Too advanced for me back then!

I was happy if the girl answered the phone and I could carry on a conversation!

The last one in my 20s was getting ONS.. I couldn't believe it was possible to meet a girl (didnt matter the level) and get her to come home and have sex with you THE SAME NIGHT.

The problem was I thought you could blow the entire interaction/pull (and all the work you put in) if you asked her to come back with you. Damn was I wrong haha.

I really break everything down into steps.

I think the last hurdle I jumped over recently was cold approaching a 8+ and taking her home with me the same night...

Ive done it once or twice but now the problem is to replicate it again and again.

They may call it "player hating", but some of these fags do need to be cut down a few sizes. Worst part they use PUA jargon out in the open like its 2005. Pretty sad stuff.

This drives me up the goddamn wall.

I used to hang with this one guy on a weekly basis. Introduced him to the manosphere in the hopes that he'd lose his virginity in the his 30s by at least trying some approaches and getting some numbers.

Eventually we had a falling out. A year later I run into him a few times. Brings up the worst heartiste shit at inappropriate times with mixed company. I try to describe the look a girl was giving me, he wasn't understanding, and brought up the thousand cock stare. I just glared at him.

Was just about to approach a cute brunette too but there's an anti-game sphere around him that dries any pussy within a 30ft radius worse than the Sahara. He just stared at them. Motherfucker. Now you're going to talk inane shit while they're in earshot and stare in an awkward manner. Way to go.

I go out of my way to be a vindictive cruel bastard to these people in public. They need to learn the hard way and I have plenty of hate to spare for them. Just thinking about it gets me riled up.

Finding chicks I value that much is the first part.

I'm starting to be convinced that to have an abundance of 8+ chicks, I need to be a social magnet.

Even players with sons don't necessarily pass on the nuts and bolts of pimping.

That's so true it's not even funny. Those guys want to run while they don't even know how to walk properly. Meaning that the don't have basic socialization skills down, poor social awareness and little to no knowledge of female nature. They've never had a proper GF, have few or zero girls as friends, hang out with suckers, and allow other dudes to tool them. Basically they start at level -10 and now they hit google and dive deep into game. And of course they want it all as fast as possible so they consume level +10 content without making it to the level 0 first.

It's brutal to watch them struggle with it.

Forums were full of them. Game stuff, I mean real game stuff, is actually crippling them. It only exposes their basic incompetencies as they go. You can't get it how to drift a car with understeering before you know how to drive. You can't know how to escalate on a girl properly before you can be normal and cool in her presence. That's how it looked like. Those were the guys who always wanted to know how to just get outside for a moment, talk to one girl and drag her into their place asap.

I definitely think that guys are way too impatient in a way that they want to know it all right away. Step by step process is a lost art.

Socially awkward people tend to be more left brain and highly analytical. They are looking for a formula they can follow that will lead to success. They dont understand game is more of an Art than a Science. These are the same guys that will study rejections so they can supposedly learn how to handle them. Or my favorite, I know a guy who pulled and closed a hot Brazilian from the club, afterwards he then claims that the pull was shit because he could have done so many things better!

Some of these guys will never understand sometimes you can do everything right and not pull the girl. Conversely you can still make mistakes and not be perfect in your game and still pull. Lord knows I fall into the second category!!!

In my opinion... Its somewhat a balance between physical attraction and game. The more sexual attractive she finds you the more leeway she'll give you with "game". If you aren't the best looking guy you gotta make sure you are spitting fire out there.

Looks versus game?

Not today Satan.

Today the two most popular things in young black America
1) J. Cole album
2) Donald Glover album

The biggest thing this week, the season finale of Insecure.

With the J Cole record, there might be some hype lines to use in your own rap just off content. Incorporating someone else's thoughts into your own happens in two ways. Sometimes you can read some life advice with words so deep that they stand on their own.

The other way is by reference.
"Sip champagne when we thirstay..."

By reference is a good way to use content to tap into her emotional core.

