If he goes after her for perceived health issues, the media will just frame him as a bully who is picking on a sick, old woman.

That forces the media to admit that she's old and sick.

He can't go full blast on it, but he should absolutely dust off an old LKS and highlight how low energy she is and how unenthusiastic her support is, how she doesn't have the energy to drive her own base (works as a double whammy because it highlights her lack of social proof).

Don't go after it directly, but get his team to do it an highlight it whenever possible. Absolutely try to get her to cough or space out during the debates.

This week was very interesting. I've been saying since the conventions that the race has basically become "the crook vs. the lunatic." In the context of presidential politics the crook will beat the lunatic every time, and that's what we've been seeing.

So naturally, the thing that needed to happen for Trump to win was at least one, but preferably both of the following:

1. Make Hillary something worse than a lunatic.
2. Trump needs to make himself seem like he is definitively, defiantly not a lunatic.

Trump's side worked on both of those things this week, and the gap has narrowed somewhat. He's still behind but those new strategies emerged. He's no longer boxed in, and that's important for him. At the same time Trump was finally talking about bringing everyone together as Americans, visibly and unambiguously, Hillary was losing energy and the questions about her health hit very hard despite the media trying to cover it up.

Few things are scarier than a lunatic with nukes, but the thought of a crook with dementia handling them is arguably one of them.

Trump is still behind, but he's begun the work he needs to do.

If Hillary's side loses the "Trump is a lunatic" fear card, he's running unopposed. With it, they're likely to win. Everything depends on it.

This is pretty interesting video below. This guy (Jonathan Haidt) is like an academic Scott Adams (he's a professor at NYU).

He talks about how and why the US (and Europe) has become more polarized than ever (even more polarized than after the civil war). Then he talks about the type of unifying language that helps persuade polarized people, and that the DNC used those techniques in their convention quite effectively to turn off the polarization button (see 41:00 - 43:00 mark).

Maybe the Trump campaign saw this video, or some of the campaign new hires are familiar with this research, because some of the Charlotte speech seems to be applying these techniques.

EDIT: And the girl in the top right, but less enthusiastically.

I don't agree. I'm able to talk to feminists and sjws reasonably. You can speak in a thought provoking manner and be polite and at the end of the hour you have most of them head nodding. I think Trump's new strategy will give bring him a lot of new people who didn't like him because he's "mean". He certainly won't lose the following he has now if he lightenes up a bit. They are too loyal. The middle ground cucks and women need to come over to our side in order to beat Hillary. Show some compassion like he did for the Khan family after rightfully hitting back and people will respect it. This goes the same in real life. Don't be a bitch or back down from your beliefs. Be tough but compassionate and you can get everyone on your side.

Yet another HIGH ENERGY speech from Trump, and it comes merely hours after helping distribute food and supplies at ground zero of a natural disaster.

Meanwhile, Hillary is sleeping somewhere and Obama is on vacation.

There's so much enthusiasm surrounding the Trump campaign, I just can't for the life of me envision a Clinton victory in November given the optics of these rallies. She either rigs it or loses miserably.

DON'T WE HAVE THE BEST RALLIES, FOLKS?

This direct appeal to black voters is why I've thought for months that Trump was the GOP's last chance at remaining demographically viable.

He is a unique enough figure to completely change the electoral map.

This is not some staged "rally" BS, or walking a few feet from the curb to Joe Biden's house (clutching a metal railing the entire time). Surveying flood damage requires all of the following, at least:

1. walking around
2. stepping over obstacles that are possibly several inches high
3. not slipping and falling on wet pavement (possibly bursting your colostomy bag)
4. being subjected to bright sunshine
5. helping to unload trucks with supplies, etc.

She physically cannot do any of that shit!

I browse another forum which is a SJW liberal echo chamber. Trump bashing 24/7.

After Trump's recent speeches, they're getting nervous. Some of them are starting to think Trump has a chance.

The funny thing is, they just keep saying - "Calm down everyone, the only way Trump can win this thing is if he can somehow get out of the debates." lol Oh boy, are they in for a surprise...

I first heard about Jonathan Haidt's brilliant talk through this 32 minutes video - "Jonathan Haidt on Coddling U. vs. Strengthening U.". I highly recommend it when you get a chance to check it out.

You guys didn't know Haidt's classic book? Hoo boy are you in for a good ride when you read it. Haidt was a bonafide true liberal, not exactly in the SJW sense but more of the classic liberal sense. Also a psychology professor who set out over the years to find ways of how to help the Democrats win elections and appeal to voters better. One of those ways he analyzed is how morals are made and why Republicans and Democrats don't understand each other.

tl;dr Libs care most about Care and Fairness (2 morals) while conservatives care about all 6 values to a lesser, more equal extent, and Authority, Loyalty, Sanctity a bit more (6 morals). Basically, conservatives are more balanced out and can understand and appreciate each moral value, whereas liberals literally CAN NOT even comprehend why conservatives care about authority, loyalty or sanctity.

And this conclusion was coming out of a Haidt, a liberal who wanted to help his fellow liberals be able to easier appeal to people. He still came out of writing this book a liberal who was grumpy and disappointed in his fellow liberals for being so narrowminded. I think I heard that he got more shitlordy in recent years

There's actually been a talking point that Trump is shitting himself about the debates and might try to weasel out of them. The evidence being that 6 months ago after wiping out the other GOP candidates in 8 debates he then cancelled the 9th one.

I remember that. They had 8 freaking debates. I think Donald was upset that the network hosting the debate was making a ton of money from advertisers from people tuning in to see him, and he wasn't getting any of it. That doesn't really strike me as being afraid of debates, or bad at debates, he is butt hurt about generating money for a company other than his, and not getting compensated for it.

Yep, the election is over. Hillary has won.

Trump's "softening" on immigration was his fatal mistake. That was his issue and he's lost it. It was hard to justify voting for him because of his intelligence (clearly he doesn't understand many of the major issues), his business acumen (he really isn't that great of a businessman), his honesty (e.g. promising to release his tax returns and then backing away, his charitable donations that really weren't) or his charisma...

No, the reason why you would have voted for Trump was that he was the last, best hope for stopping the wholesale invasion of our country. And apparently, he doesn't want to do that because it would be "hard."

He really is a fucking idiot.

I watched Hannity live when he said that, my immediate thought was that is now unequivocally the end of the U.S. Trump provided hope and a slim chance of recovery, but now he wants to be 'nice' to illegals so that's game over.

This is the first time I really thought Trump was more interested in getting elected than doing what will help Americans.

Even if you contend he has to tell white lies to get more to vote for him, that won't end in his first term. He'll 'soften' his stance to justify winning a 2nd term then the original goal will never get accomplished anyways.
