Trump is still a far better choice than Hillary, but I'm saying either way it will be permanent democrat Marxist state after the next 8 years. The demographics will want their communism. Only a hard right wing 8 years from Trump could possibly turn it around, he's already hinting at some form of amnesty with that 'softening' idea.

Trump's "softening" on immigration was his fatal mistake. That was his issue and he's lost it. It was hard to justify voting for him because of his intelligence (clearly he doesn't understand many of the major issues), his business acumen (he really isn't that great of a businessman), his honesty (e.g. promising to release his tax returns and then backing away, his charitable donations that really weren't) or his charisma...

No, the reason why you would have voted for Trump was that he was the last, best hope for stopping the wholesale invasion of our country. And apparently, he doesn't want to do that because it would be "hard."

He really is a fucking idiot.

Succession or civil war will happen before the ENTIRE country is overrun by leftist degeneracy.

Relax, we need to take the first step to right the ship, and that's electing Trump.

I'm under 250 so I shouldn't be posting here at all, but I have to say I can't be the only one surprised at how pathetic and sackless some people are acting on this thread. No one willing to turn on Trump so quickly has any right to celebrate when he wins

Apparently Trump is going to appear on Infowars/Alex Jones tomorrow so that's the reason why Hillary mentioned Jones.

There's an awful lot of wild extrapolation going on about The Softening. How about we wait to see some actual formal policy positions, instead of off the cuff town hall remarks?

Look, while I think all illegals should get booted the fuck out, I've never once imagined that Americans in general would have the grit for that. I'd say at least half of the population has absolutely no experience with illegals, and Americans almost never face any real hard choices anymore, so people aren't used to it. So finding out that many of Trump's supporters don't want all of them summarily removed from the country is not shocking at all. It's going to take time to bring people around, to expose them to the real problems.

I also never thought Trump was going to be the sole author of the magical transformation of America. He's a good first step, and if things go well under Trump people will continue to support his ideas, and we can push more to the right in the future. The pendulum is just starting to swing back right. It took a century to get us here; who seriously thinks we can fix 100+ years worth of problems in two terms with a cucked congress? This is the kind of shit that will take decades to fix.

People on the right have this strange idea that you can just win the politics game and stop fighting after that. People on the left know the game never ends. This is why the left has won for so long, why they have subverted our culture so thoroughly. The right will win an election and go take a break, while the left regroups and cuts the right off at the knees the next month. When the left wins an election, the right often takes a goddamn break anyway thinking there's nothing they can do until the next election cycle. The right fundamentally does not understand the game, and that's why we lose.

The fight never stops, guys. It was never going to be magical sunshine happiness if only we got Trump into the White House. If Hillary wins, the fight is going to drag on. If Trump wins, the fight is going to drag on anyway. Best get used to that idea now.

This election has us standing on a precipice. If the right wins, we can back away from it and keep trying to wrest control of our nation away from the left peacefully. If the left wins, we hop off the cliff by handing them control of the nation through the supreme court and the ability to change the voting demographic permanently. The game will get much scarier and more dangerous then, and if that happens let's just say I don't expect to die from old age. But even if we lose, it isn't game over. So for God's sake, sack up.

Yes, well... I'm still going to vote for him.... But, man, I'm fucking pissed. I feel like he's taking us for granted....

Fuck, what do I mean "I feel" - he IS taking us for granted...

Team Trump needs to show Hitlery! hugging KKK member Senator Robert Byrd.

The Democrat party created the KKK. This fact needs to be repeated 24/7.

I don't think Trumps immigration shift will cost him votes. People are so focused on Hillary and her vile behavior, past and present, that they will still come out in droves on election day.

Phuck since when did the blue pilled blue balled metrosexual her loving sackless manginas invade the Trump thread?

Either bitch and moan in the HRC thread or take some positive action and read the Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli... most focused and concise manual for gaining and maintaining power ... can be read in one evening - read it and report back all the ways Trump is masterfully employing this guide of ancient wisdom and power while it helps buck you up in the process.

Words and rhetoric are full of deception and it is often necessary to decieve your enemies away from your true intent and get them to focus in one area leaving their flanks weak showing you where to focus your attack for victory.

All the sound and fury from the media belies the desperate panic in the HRC and DNC while Trump plays multi dimensional chess moving pieces at will towards a landslide megavote victory... NYT estimated 73.25 million votes for Trump. Men vote and millenial whiners don't.

This has been spectacular lately. You can feel all the Alt-Right people finally stopping the egos of I'm not really part of this or that and fighting over petty differences.

They are finally all working together and realizing you have to in order to win.

Today was like the Power Ranger Zords coming together to make the Super Zord.

It is almost more sweet that Trump acts innocently ignorant about his secret weapon that is doing all his damage for him.

Has Trump said anything during this 'softening' that differs from his original Immigration outline on his website?

To my reading he hasn't.

What he has been walking back, is this idea that ICE was going to turn into some sort of movie-like ninja black ops deportation machine that was going to be kicking down doors around the clock. At least explicitly.

Implicitly though, he keeps saying that he wants to 'follow the law.' On Hannity he must have repeated that phrase a thousand times. What following the law means is that ICE kicks illegals out. And his plan calls for tripling the number of ICE agents.

Implementing the wall, E-Verify, heavy penalties for businesses hiring illegals, deporting criminals, stopping benefits like tax refunds and welfare, ending birthright citizenship, beefing up border patrol etc is going to go a long, long way. The most realistic way illegal immigration gets fixed is through squeezing them out through actually implementing the laws and imposing harsh punishments for not following them, aka the attrition method.

That's essentially what Trump's plan has called for since day one, and he hasn't deviated from it. This idea of flip flopping is more media BS, plain and simple.

