I think even a majority of Republican voters would support a ban on firearms purchases for those on the terrorist watch list. The devil is in the details... How you get on/off the list.

Correct.

I support such a ban, but with one caveat.

There needs to be some kind of due process before your name gets placed on those watchlists. It can't be arbitrary. An arbitrary deprivation of your rights was what the revolution was fought over.

It's a bad idea and the NRA is never going to go for it. Here's why: it opens a huge legal door that shouldn't be opened, and the resultant legal situation for firearms ownership would be much weaker as a result. It also puts the rest of our foundational 'innocent until proven guilty' system in jeopardy. It' sets a terribly bad precedent in that regard.

Ok, so now you can be denied firearms ownership even though you are an innocent party with no criminal record. Due process you say. Okay, no problem. Until next year when I remove that due process. How can I do that? Why not? You don't have any constitutional right to due process to stop restriction of your firearms ownership for being on a watch list. Where In the constitution does it say that you get due process for something that is already legally extra-judicial, for all intensive purposes (restricting the rights of an innocent person)? We already passed the law that limits your primary constitutional right to firearms ownership. Everything else is continuously negotiable. And it will be.

Okay, now I'm going to determine that your entire demographic is a potential threat. Now none of you can own firearms. Now I'm going to encourage your enemies to buy firearms "for their protection".

It's a bad idea. The worst that Trump has. I have a feeling he's saying it to appease the middle and isn't serious. At least I hope so. Besides, it isn't legally or otherwise feasible. If he pushes too hard, he'll lose more voters than he gains. Even if it means that they merely stay home or vote for a third party candidate out of spite. The gun contingent is that dedicated, for better or worse. And they know their rights and how this proposed action could eventually affect them.

Don't be worn down by terrorist actions and political pressure to agree to give up your rights piece by piece. Trump nation has no firearms abuse issues. Instead, let's focus on getting rid of the terrorists.

Not on a federal level. The Lautenberg Act only covers misdemeanor convictions of domestic violence. On a state level this varies somewhat.

I am LOVING how Trump is now clearly saying "When I talk about making America great, I mean for everybody". It delineates his message as one of unification, which is much needed considering the 24/7 propaganda about how he is "like totally a racist/sexist/bigot/Islamophobe". People vote emotionally, not rationally, and often times people do not even care to look at his policy positions before dismissing him. If he sticks to this line, I'm sure a lot of disillusioned minorities and Sanders supporters will begin to open up to him.

Trump news network may be coming?

We're prescient again.

I was thinking, what way can Trump finally fuck shit up more for the News media? if this is true the only thing he needs to do is hire the right people to run it, Roosh, Milo, Stefan Molyneux, Bill Whittle, Lauren Southern Gavin McInnes, Mike Cernovich etc, he does not need to give them direction of what to do, just continue doing what they the the way they do it.

Call it "The Shitlord Network".

His statement on the AFL-CIO endorsement.
Quote:DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT ON AFL-CIO ENDORSEMENT OF HILLARY CLINTON

Sadly with this endorsement of Hillary Clinton - who is totally owned by Wall Street - the leadership of the AFL-CIO has made clear that it no longer represents American workers. Instead they have become part of the rigged system in Washington, D.C. that benefits only the insiders.

I believe their members will be voting for me in much larger numbers than for her.

Hillary Clinton and her husband have made hundreds of millions of dollars doing favors and selling access to Wall Street, special interests and oppressive foreign regimes. As Bernie Sanders said, “Why, over her political career, has Wall Street been the major campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton?” They own Hillary Clinton and she will do whatever they tell her to.

Bernie Sanders is also 100% correct when he says that Hillary Clinton “vote[d] for virtually every trade agreement that has cost the workers of this country millions of jobs.” Hillary supported NAFTA and she supported the trade deal with China, Vietnam, South Korea – and if elected will implement the TPP she loves so much – guaranteed.

