It’s true that the bill doesn’t *ban* them from applying green cards under family or employer categories in theory but it does everything else it can to stop them from getting them in practice.
![[Image: DUEX6IWXcAEbPyJ.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEX6IWXcAEbPyJ.jpg)
For example, if a Dreamer crossed the border, they can’t adjust to permanent residency even if they are eligible unless they leave & reenter lawfully. This provision states that if Dreamers do receive permission to leave, it won’t allow them to adjust after returning anyway
![[Image: DUEYAVfXcAEFmT0.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEYAVfXcAEFmT0.jpg)
Even if Dreamers did enter legally & overstay, the main way Dreamers could obtain permanent residency—other than marrying a citizen—would be to have a child and wait til they’re 21 when they can sponsor them for a green card. But the bill ends this category completely!
The only other option would be to have an employer sponsor them for a green card. But under the law, no nationality can get more than 7% of the employment green cards. Under this bill, the likely max would be 8,000/year. So for Mexican Dreamers, that’d be 50 years of waiting.
Throughout the time that they are waiting in line, Dreamers would have no right to leave their employer who sponsored them or quit their job. This is what #H1Bs already go through, and it’s awful. This bill could just add hundreds of thousands of more to this problem
![[Image: DUEYRLgXcAEXXf7.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEYRLgXcAEXXf7.jpg)
On top of all of this, the bill creates a new federal misdemeanor offense for violating any “terms or conditions” of admission for more than 90 days. For Dreamers, this includes being enrolled in school, an income of 125% of the poverty line, no more than two weeks vacation…
![[Image: DUEYaFCWkAECnRE.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEYaFCWkAECnRE.jpg)
Of course, the bill also criminalizes *anyone* unlawfully present for 90 days or more, turning all parents and family of Dreamers into criminals overnight. It’s very difficult to imagine that any Dreamer would trade their own legal status for their parents being in jail
![[Image: DUEYfnsW4AEqAmz.jpg]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUEYfnsW4AEqAmz.jpg)
Lastly, DHS has a YEAR to implement under GOP bill. Even if Congress passes this bill today, more than half of all current DACA recipients will have lost their work permits and their employers will have been forced to fire them. This fact destroys the lie that reform isn’t urgent
In summary, I would guess that no more than 10% of Dreamers would even be eligible for status under the GOP DACA bill. Probably half of all DACA recipients would be unable to apply
The status offered is worse than “second class”—it’s closer to being a criminal on parole, complete with fines, reporting, and constant background checks. This bill is not a real fix for Dreamers. Anyone who claims otherwise simply hasn’t read it or thinks the fix is deportation
All of these provisions show that unlike most Americans, House GOP refuses to think of Dreamers as what they are: Americans. Every provision is designed to deport as many as possible. Even as a standalone bill, this DACA “fix” wouldn’t have the slightest chance
If Dreamers become poor, take too long vacation, or leave school for 90 days for any reason, they would not only be deported—they would be criminals. First offense, up to 6 months in federal prison. A second offense, up to 2 years. THIS is the status the GOP is offering Dreamers
Edit. One name keeps popping up in my mind: Steven Miller. If he was involved with the creation of the above mentioned bill, then there is no doubt that it triggered and upset a lot of the Democrats and Dreamers.