If you're just using the wisdom of the words, then it has to be short, or you need to be past the attraction stage.

With Donald Glover, references to him, his music, his tv show - this is a good way to screen. He's cool right now for a certain set of people. Like Anderson Paak.

Insecure is the biggie. Its an HBO show about sister, her boyfriend and her best friend. The sister works at a nonprofit. Lives with her boyfriend that is building an app. But his life is not moving fast enough for her liking. She pseudo breaks up with him, kisses another guy, but she wants to give her bf a shot. He doesn't know. From the night of the kiss some embarrassing video got posted, jeopardizing her job. Meanwhile she pressures bf to give up the app and take a job at best buy. Main ends up sleeping with this dude she stalked, but comes home to find that boyfriend solved her problem. Guilt.

Eventually the boyfriend finds out about the infidelity and breaks out. The final scene of the season has him banging the hell out of some nice breasted chick that was feeling him.

Bro, the conversations I've had with chicks off of this show, solid gold. Probably a good opener for the next month or so.

Yeah man, I've been DM'ing chicks on FB to chat it up about the show. They love that shit. Of course, I'm knocking ole girl who stepped out, and most chics are finding ways to justify her behavior.
In my mind, this shows the mentality of most women and why it's delusional to think your LTR won't get some side dyck when we do the same thing.
That show is such an insight to the female psyche that it's interesting to watch.
Like her g/f nexting dudes for the simplest shit, then complaining about how she can't find a man. I had to ask myself several times over, "would I even hit that?" Besides being weight and height proportionate, she is not attractive by any stretch of the imagination. Yeah she's a lawyer, but that don't mean shit unless you're looking for a come up.
So many of these professional sistas who can't find men have this delusional image of the 6'9" pro-ball playing hedge fund manager with no kids they're looking for.

I definitely think that guys are way too impatient in a way that they want to know it all right away. Step by step process is a lost art.

I can relate to some of this, having been one of these guys myself. I was 18 when I registered here, and I'd started browsing game forums several months before that. I hadn't done shit in high school - I got interest here and there, but I was too shy and too obsessed with sports/studies to capitalize on them - I either missed clear opportunities when they appeared, fucked them up after they appeared, or just got rejected when I tried to create them. No success. I graduated a virgin without having so much as kissed a girl before. I had never had a relationship and my social skills were lacking.

As soon as I got to campus, I met a girl. Long story short, she came to me, showed a lot of interest, but I had nowhere near the game or confidence to capitalize. I was WAY behind, even when she tossed me softballs and showed clear interest. Eventually, she got infuriated by my weakness and told me (literally) to "get out of my life". That was done before my first fall semester was over.

To my credit, I realized how behind I was and decided I needed to learn some shit to avoid such outcomes happening again. I don't have a father, so I did what you guys note that many other young men are doing: I went straight to google. A quick search for "how to talk to girls" revealed Roissy, Roosh's blog, and a host of PUA forums. I started reading game and, after extensive browsing, decided I would use my winter term to put what I'd learned into action. At that point I'd read a little about routines, philosophies about approach anxiety, and memorized some canned openers/texts. I figured that was all I needed.

In fairness, this did get me much further than I'd been before. I got my first makeouts and made it to second base for the first time in my life. But the problems were legion.

As you guys are both saying, I lacked the "nuts and bolts" and I paid the price. The social awareness and basic social skills required weren't there yet. I had no idea how to escalate properly or how to be chill and normal in the company of women. I couldn't really hold a good conversation. I just went out there, drank a lot (for liquid courage - couldn't approach without it at the time), and tried to jump into approaches aggressively. I reasoned that I'd spent years being scared or unwilling to talk to girls, and so now I needed to reverse that and stop being a bitch - when in doubt, just go for it.

In short, I overcompensated for my previous anxiety by using alcohol to try and be someone else (the master approacher I'd read about online and tried to mimic via routines). My goal going out was to get laid - I had no real plan for how to get there (I was EXTREMELY impatient and direct), but that was the end game. For about 2 months in the winter of my Freshman year, I operated this way, going out 2/3 times a week.