While Secretary of State,'Hillary Clinton racked up a $1 trillion trade deficit with China – all while China was funneling a small fortune to Hillary via speaking fees paid to Bill.

On immigration, Hillary Clinton sides with Wall Street too. Bernie Sanders correctly warned that open borders “would substantially lower wages in this country,” and yet Hillary has put forward a plan that would completely open America’s borders in her first 100 days in office.

On energy, Hillary Clinton wants to shut down the coal mines, block the Keystone pipeline, and destroy millions of good union jobs through executive action.

Her massive proposed increase in taxes and regulations will also send millions of jobs overseas.

Hillary Clinton will economically destroy poor communities, African-American and Hispanic workers on trade, immigration, crime, energy, taxes, regulation and everything else.

Finally, union workers have long believed in having an open and free society. Yet Hillary takes money from regimes that support the murder of gays and the enslavement of women while pushing to bring people into America who want to do the exact same thing to our people. I only want to bring people into our country who will love and support everyone.

Hillary Clinton is the enemy of working people and is the best friend Wall Street ever had. I will fight harder for American workers than anyone ever has, and I will fight for their right to elect leaders who will do the same. I will be a president for ALL Americans.

I hope Sanders stay in the race as long as possible, the longer he stay the tired Hillary gets, she is going to be exhausted for the general election.

Rumors say he my run 3thr party, the Green party, Sanders is malicious enough to do it so he can split the Democrat vote and ensure Hillary does not win, regardless what he says about Trump, he hates Hillary and Debbie Schultz way more.

NRA has always being opposed to laws removing gun license and gun possession of people for domestic violence accusation and restriction, orders, this is because it creates a default list of gun registration, this is why NRA gets all the "NRA hates women" bs, NRA does not say but they are very aware women are too damn evil, there are many cases of ex girlfriends and ex wives getting restriction orders and claiming domestic violence so the guns can be taken away.

The only time republicans seems to fight like they should is when NRA and gun rights groups, Obama knows guns would be the ultimate goal of his legacy, he wanted Obamacare and go it, but even when he exploited Sandy Hook tragedy as much as he could and he still loses.

Obama hates Hillary and Hillary hates him but they share the same Marxist socialists destructive ideology, Obama knows Hillary is the only one that is going to continue his job, Trump already said he will remove every executive law passed by Obama, he does not need congress approval for that, Obama does not want to see his legacy fall, Hillary is his only change of finally demolishing the 2 A.

While the youth is seldom wise, intelligence indeed helps in assessing reality. Blacks should all vote for Trump, because a halt to illegal immigration would help them first long before all other nationalities. It would even aid legal Mexican and South American immigrants, but I fear that nothing will be enough.

Excellent points. But besides race and any other factors here, why is an adult yelling at decent kids this way?

It's one thing to bark at kids if they're pissing on your lawn or stealing your bike, but these are clearly "nice" kids who just want to be involved in the political process. The fact that an adult (of any race) would come out verbally swinging like this, I think, shows some sort of a breakdown in our culture.

The reason I think race is a non-factor here is because white feminists also show a similar lack of civility -- screaming at people regardless of circumstance.

Years ago, people like this were diagnosed as being crazy or hysterical. Perhaps we'll see the day this type of behavior is once again declared a mental illness.

See the doctrine of "substantive due process of law."

These entire terror watchlists could easily be argued to be unconstitutional because they "deprive a person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law."

And that's what we're talking about here.

That "Japanese" videos is made in america by Mike Diva.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Diva

from the wiki:

"In June 2016, Diva's video Japanese Donald Trump Commercialトランプ2016 gained international attention, with some 8 million views on Facebook and almost 300,000 views on YouTube in its first 24 hours. The video, which masquerades as a Japanese commercial that seemingly promotes the presumed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, was described by Slate as "a dizzying, sorbet-hued phantasmagoria that gestures toward the coming end times."[15]

Diva's intent was to "seem obnoxiously pro-Trump, but in a style that directly conflicts with anything he or his supporters would want to be associated with" using sufficient production values to appear as if it were made by a Japanese advertising agency. Indeed, many early comments from YouTube and elsewhere mistook the video for a genuine ad, despite Trump's being (briefly) depicted as giving a Nazi salute amid swastikas and ultimately transforming into an earth-destroying robot. The video was shot over a month and a half with virtually no budget and stars the cosplayer and wig stylist known as Sushi Monster."