Yes, your post is 100% on target. And he just affirmed this position again. Its a shame how easy people in our "red pilled" camp are demoralized by obvious MSM spin on the issue and can't see through this lie. They are clearly trying to undermine his base of support and suppress turnout.

Trump campaign manager is aware of the secret Trump support, people afraid to openly support Trump.

Trump campaign manager says The Donald is actually WINNING as she insists 'undercover' voters will turn up in droves to elect him (and some pollsters say she might be right!)
Quote: Donald Trump's campaign manager says there's a hidden reservoir of Trump supporters who only show their preferences anonymously

One study from the GOP primaries showed Trump got a six-point 'bump' when people didn't have to tell another human being how they would vote

Even one prominent Democratic pollster frets about a 'Trump Effect' similar to the 1982 'Bradley Effect' election in California

In that year a black mayor led polls in the governor's race but lost, likely because white voters didn't want to tell pollsters that they opposed him

I like the use of the phrase "undercover Trump voter".

Precisely my thoughts on why the libertarian vote should go for Trump. Here's a noteworthy passage.

Quote:All people are not equal. In fact, two individuals who are in every socially discernible way the same, have an infinite number of differences between them. When those people have evolved for thousands of years in radically different environments, those people will have even greater differences between them. Such differences will include but not be limited to intelligence, propensity for violence, and propensity for cooperation.

Any libertarian with the slightest bit of observational skills has to have noticed that we’re mostly a movement of white males. They would also notice that there is no libertarian movement to speak of outside of cultures descendant from Europeans. This is not a weakness of libertarianism, as our leftist infiltrators attempt to insist. It is rather a very obvious indicator that white males have a greater natural inclination toward market cooperation than other peoples. To insist otherwise is nothing more than the denial of human nature, it is biological and cultural Marxism.

Leftists know this, and since they hate freedom, they hate white males. They will thus do everything in their power to destroy us before we manage to make any headway in advancing our ideas. This includes mass subsidized immigration from third world countries.

While our ideal society would have no government and thus no arbitrary geopolitical borders enforced by State mercenaries, the notion that there would be free and unrestricted travel the world over in the absence of the State is a remarkably ridiculous left wing idea. Borders are the whole point of freedom, as borders are demarcations of property rights.

Public roadways and common spaces are government programs. They are subsidized by taxes and inflation, and they would not exist in the absence of the State. These things would be privately owned and controlled. In many if not all circumstances they would be controlled with greater restriction than those imposed by the State – just as you do not allow “free speech” demonstrations inside your home by people who hate you. Any “libertarian” argument for open immigration simply ignores this reality by insisting that anybody should be able to cross government geopolitical boundaries with no restriction whatsoever. The assertion there is that in the absence of the State, highly desirable resources would simply remain unowned in perpetuity and that all peoples from all over the world could exploit them in any way they saw fit without any conflict ever arising. It is pure nonsense.

Trump’s proposals for stricter immigration controls thusly accomplish two decidedly libertarian goals.

1- Making State immigration policy more closely resemble that which a free market would create.

2-Saving libertarianism’s core demographic from extinction

There is legitimate criticism amongst libertarians and conservatives that Donald Trump is not a slash and burn antigovernment right winger or constitutionalist. He doesn’t want to abolish social security, the welfare state, medicare or medicaid. He doesn’t want to reduce the size of the military, though he is far more hesitant to use it than many would give him credit for.

With economics being the primary complaint amongst libertarians about the left, you might thus find yourself asking what he would do to defeat liberalism, and I respond as follows.

The all too common libertarian idea that we are conservative on economic issues and liberal on social issues is a fallacy which has sadly gained entirely too much traction. We are not liberal on social issues, we just want to let the market sort out the positives and negatives of human interaction. Drug use, promiscuity, feminism, homosexuality, racial and cultural diversity are all social negatives which would, and for many centuries were, discouraged by the market.

Promoting these behaviors as virtuous is a consequence of liberal economic policies and general societal degradation brought upon us by said policies. We are not freeing ourselves by smoking marijuana and letting other guys fuck our girlfriends, we are in fact responding to the stimuli of our enslavement, and helping to further perpetuate it.

When leftists scream “racist” or “sexist” or “homophobe” at their opponents, it doesn’t make a spec of difference whether or not they are explicitly endorsing the State taking action against the people they hurl these epithets at. They are repeating government propaganda, the aim of which is to outlaw the discrimination which has always served as a market deterrent to degenerate behavior and cultural decline.

They want unchecked debauchery, irresponsibility, and reality detachment, because this makes for a more easily ruled civilization. If Bruce Jenner can become a woman, or Rachel Dolezal can become black, then the concept that human beings have a nature is undermined. Popular opinion and government decrees can take the place of obvious truths, and once one is willing to accept that sort of thought process, communism is not far off. After all, if human beings have no nature, then there are no economic laws aside from those set by the State.

To everyone who thinks Trump is selling out, would you rather he only say shit you agree with and go the way of Ron Paul? It's an election and he's already got your vote. Now he's winning votes in the middle.

Yeah, but that analysis though.

Peña Nieto will do what is in his best interest: makes himself look good, most likely, at Donald's expense.

Trump will do what is in his best interest, if necessary, at Pena Nieto's expense.

Pena Nieto has the home court advantage.

On top of that, the forces of Media setups(Univision, CNN, MSNBC, etc & Mexican media), Ambush Journalism, Gotcha Journalism salivating to memorialize Trump in a negative way possible on this trip. This is what worries me.

Trump going over to Mexico is like Trump having a televised engagement with Black Lives Matter. They are both hostile to him.
