It’s four unlikely heroes, it’s in New York City, ghosts are taking over; it’s that same classic story but it’s not 30 years later ... it’s not dependent on the first one.”

The 45-year-old comedian actually raised her concerns about the trailer but they fell on deaf ears.

“Believe me the question was asked,” she said.

“I think that it’s very confusing. But then everyone said we don’t care what you think.”

This iteration of GB is supposed to be part of the empowering narrative for females,
yet they deride & ignore a concern from one of their principle female actors...?

This reminds me of my 9th grade class picture, circa '99.

I was one of five guys in the class, so as a joke the girls had made a "Girl Power!" sign just like that (sans the lightning bolt).
The girls would stand up and make those kinds of faces.
The guys would sit down in front, hold the sign and look miserable.


In hindsight, that picture was quite prophetic...

I've noticed these female "comedians" like to do that open mouthed gape shot a lot these days for publicity photos. I haven't seen anyone except this particular demographic do that. Once one does it they all have to do it like little monkeys imitating each other.

Narcissists are constantly-performing since they don't know how to read as a genuine human being. Put a camera in front of them, ask them to look happy or powerful, and you'll generally get an exaggerated 'off' reaction that reads as wrong to a normal viewer.

Some of the women in that picture are genuinely-happy, you'll notice how they stand out in the crowd. The others are various levels of falseness. The worst ones, with expressions on their faces that resemble no genuine emotion a human being has even made - are the five actresses. No surprise there.

Saw comedian Arj Barker the other night & he made a salient point about photographs from the 70's vs. photos of today.

Back in the 70's people didn't pose for photos. Many in the photo may not have even realised the photo was being taken.
Add in the complete lack of filters & selfie sticks & the like & a photo from the 70's was a much more genuine & intimate affair.
Family by the beach. Family at a picnic etc.

Today though...
Filters abound. People instantly grab the smart-phone from the other persons hand to 'make sure' the photo makes them look good.
Then if they don't look good in their stupid arched back, duck face, pose replete with peace sign hand gesture.
It's an immediate deletion & then everyone has to take the photo again...

Making today's photo's largely contrived & disingenuous.