This guy should get snapped up by a Hollywood production studio if it's true that he made that video by himself in a month and a half with no budget. Impressive skills regardless of his views on Trump.

------

I'm starting to believe that Trump won't win this election. All the media has to do is keep throwing out bogus "polls" that show him getting slaughtered and it'll influence millions of people, not to mention the traitorous right that hammers him every chance they get. I saw some faggot on MSNBC yesterday talking about how the GOP elite are still trying to figure out a way to steal this nomination from Trump and if he get's it, they'll make sure he doesn't win.

I hope i'm wrong and he wins in November, but I don't want people to get their hopes up and be demoralized if he loses. Trump's going up against a power structure much bigger than people realize, and the general public's too fucking stupid to see what's going on.

The dirtiest tricks haven't even been played yet. I'll bet Clinton won't even debate Trump and claim she needs to be by Bill's side because of his health issues. What can he do, attack a dying old man?

Trump needs to hire some people that think outside the box for his campaign. He won't win with Twitter wars and doing the same rallies everyday. He needs to do things that are completely out of left field such as:

- Visiting inner city places like Chicago and Baltimore to show the devastation that has continued under Obama.

- Walk through former industrial towns like Detroit, and parts of Ohio and Western PA to show what a shitty hand these places were dealt with NAFTA.

- Go to China and walk through their vast manufacturing plants which they've built directly at the expense of US manufacturing.

- Visit VA hospitals and talk to vets about the terrible service they're being provided.

- Go to Libya and detail the shitshow which is directly Obama and Hillary's problem.

- Explain to people how Obama's so called economic recovery was actually the biggest transfer of wealth to the 1% in the history of this nation and that the FED is directly manipulating the economy.

- He should bring people like Juanita Broderick out on stage with him in his televised press conference talking about Hillary's corruption. Have her talk about how Bill raped her and let millions of people witness this confession on live tv.

Trump needs to work miracles if he's going to win this thing, and I'm not sure it'll be possible. I'm gonna get my ducks in a row over the next 4 1/2 months and figure a way out of this country if Clinton wins. Her presidency will be far worse than Obama's, far worse.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Donald Trump is not just up against Hillary Clinton. He is up against a Clinton MACHINE that has been operating above the law for decades, the bought and sold dinosaur media, the political establishment on both sides, foreign leaders, the deep state globalist power-broker elites, feminazis, SJWs, special interests and corporate lobbyists.

But at the end of the day - there's something in my gut telling me he is going to overcome the odds and this story will end the same way David vs Goliath did, with the underdog standing tall over the fallen monster.

I do believe Donald J. Trump has the support it takes on the grassroots level to defeat the Clinton dynasty.

People here are also too concerned about the popular vote.

But popular vote doesn't decide Presidents, and never have.

The land is what decides the President. Electoral votes are distributed according to territory more than population. Smaller states are disproportionately powerful and have far more sway over the election, which is why Republicans generally have the advantage. Rural voters are overwhelmingly Republican.

Trump is leading in Pennsylvania, and it's likely he takes Michigan, plus the normal bevvy of Republican states and he wins. He could still lose the popular vote by 5%, and it's not going to matter.
Laner · 2016-06-17 12:06:00 · #34354
Also, this is no ordinary election.

I think we will see the highest voter turnout in decades. Even Canadians are battling it out in bars and dinner tables all across the continent.

People are seeing- many for the first time- just how easy it is to be collectively lied to. The media writes one thing, and within minutes the internet proves its false. The truth is systematically buried.

Under a normal election, sure, it would seem Trump has very little chance to win. But come election day, this will be proven wrong.