I ended up learning the hard way, sinking as I tried to swim. The first girl I ever kissed (who I met that winter) ended up accusing me of attempting to rape her, an outcome that came directly as a result of me doing what XXL warned - trying to get from point A to B with zero understanding of how to escalate and build rapport (this made her uncomfortable, hence the accusation). I hadn't actually tried to do anything against her consent, but I was so incompetent and awkward that she was uncomfortable enough to presume I had (a more detailed account of this saga can be found here).

The social fallout created discomfort for me. The false accusation combined with that social fallout scared me into withdrawal. By the end of winter, I'd stopped going out. I registered on this forum right around this time (in mid/late March, just about the beginning of Spring) and then I basically went into a self-imposed social exile. I quit going out, and just spent the next 3 years focusing on my studies, fitness, and learning more about women and human interactions generally so I could understand where I went wrong. By the end of that 3 year period, I'd had enough time to absorb information and understand the process. I finally got some more sexual success and left college ready to enter the adult world.

TL;DR: I started at zero and wanted to get to 100 real quick, and paid the price for rushing. Failure caused me to turn things back down to zero and work my way up slowly, which ultimately has worked out for me now that I'm older and can look back on it.

Do I regret any of this? Not particularly. I learned the hard way, but I feel that perhaps I needed a punch in the gut in order to grow and understand just how far behind I was. Learning to fail as a beginner while trying to impatiently apply game concepts helped me to later understand their limitations, which has been good for me now. The hard punch I got encouraged me to isolate and develop myself slowly with fewer distractions. I think that process was very helpful for my maturity and understanding, as well as for improving my patience. Had I come in more smoothly/gradually and never gotten quite as harsh a punch, I might not have digested as much of the red pill as I have or understood just how flawed I was to start.

So you guys aren't seeing things - the phenomenon you outline is real, and I lived it. Impatient young guys are definitely an issue. It does have real negative consequences on those swept up in it, something I also learned the hard way, but it certainly isn't damning. While this path can really punch you in the gut and force your to learn the hard way due to the epic mistakes and resulting fallout (as was my case), sometimes hard lessons are the best lessons. I can only speak for myself, though.

New business idea Idea

Sell pickup material about the "nuts and bolts." No openers, no routines, no 7-step program. How to interact with girls 101. What you would pass onto your son.

This might be why Manson's Models appeals to a lot of people. I wouldn't know, haven't read it, seems queer. But there are a lot of people on the internet who enjoy his techniques AFTER reading other PUA material and being OVERWHELMED by the furry hats, the 3-second rule, and all of the steps necessary to remove the panties.

I gave my copy of "The Game" to a buddy a long time ago. He read it, never applied it, and did terrible. The book is collecting dust. The reason is he was overwhelmed by the material. He couldn't approach, he could barely make small talk with the cashier at Starbucks. How is he going to go into a club and start asking girls an opinion opener? Newsflash - he's not going to.

How many guys out there have the same experience? Guys who browse PUA material, any kind, only to reject it as nonsense and go back to their life of celibacy? The answer is more than you think, especially with the mainstream success of "The Game."

"Nuts and Bolts" would be for these guys, and it would sell like wildfire.

Manson's Models is a bit like A. Sleazy's stuff - it's in contrast to Mystery Method. People do not understand MM imo. And the fact that they don't understand MM is really on the inventors. *shrugs* I

Last time I read Models, my 2 takeaways

1) Don't put up with resistance. Don't try to win her over. (which is something that's traditional to mack game (as opposed to pimp game). See Mr. Locario)

2) Polarize her.

As for the book, i've been writing.

Halfway through a basics book, 40 pages so far.

But every sentence i write - I can think of so much more that goes into it.

Like here's an example.

"When you get a girl's # on Thursday night, when should you try to hook up with her...that weekend, or later into the week?"