As a legal immigrant whose parents waited in line for 10 years, worked their ass off and never took aid, I have some comments to make. I also served in the US military and my citizenship was expedited from my green card status due to my service. So veterans and servicemembers of the USA are close to my heart regardless of their country of birth.
I always despised those that jumped in front of the line illegally and then raped the taxpayer to get free stuff. I still do. I also despise those that come in legally and then fail to assimilate, creating their own enclave that ends up never succeeding as a community. I worked very hard to be American and lot of DACA was always a spit in the face of those like me.
That said, the question is if they deserve a chance. I as a human being personally believe they do BUT only if these people earn it. This bill honestly doesn't make it conducive to earn your way up and as a matter of fact disincentivizes it. For one there should be ABSOLUTELY NO restrictions to citizenship if they serve honorably in the military. Those that serve and put their lives on the line are better than a citizen that leeches resources just because they were born here.
I think every single one of them get evaluated on assimilation, productivity so far and a forthcoming evaluation to assess how good of a citizen they can be over a period of time. For example, why not encourage them to get into essential positions in IT instead of importing them? I hate to say this but there need to be more objective metrics of evaluation rather than penalties for not meeting an unreasonable standard, including financial position.
The tone of penalty rather than incentivizing does nothing except create more issues.
I'll comment further as I think through it and learn more.

honorable military service doesnt matter but getting on the forum and screaming muh America does?
I served with many guys of all colors and origins. Some were more dedicated than others but there were many "born somewhere else" that were better than "actual Americans" at their jobs and dedication to their units and commands. Vice versa too but you get my point.

What separates civilization from anarchy and barbarism is the rule of law. Those laws are worthless if they are not enforced universally. Immigration laws are foundational to a country because it's the fundamental property right of the country. If you can't control who comes into the country then you don't really have a country. Which begs the question? Why the hell are americans paying taxes and following laws that only apply to some people and not others?
At the end of the day Illegals broke into the house. Doesnt matter that they now do the dishes and babysit. They broke into the house and can never be considered part of the family. Only remedy is a swift removal. Otherwise it's all meaningless. As someone who came legally that's my view.

^Yeah, I don't disagree as someone who immigrated and busted his ass to become a productive citizen on laws and pays taxes.
What I disagree with is the glorious shitbirding on honorably discharged veterans that earned their right to be citizens by putting their lives on the line. By the way all citizens pay taxes not only the citizens that were born here. Green card holders pay taxes too.

I served with many guys of all colors and origins. Some were more dedicated than others but there were many "born somewhere else" that were better than "actual Americans" at their jobs and dedication to their units and commands. Vice versa too but you get my point.
Some of the biggest degenerates I have known were born here and take more than they contribute.
Place of birth is a minor detail.
I think the general sentiment is that non whites can't be ideologically, racially, or culturally American no matter what the situation and should all be deported en masse.
I'm not casting value judgement on that sentiment but just pointing it out as it's oft repeated in these ideological debates.
When people draw hard line ideological line in the sand like this and take it into the mainstream that's when things will get real interesting indeed.
I give it a decade.

Green card holders are LEGAL residents. They aren't citizens. They asked permission to come into the house and stayed. DACA are illegals. There is a difference. I will never disrespect immigrants and for me immigration is foundational to this country. What is unacceptable is Illegal immigration. We have those laws for a reason.

If there were any immigrants that voted for smaller government as a group I would welcome them, this has never happened however. All immigrant groups so far have chosen to be ingrates and vote for the destruction of their host nation while talking about how much better they are than the degenerate natives.

Hey i'm not arguing pro or con either way these days since i'm not really convinced either way it's going to go down in the way some people are proposing.
I'm actually somewhat amused by the whole thing.
If people want to pursue the ideological route of deporting all non whites from America yeah sure..they can feel free to pursue that goal.

I do understand that is the debate. However, I'm not sure if I agree that non-whites can't be culturally American. Some brown dudes and black dudes are more American than I have ever seen. American culture has been transformed by many groups. What you are talking about is white American culture, which although similar transformed from many white cultures before hand.
I'm not making a value judgement either. I mean heck, my mannerisms and behavior are very white American. So are the other brown guys I grew up with.
I'm just surprised we are just going that close to straight up racism because if racial lines are the case, black people are excluded as well.
That all said, I'll make this point again. Many of us here regardless of race, white or not, have more in common than not. Does this mean, we non-white forum members, who support the fight against liberal degeneracy, get relegated to be inconsequential or irrelevant?
Will be interesting indeed.
