Yes there are definitely exceptions to the aggressive dancefloor game. Anyone who's met me knows that I'd rather chat up a chick before rubbing uglies on the dance floor.

When I'm in a club there's an RSD Tyler or Todd (only guys I like) video I think about where they talk about dancefloor game. I can't remember what video but the gist is that when a girl is on a club, there's so much going on, you have to interrupt her mood or come in with higher energy than her. Put yourself in her shoes, if she's vibing on the dancefloor, enjoying her cranberry vodka with a splash of IG likes, trying not to spill off her heels, and you come up and ask her "what drinks are good at this bar?!?!" she's gonna laugh and turn away (believe me). Her energy and excitement are high, so you have to beat that or interrupt it.

The other way is to catch them off the dancefloor, which I love, and you said you do here:

I do this a *ton*. There's a nightclub where I'm at now that has an outdoor patio literally right next to the dancefloor, blocked off with plastic garage doors. It's quiet AF and girls go outside when they need to cool off. I post up, look at the stars, listen to the DJ, talk with the bouncers, and wait for prey to enter my net..

There's tons of places like this. The area by the bathroom might be quiet. Outside in the line. At the bar itself, or just somewhere far from the DJ's. Find a way to make the club work for you.

So which one is it...do young guys not know group game because we are ignorant, or because it's become unnecessary as aggressive game dominates the club? Chicken or the egg?

I agree that a club is very loud. What I say is irrelevant in there cos the music is blaring. Maybe game happens outside the club or if you can get her to a more quiet area. Maybe you got dance game. But I can't say nothing decent unless it's a bar/lounge.

I pulled a lizard last year from a club. It wasn't same night pull. The club has a roof area where you can go up and look down on the club district and so forth. Some lizards and guys go there to relax and get away from the bustle in the club. I saw her with her friends and hit her with the 'I'm new to town' gist. I got her.

Point being, I don't see how to crack club game when the club is loud. If it's a group, you got to bend down (or lean up) and yowl in the ear of every lizard in the group. But I could be wrong.

For me there's 3 options in terms of chicks(many more if you want to make friends with the staff).

1. Dance and attract a lot of attention. Apparently my dancing is pretty damned good or at the very least picturesque. I get some girls caught up in it and strange things happen. Literally picked up a chick a few times and carried them off to the patio to flirt a few times(princess carry and all with her hands around my neck). Being a good dancer by American standards isn't hard. If anything the high fives make it worth it. Personally I think I'm shit, but it works.

2. Work the tables and open groups. I explained that bit earlier. Though I should add in the corollary that these guys are all either monied folks or people that bank of the status of pretending to have a lot of money. So interesting and exotic is what they look for. Generally it's also not as loud near the tables. They're situated so just enough music is there for the girls to slut it up a bit and dance around the table while the guys shoot the shit. Tables are inherently a social affair so it's more of a squeezing yourself into that premade mold. If anything it's kind of like an interview, because every guy thinks you're coming up to take part in something they shelled out a fair amount of money for. So blow them out of the water.

3. As you said work the patio or roof top. I'm chain smoker on a night out so it isn't hard building up rapport. Smoker culture is very conversational friendly. It's just a thing to do. When I'm not in the mood though, it works on the same calm level as day game. A bit more aggressive, but nonetheless not scaring the cat. Girls are usually out on the patio to kickback and relax. Generally not in the mood to deal with another overly aggressive flirt.......unless you can make that aggressiveness work in your favor. It's all a multi-sided affair. Game is like a tailored suit and the kind that works best depends on the guy with a few general guidelines.

I had online dating last year with Tinder and POF and banged a few girls on both. Even had a couple chicks pay for suits for me but after a while I deleted it. Sick and tired of the pretty girls on there acting like they are goddesses. I had to jump through hoops sometimes to even get a date with an above average chick.

I remember looking at the Tyler RSD videos a few years ago. The big key to their success
in clubs was not being too choosy about which girls they approached in the club.

Living in LA and San Francisco they would also go out to multiple venues every day for months
on end talking to everyone. All were welcome.

I was impressed with their hustle, but sometimes the "fishes" they brought back for those "threesomes"
and SNLs weren't exactly fresh. Quality would usually take a back seat to quantity.

What sort of game goal challenges should one issue to themselves this year? Should it be seasonal? As in winter game goal challenges, spring goal challenges, summer etc?

If so, what should they be and how should they change according to season? Also, the challenges should differ according to age bracket. 18-24 does something different from 24-30, then 30-40, 40+ etc.

These challenges are in order to better oneself in regards to game, both short term and long term game.

Don't get me wrong, I use to cut the rug for many years when I was younger. (House Music, Old skool etc)

Back then you went out to have fun, listen to the music and the DJ. Then you went home happy, if you met a girl that was a bonus.

These days dancing will separate a guy automatically. Most of the bruhs are to cool to dance and they usually stay on the perimeter looking to sniper a girl as she's leaving the dance floor.

Coming up I was a big dancer, but somewhere along the line I got away from it. Funny, went for NYE with a childhood homeboy and we rolled up on a couple chicks he knew that wanted to learn how to "step" Chicago style so I taught them the finer points. I hadn't stepped in years before that so it was all muscle memory.

Been here in ATL for 4.5 years. It's aite. What you hear about the women is true and there are a lot of stunners here but the nightlife and population is so spread out that it makes it difficult to swoop. This is a good spot to be if you're under 30, an extrovert, or know a good amount of people here already. Churches and clubs are your best bets for meeting black women here. The fish are definitely biting online but as mentioned above, the few cute chicks generally have shitty personalities.

I'm considering moving to SoCal but not so sure that it's a step up in lifestyle since I would have to pay twice as much in rent or get a roommate.

Stay the fuck out of So Cal... I'm born and raised here and I desperately want out. Most entitled women in the country. LA women are notorious for bad attitudes, FLAKING, and entitlement. Not to mention LA has the worst urban sprawl of ANY major city in the United States. It's embarrassing for a "tier 1" city.

Now if you work in the tv/music/film industry maybe LA is ok but other than that stay the fuck out. Unless you have a niche or stereotype to play up to for god's sake avoid LA. If you MUST do So Cal, San Diego is probably a better choice.

LA with its high cost of living, horrible urban sprawl, complete lack of walkable neighborhoods, astronomical rates of flakiness, and overrated nightlife is game on hard mode. It's a logistics nightmare from a nightgame perspective and it's not a true city. It's more like a bunch of suburbs and cities in one area connected by freeways. Many many roosh v posters have corroborated the shittiness of LA from a dating/female perspective.

Being a regular dude ain't good enough to get chicks in an environment where pussy commands such power and has so many options.

Men who aren't top 10% should avoid these places unless they have a niche to exploit.

I sometimes wonder if tourists or guys visiting a city do better than the locals who live there. You definitely tend to go out more since everything is new and you haven't experienced flakes, bad attitudes etc (yet) so you tend to put more heart and effort in the short time you're there.