Most guys that answer that question look at it as a A or B answer
- A - strike when the iron is hot
- B - let the # chill so you don't look thirsty.

But the Veteran player?

His first question is

"How come you couldn't bang when you got the #?"

WIA
In my experience B is the best option, ive had plenty of sitautions where i've had encounters with women long after the first interaction. Better to be patient than to be too needy, but the veteran player also says, why didnt you take her out on an instadate instead of getting the # (assuming its day game).

@Burns

This veteran asks that question because it tells me whether it's worth agonizing over sending the text, making the call, and figuring out if it makes sense to expend the energy.

Night club make out -> #? The number is worthless

Day game,, social circle, lots of investment? Good for a minute.

Happy hour game, light flirting, bad logistics?, Need to connect, but not necessarily set up a date.

Understanding how the number was obtained a guides how much stock a player should put into it. New players get really excited for numbers after drunken makeouts, veterans don't even go that far if the logistics for the night look bad.

The more experience I get, the more I realize the Game has no "multiple choice questions."

Hard for newbies to realize that. Myself included. They want to operate on a girl like she's a car...open here, press this button, use this tool.

^ Agree. Hence why the founders called it pick up artistry, not pick up science.

I really agree that it is an "art". I am really amazed sometimes at how this shit works.

One tactic will work on tons of girls and then you have that one where you gotta pull out a whole new bag of tricks for.
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-12-06 07:07:00 路 #3670
In terms of tactics, there is the argument that "need for approval/validation tactics" work well on particular personalities, but so called well adjusted girls fail to hook. They are offended.

I've never found that to be the case.
I've never met a girl that didn't want a challenge.
Never.

Even a chick that liked me straight off, she still responds to challenge.

And if you can't give a girl a hard time, that will make anything long term difficult.

If you believe psychology is a science (there is debate on that) Game is more science than art.
But not every situation looks like the lab.

One of the more subtle issues about a canned opener or a structured approach is that the content can fall flat.

Like if you come at a chick and ask her about something environmental, and she has poor observational skills, or poor social skills (typical) - depending on the content alone to spark the flame can leave you just stuck.

There is gold in the failure. If you realize it's not "working" but stay the course emotionally/nonverbally - you feeling like it's cool - can often make her feel like it's cool too.

The term is mirroring, and it has enough psychological evidence.

Most guys, players too, just don't stay in conversation long enough with enough insight or observation to make that happen.

This 35 second approach is not going anywhere, so he bails. Runs out of material after four minutes, excuses himself.

Maybe a guy's verbals aren't there yet.

So he needs to do things like social proof and preselection. He can use her eyes and vanity to his advantage. I've never seen a chick not react to social proof. Social standing is practically written into their DNA.

All the tools, tactics, techniques, and technology are out there. Whether guys choose to use them is another issue.

The newbies are vulnerable to "get rich quick" because of unconscious incompetence.

It takes perspective (which they lack) to accurately estimate the amount of work they need to progress.
It takes overcoming approach anxiety and then lots of rejection to even consider self-improvement.
Most guys don't have someone to give them an honest evaluation or are too ego invested to listen - ditto, the realization often doesn't happen until they deal with lots of rejection.
Too many "one weird trick" hucksters promising newbies that they'll be fucking Victoria's Secret Angels in dive bar bathrooms in no time. And the newbies bite - not because they want to buy a magic bullet, but because they don't know they're being sold one.

In order for someone to commit to putting in the hours, they first must realize - internalize - that they need to put in hours before they'll see results.

Which begs a question, what kind of results are we after.

If you want your notch list to look like Prince Yashua, what does that take?

Well known rapper, Division I athlete, local promoter...

Do you want the sexual options of the campus weed dealer?

Vision first. Then reverse engineer.

Celebrity chicks. The livest ones. Perhaps the player's end goal.

What would it take to swoop on one of those? Rock star level status? Right place, right time?

Could a regular guy spit some game to Meghan Markle?
