Well if Sunday-Monday are you only options...i would refrain from contacting anybody and stay off cupid till a day before.

I now mostly concur with what XPO is saying. From what I've experienced...if I'm ready and up for having a date on a Wednesday, I will hit up cupid late at night on a monday before going to sleep, with an opening message and drag it out till Tuesday, so I can schedule it for Wednesday. Or just plain ol' message girls on Tuesday with quick back and forth messages while they're still online, to get them out on wednesday.

I've wasted a lot of time and texting prior to that and learned the hard way...during the late 2014-early 2015 period. There is no magic game to getting them out either. The girls who want to meet guys will meet guys...some more than others. All you can do is be the guy at the right time to message her and practice minimalism to reduce the time wasting if they end up flaking.

I'm getting about a 10% reply rate and of those that reply i'm getting arouns 50% number closes. I've only been doing this for a week or so, still waiting to hear back from a few girls who will presumably flake.

Once the ice is broken i'm confident moving forward and my goal is to find a decent traditional girl to have a relationship with. Wouldn't mind having a few fuckbuddies but that is secondary to me.

The one absolute no-no for online dating: NO PHYSICAL COMPLIMENTS. Do not sound like every other groveling chode out there (what I call "groveling chode," chicks call "creep").

I won't give you any canned lines, because what you say should be consistent/congruent with your own voice. But I will give you the general methodology that worked pretty well for me:

For girls with decent profiles that actually have some content, spend a minute or two and come up with a message based on something they wrote. From scratch; no template. Chicks give you bonus points if it appears you aren't spamming some copy-paste bullshit to every girl on the thing.

For girls with shit profiles that have nothing unique or interesting to grab hold of, come up with a very fun and creative copy-paste message to spam them all with. Since you're only coming up with this once, spend some time and really craft it to be perfect. I know I just said chicks hate copy-paste messages, but in these cases you don't have much choice; it beats trying to turn their generic drivel into fun conversation, or just not messaging them at all. The good news is no other guy can spawn a fun convo from a barren profile either, so you can beat them all by having a great copy-paste message, which is the next best thing.

I get a much better response rate on OKC by writing out at least a few sentences that mention something in her profile.

I've started to skip the girls who don't have anything in their profile worth commenting on. It never goes anywhere with those girls anyway.

This I haven't found to be true. I mean it depends: If it seems like it's because she's too dumb to write anything interesting, then I agree. But if it seems like she just didn't feel like spending much time on it, then these are often the best prospects (i.e. they're normal human beings). The girls who get super into the whole online dating scene and craft these gigantic profiles tend to broken individuals and/or serial daters who demand way more than they can offer.

An anecdote that illustrates how little attention you should pay to how girls answer questions and write up their profile:

I used to sell things door to door when I was in my teens. Knives, vacuums, everything. You know those people that have "NO SOLICITING" or basically any other type of sign that translates into "FUCK D2D SALESMAN" signs up on their doors? For a long time I politely avoided those houses and went to the next ones.

Me being fairly green at the time brought up my hatred for those signs and how ethically I avoided them. After he gathered himself he ripped me a new asshole and proceeded to tell me to NEVER, and I mean NEVER skip those houses. He actually told me some of those houses with the no soliciting signs have been some of his best sales.

The reason is the people that put up those signs have most likely been burned by salesman before and have a weakness that can be exploited. He was right. It was easy to frame myself as "different" or "better" or whatever stupid superior adjective that will set you apart from those that burned them before.

It depends really - I like girls who know their own blueprint well, upfront and don't bullshit you with a 6 date strategy on their profile, in a sense that they are more likely to result in a bang. Many of those girls will also bang you however.

If I had an option between a girl who was upfront, and one strictly saying no hookups (with all else being equal) I know which one I'd choose.

The girls who say "no hookups" thing can be divided into two camps. Those who are definitely not into hookups, and those who are given the right guy and circumstances but are allowing themselves some plausible deniability. The girls in the latter camp are in the majority in my experience.

But whatever camp those girls are in, if they're soliciting for dates online, and you turned up to the date as Tom Hardy, it don't matter a solitary jot what she's put on her profile. Never forget that.

Odds are, finding a decent girl from a dating website will be kind of tough. Most of those women are looking for validation and attention. Since many men will continue to stroke all those women's' egos, then they will continue to use apps where they feel wanted from one click/swipe away.
